wow, the updated version of wikipedia tr3, btw i have a couple question,
1. is it only text , or with image?
2. is this the official version, or you generate yourself

wow! A great Job . It just took me 3 seconds to load the whole 3GB+ file in my old Pentium 4. Five times faster than opening a 1MB file in adobe acrobat reader :-). I love the quick subject jumping facility, which would jump into any article you need in less than a second!. Remember there are more than 4.5 million articles in this Wikipedia. I use the same file in my Dell Axim with my 4GB card. Its really amazing to see that my PocketPC performance is almost the same as in Windows :O.

I think this really is an efficient( file is optimized for searching) and cost effective solution ( no internet connection needed ), and don't forget this can be used in Wikipedia website banned countries ;-)

however, I got a problem here, tomeraider 3.1.10 can find the file in my card, my other tr3 files are ok.

I am using: treo 680, transcend card 8GB.

any idea why ?

Same issue with my Centro. Have 8GB card. All other tr3 files work great, but tr3 can't find the new wikipedia file. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Note sure if this has something to do with it:

"Palm - TomeRaider3 for Palm has limited HTML support. As a result the articles are shown with basic formatting. Complex tables are a bit unorganised. On the Palm platform TomeRaider3 can only read files up to 2 Gb (even when the handheld uses FAT32 file system). Therefore editions larger than 2Gb need to be published as several volumes. Hyperlinks between these volumes are turned into external references and have to be resolved manually."
