To padvan: Unfortunately it does. if you read the wiki on the character info you'll find the "after story" that continues after their graduation. Not sure if the "after story" will be released along with the anime. If anything it will be later released as an OVA on DVD.

Great movie thanks I also follow the anime and I'm hoping they release the "after story" with it...you never know it could be different then the movie, after all how many movies follow the anime anyway?

The art is definitely.......something
Oh well, same thing with the Air movie.

Toei need to ask KyoAni how to animate.

Apart from that, the story and characters feel a little closer to the visual novel, if this ending really has you down, the "real" nagisa ending of the game is sure to cheer you up

Azenic /etc.@ FTR probably a huge disappointment due to less HQ art /animation (which you really should expect, since the anime is Kyoto Animation and the movie isn't) but, according to a reliable anime fan (he's seen over 200 animes), it's better than the series.

the reason why is because he [-]http://kojioe.*********.com/[-] tends to emphasize plot and character development (especially the latter) in his ratings-- so I suppose it makes sense since the movie is more of a drama than a slice-of-life comedy, and so you can get to know and empathize with the characters more.

ps- as many of you probably already know, Clannad AfterStory is out, and kojioe gives his approval so far.
