bizlebee... i HIGHLY recommend you google PSP iso and fireware and modding and instead (well, there's LOTS of things you need to do). it is NOT as simple to drop this game on your flashcard, doesn't work that way) and you can't get the answers in a torrent file comment section.

@ bizlebee. search for utorrent. install it. once you downloaded the torrent file above, open it using uttorent.

bizlebee your best getting yourself over to http://www.psp-hacks.com/ and read all about the custom firmware's and how to get this installed. Not that easy but once mastered you will not be buying many games for your PSP

This game actually is an english version, i was surprised that there was going to be an leaked version, unless it was released somewhere else. My psp is CFW 3.90-M33-2, and uses the Sony NPP6 something something no UMD thing. I will still get the game though. I downloaded this in like 3-4 hours.

i think this is the full game, its really close to the same size as the Jap one. I kinda got used to the jap zacks voice, and started to find the english zacks voice fairly annoying....

when a rar file is split into more than one archive is normally for the files to appear as a different format, just open the .rar file and unrar, no problems will occur so dont worry

it appears to be the actual full game, not sure if its the one thats coming out to America, but the voice, subtitles, and words are in full english. i only played for like 20 min to check it out. I want to finish FFVII first, even though this game is the prequel, but i like to play games thats in the future then play a game that tells the past.
All you have to do with the multiple files is just simply extract them, and it will come out as an ISO, and put it in your ISO folder in your Memory root, or convert it to CSO to make the size smaller, its about 1.6 gb as ISO, and about 1.12 gb as an CSO.

My advice is play the game in english, and as it's so good you'll know it by heart (ut has the new Game + option which means HUNDREDS hours of playing). Then... play it in japanese!

argh, i hate how american people dub the voices, its like they arent even trying.
the Advent Children dubbed version pis*ed me off, especially during the fight scenes with all the lame grunting. Some voice acting parts were good...
too bad you cant choose the jap language in this game, the jap one is better, but even if i do remember the menu, might be hard to remember the materia, items, and skills and stuff, unless you spend a bunch of time on it.
but i dont think it will sound as bad to the people who havent heard the jap voices yet. I think the only people that are complaining, including me, are the ones that got used to the jap voices.
So its either learn Jap, Study the stuff in this game to play the Jap version, or just try to get used to the english version.
i think im going to stick with the english version, since i have tried the other 2 options already.
Another option... play the game, and have no idea whats going on or what you are doing. hehe

Game works great, well except for laggy FMV's, could there be a way to compress the data so it runs better? I mena ingame it runs perfect but the fmv's, well the intro so far kept latting frames while it was loading from the stick.
Considering the Japanese version had no problems running on 3.40 OE-A im worried the US version will always be this laggy and I don't want to risk bricking my PSP by updating.

K, first off please don't take my head off for asking what may seem a stupid question to yall.
I have been reading and am pretty brand new to this whole arena. I jut want to recap and make sure I have everything understood.
Download to Utorrent
Unzip
and then with the PSP Compressor, this is where I am fuzzy. I have Nero and am functioning well with that, but have never heard of or used this other program.
After the PSP compressor hook up the psp and transfer.

You don't *need* to compress it unless it is too big to fit on your mem stick. Nero will do you no good here, the .cso compression is more like zip or rar than it is video transcoding. As long as you're properly modded, you can just chuck it into your ISO folder on psp and voila (after unRAR'ing the archive you download with utorrent, of course ;0)

the psp dont need to have a mod chip, just needs to be a custom firmware. the best way to get a custom firmware is to use Pandora.

i havent tried this download version yet, but i downloaded another torrent for crisis core english and for people who pay close attention to the graphics, some parts are fuzzed up and choppy compared to the normal jap version.
does anyone kno if its just teh version that i was playing with or are all english version like that?
ie. cut scene after defeating first boss at train station u engage and battle with Zeph and that little cut scene was horribly ugly and then wen Angeal arrives the cut resolution went back to normal.
has anyone realized it or did i remember wrong that the jap version was also like this?

Yeah, i did realize that, i dont know if its because its the Asia version or not, but i remember that the jap version did have better cutscenes. I'm just going to wait till the American version comes out, might be better. If not then they did a horrible job converting

i think theres an emulator, but doesnt work well, i wouldnt choose to play on my computer personally.
By the way, you need a custom firmware to play downloaded games. to know if you have a custom firmware or not is to check if there is some letters after the firmware, for example. Official Firmware = 3.71, Custom Firmware = 3.71-M33.

i dont think that theres going to be a Crisis Core with Japanese dub, and English sub, mainly because i found out that most americans are too lazy to read the subtitles, and complain when they have to read the subtitles.

i need help, so i double clicked one of the files and it automatically extracted to one iso file. I copied that to my memory (4gb). Well the game starts, but fmv is laggy. But after i chose new game, it's just a blank screen. BTW, i have 3.71 m33-3.

whenever i download this torrent it 19.7% an error message comes up saying something about host not found then in the log section it says torrent failed but carries on downloading from where it left off.
should i stop it or leave it to finish downloading and see if it works?

ok, one problem I have personally.
$£%*%£ awesome game! finished it a week or so ago. But...
You get past the end credits and it says SQUARE-ENIX and crashes and the PSP just turns off :/
it should show an ending cutscene and have the option to save and play the game through again with all the obtained stuff.

Im using 3.71 M33-2 and it works fine until after the end credits. downloaded another version off a different torrent and it sorted the problem

Guys i really need some help, after i downloaded this file its a winrar. in unzip it it becomes a folder call em-ff7cc and inside that folder there are more folders.. but there are no files that is a CSO or ISO.
I tried copying the entire folder into my psp but it dosent work.
Please i know im a newbie can someone please help me with this.
