yea just need 3.71 m33 firmware. heard it also runs on 3.52 but slow.
leave it as an iso so it doesnt slow down during gameplay or cutscenes

try entering into recovery mode and change the cpu speed
both of them, press until it reaches 333..
that should work..
note: i believe most of you know how to enter into recovery mode..
but just in case, here it is..
1) turn off your psp completely"as in"
2)turn it on and at the same time hold the r button

for those of you who don't know this:
the psp can actually use 333mhz of cpu power eevr since the 3.5 firmware. so whether or not you're in OFW or CFW, games that require 3.50 and above actually use 333mhz. yea, even god of war, and crisis core.

@houndour228: yes but make sure to go into recovery mode and set the psp's game xpu speed to 333mhz because since firmware 3.5 all games use 333mhz as the cpu speed(thats y we have sweet games like crisis core, god of war... etc)

just a quick question, i downloaded the one from another one in this site, so i didnt download this one, in the very beginning, when Zack first encounters Sephiroth in the training, those the graphics look b*d when the two are swinging their swords against each other up to the point where Zack's sword breaks.
i play the jap one, and i dont remember it being that bad.

It works on my 3.90 m33-2. The japanese one was annoying because I didn't know absolutely nothing about the story. Glad this is out now. The story is good and the graphics are insane. This is a must have. Anyone a fan of Final Fantasy or has seen something about this game, I RECOMMEND IT!

When I try to copy final fantasy cso file into my psp (3.80 M33-5) iso file it says that "cannot copy FFCC: cannot find the specified file. Make sure you spacify the current path and file" whats the matter? is the software 3.80 too old or what?? If I have to upgrade the firmware to 3.90 how will I do that? pls help..

If your game freezes, loading errors, its probably because your on a dated custom firmware. your firmware shud be at least in the 3.71 m33 range (3.71 m33-4 best). if your below that, how would you expect newer games to work? this custom firmware does everything.
Am waiting till 3.90 is fully complete b4 i upgrade to that because there are still bugs needed to be fixed.
this custom firmware does everything 3.40 oe-a does and better. leave the past in the past and upgrade. will only benefit you in the end.

Lastly, its best to leave crisis core as an iso. compressing it to a cso only causes lag and slow load times during intense battles and remarkabe cgi's.

I have a fat psp running 3.90 m33-3 with the msfatmod and 1.50 kernel installed. Running the full iso off a real 8gb sandisk high speed purchased off amazon. I'm also not using any of the NO-UMD modes, as these didn't make any difference. But here's what finally fixed my FMV Lag
First of all YOU CANNOT FORMAT AN 8GB CARD TO FAT(16)! It will not work, as the format is native to 4gb and below. Strangely this seems to be everyone's solution and is posted everywhere.
Update your CFW (3.90-m33), install fatmsmod, and REFORMAT the card via the psp in that order (and yes in FAT32). Good luck

hey i got the solution for my prob as for now as well as solution for diegonfx coz even i was stuck at the same place where u got... anyways the solution is decompress the cso file back to iso and try... it worked with me hope it helps

I heard that crisis core only works on psp versions 3.90 but this download does work on custom firmware 3.40 OE-A i have this version working with this download. not sure about other versions but try, this meethod is safe.
Instructions:
you need to have UMDgen on your pc. download from http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/194
once u have downloaded the [PSP]Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core [USA][FULL][ESPALPSP com].rar open it in UMDgen and SAVE AS A COMPRESSED CSO FILE anywhere on your computer.
now you can cut it or paste it on to your ISO folder on your memory stick
and it should work. hope this helps.
people without custom firmware (custom updated psp's) sorry it wont work.

thanks for the uploader!!! works fine on my psp slim with custom firmware 3.71 m33-2 using the np9660 driver.. if anyone has a problem using this custom firmware, try this:
1. turn on your PSP
2. press the select button
3. adjust your cpu speed to 333
4. adjust your driver to sony np9660 driver
5. exit by pressing the select button again
6. enter the game
Hope this would help!!! Don't 4get to buy the original game so they can produce many more beautiful games like this!!!

Wow, I'm getting confused with all this stuff and all the links you've given me. Let me make this simple, I have a black psp slim with OFW 3.90 . I want to make it 3.71m33 using pandora but without opening up a battery? Is there any way? Like can I use a program on my computer not the psp to make a pandora battery. My friends told me he made his from a psp but the psp that made his was already 3.03 OE-B.

let someone "flash" it, or let them put custom firmware on it ( both same thing, just different names) don't do it yourself if you dont know what to do, because you need special stuff for it...it normally takes around 20 minutes to do...so just google it for someone near to where you live ( your city..) and ask them to flash it.

hi guys im kinda new to all of this puttin games on psp...i just got my psp a few days ago, all i kno iz i have software ver. 3.60 and i kno that u have to have the game iso file to play the game , but i downloaded 3 diffrent games and i put it on my psp but it did not show up at all it said that "there are no games"..so im really lost i do not kno what to do show i was thinking maybe someone on here could help me because i have no clue....?

dta585tu718, the answer to your question is that unfortunaletly your psp cannot be downgraded without the use of a pandoras battery instead of buying one you could just go to ebay and there are people their who will downgrade it for you and then upgrade it to the latest custom firmware (4.01 m33-2) when you recieve your psp all you have to do is connect your psp to your computer and copy the cso/iso game files to your "ISO" folder which will be next to your "PSP" folder if not put it their after you take out your psp go to your game folder in your psp and they will be there. P.S. i know this because i did the same thing to my psp and i have the original psp

STOP!!!! don't download this torrent. It's bad. It will stop working at a certain point or another. I had the same problem. So, I downloaded another that said "eng" insted of "usa". It works.
Sorry for the late comment but I had to complete the game to make sure that it did not freeze in the middle. Just go to the top of this page and type "final fantasy crisis core eng" and you'll get the good and complete one.
My version is 390 m33-3.

I can't get mine to work. When I put the file in my ISO folder, it says file or directory is unreadable and corrupted. I have 3.52 m33-2..it's my first time trying to play a downloaded game. I dunno if I'm supposed to just put the game file or the entire game folder in the ISO folder in my psp. Where can I get help?

this torrent is fine and the game is working just fine!
i had this bug where ive to take the elevator and the game just hangs there
but i converted the cso file into iso
it takes more space but the game is working fine now

you DO need a custom firmware to run this games, as well as others psp iso/cso games...
This works pefectly on my 5.00 m33-6 (slim).
download & seed 
oh, and for those who didnt get it yet u must:
1.exctract the zipped file (use winrar for that)
2.put the cso/iso file into your X:/ISO (X stands for your psp root name) folder.
2b. if you dont have the ISO folder in your psp directory just create it manually.
3. disconnect your psp from the pc and start playing.
Hope this helps u noobies to make it working

ISO folder is the folder where you put your iso/cso games...when, in your psp, you go to mem stick to find your iso/cso games the system tries to go to that folder. If you put the games somewhere else they' wont show you up on your psp, so u have to create it manually the first time...
1. Connect your psp
2. Go to : Computer > (X [which is your psp drive]
3. Create a folder and rename it as ISO [so u'll have X:/ISO]
4. put your games inside that folder, and here you go.

the game in my psp hangs when it gets to chapter 9 nibelheim area where you fight G-deleter (the mini-boss right before you fight sephiroth) damn need help . it casts whirlwind and everything else crashes. well not really O_O the DMW is still rolling, i still get my status changed but the fighting hanged. sad ahaha i'm 13 hours into the game.. anyone know where i can download a full iso version? i hate cso's -_-''

No, no good emulators for PSP as far as I know. Only available on PSP.
