o.O i open the game with iso then on title game says please insert disc 2 where is disc 2.. in the file???

Babykid, I'm having the same problem over here. In PowerISO if you open the 4 contents in the .ISO itself, you have GTA3_audio.mdf, GTA3_audio.mds, GTAIII.mdf, GTAIII.mds. Those files I think are CD one, and CD two. But the autorun.ini after you have installed the game itself from the setup.exe doesn't prompt those, I think that's what the problem is here.

It works, 100% real.
Just install it with the CD one (GTAIII) and then mount the second CD (GTA3_audio) and play (It doesn't need to be converted).

how do i mount the second one, every time i open it with poweriso, it just has a bunch of audio files. but i did install the game though.

DUD for me.
Got four files (2x .mdf and 2x .mds)??!
VIRTUAL CLONE DRIVE (5.2.2) refuses to load any of them...
"Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows."

NOT DUD. MY MISTAKE> Forget VIRTUAL CLONE CD. (Not sure why you suggested that and said not to bother with poweriso, but not my experience.)
Mount with PowerISO 4.0> works fine.

I'm so0rry, im kinda new at this I guess. I downloaded the file and installed GTA3 no problem. when i burn a cd with poweriso with the info on the 800 mb GTA3_audio file (note i am burning everything in that file, not just the audio files inside the GTA3_audio main file) I try to load GTA3 and i keep getting the "No cd, please eject or reinsert the cd" or something when i load the game. I tried manually putting the audio files in the audio folder in the actual grand theft auto III audio file. that didn't work. Any suggestions? thanks a lot.

on my computer the game plays only whit GTA3_audio image whit cd says
"No cd, please eject or reinsert the cd".on the another PC ,the games plays whit CD

Thankks works great i downloaded Daemon tools too mount the gtaIII then installed it then i mounted gta audio and then went to my computer, the right cliked the gta picture and clicked play seems to be working great thanks EVANdersar

I get the same problem as prozav, i'm not new to torrents or image files, but everytime I mount the second CD and run the game, it just freezes my computer on a blank screen after the opening titles, i've tried patching the game as well, but nothing works, any ideas?

Heres what you do.....get a burning program like Roxio or Nero...what ever...and then choose the burn image files...one by burn each image on to a disc and after that you have a neat collection of GTA 3 and you can install from then on and enjoy the game!!!
Or you can use Daemon tools...either way....its your choose...and this game does work.....if it doesn't make sure your computer is updated with the latest drivers and that your computer meets the specification and requirement of the game....!!!! And I still prefer the first option...if you like the game that much...buy the original and show your appreciation to the makers of the game: Rockstar! And if the game doesn't work on your Vista....right click on the shortcut...properties..Campatiblity and then tick the Run as Adminstrator and Choose Windows XP SP2 for Windows!!Anywayz..gd work man!!! Cheers!

Okay. I'm still having a problem with this ******* game. I have it installed and everything, but it still says that disk two is missing. I have wasted over 6 DVD's trying to get this thing to work. There are two audio files. Like there's Audio MDF, and Audio MDS. I burned Audio MDF I think to the DVD. I input it, and it says that CD 2 is missing. I mounted it, and it still says that cd 2 is missing. Am i suppose to convert both Audio MDF and Audio MDS as ISO's combined...? Because both of them have the exact same ******* files on them -.-....
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

i've done everything correct but am receiving an error as i click "start a new game" ... It says "unhandled exception" ... c0000005... at address 36abd80 ... any insight evan? i didn't have any installation issues and mounted the images correctly..

well, it works...
1st install both cds using virtual daemon,
2nd make sure you replace the correct crack file, wich you can find in the second cd.. if you cant see it, extract second cd to a folder, select crack and replace on C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City
restart the machine after#

dear EVANdersar I have tried everything, mounting with Daemon tools pro, burining to a real cd etc etc - but I keep getting "cycle redundancy check" errors meaing there is something wrong with some 8 .wav files on the GTA_audio_cd - do you or anyone else have a fix for this? This is probably the same error causing problems that some others have like XToxinX and GGjonny have? Pls who can help?

I solved it finally!
So:
I still think the audio cd IS corrupted, however
Power ISO is capable to mount the image anyway (I had tried only Daemon Pro so far) - and then it works fine.

definately doesn't work with daemon tools lite 4.11.2 I barely get the rockstar splash before it quits with no errors. Waste of time downloading? Sure seems to be.

hi all, im on vista and got the following problem
i converted both mdf to iso with magic iso
loaded in daemon tools the audio and the game loads ok
BUT when running around the streets ect I just get a back ground noise, no game noise when beating people up ect?
