What's been removed from this to get it under a Gb? I thought even with CSO compression on 9, it was still around 1.09Gb?

I just used the full iso and compressed it at 9 w/ YACC. There shouldn't be anything missing...

This actually works! Had about 2MB to spare on my 1GB memory stick. Doesn't look like anything has been taken away.

question for darkbeginning....i have the full iso and i compressed with yacc and i could only compress to 1.02gb and thats dax.

chumingo you need a hacked psp. And you need to place it in the iso folder on your psp.

But there is something, i unlocked my psp but then I did a network update does that have anything to do?... also what I do is insert the memory stick and save the files on ISO is that ok?!

the ISO folder should be in the root of your mem Stick and in all CAPS
In this specific torrent is a .rar of a .cso
Unzip it, and put the .cso file where you would the .iso

Im sorry for asking here but in the forums they dont answer my questions... I just unzip the file, get the file and put it on ISO on my memory stick and then turn on the psp and put games, memory stick? because if thats it something is wrong because i did unlock mys psp and have played downloaded games...

You may need to just rebuild Your mem stick...
What firmware are you running? Check your settings and let us know...

Hi darkbeginning. I tried to played this game but it seems the full cinematic for summons are not working.. I only see the last part of the cutscene where you only see the damage caused by the special casted by the summons. I was expecting the full cutscene like when zack fought ifrit and used the hellfire special, you can see the full cutscene. Btw, I'm using 3.90 m33-2 firmware...

If anyone wants to make this file smaller you can use umdgen and deleted the update folder from the game and compress it. Iv got it down to 926mb.Nice if u only have a 1gb card.
Works perfect on 3.40oe-a.

=/ for some reason my 1GB memory card only shows 949 MB capacity -- i figured everyone's was that size; guess some people can fit more?? well THANKS richxdeath for the umdgen hint; i will try that so i can fit this on my card still saving up for that 8GB card so limited to 1GB for now...

So, i downloaded the game. Played it, put in like 15 hruos....Love the game. HOWEVER. from what i think is the final boss match in the game. right after you kill the guy the second time, (trying not to spoil much, haha) it freezes. i have it on, hoping that it'll play again, no luck.....this happen to anyone else?

What I encountered is that the dmv scene for the summons is incomplete. You can only see the last part of the scene. I downloaded the game again from other providers and it works perfectly. I can now see the complete dmv scenes. Good thing that the saved game file from the previous game can be use. Maybe there's a problem on this cso file or just my firmware version. I'm using 3.90 m33-2.

callie510 i had the same problem as my ms only showed 9.49mb but removing that folder did the trick.
And chumingo if u did a network update u may need to downgrade again using the pandora battery tool.And next time don't use Sony's network updates.
I recommend that you use custom firmware instead

my current version is : 3.71 M33-2, I already have played naruto ultimate ninja heroes with the game compresssed in .rar and, put on ISO blabla and it have worked, but... crisis core doesnt work...

Its because Crisis COre doesn't have any extention... there is non *.somthing, i think if you add,.Cso, that would work , try it ^^
and with wich one you compressed the file ?
Itried with a 1Gb6 file and i have got a 1Gb1 file only.... Can anyone telle me if it works after changing the extention en CSO plz ?

Hello !! I think this will not fit in a 1gb memory stick because if you unzip this.... the whole file is 1.6gb (to be exact 1,676,478 kb)...

The 1.6 gb you mentioned is the exact size of the ISO, so the CSO should be smaller. 972 mb is possible, though i don't know if it will acually fit in 1 gb memory stick (my memory stick is 2 gb). well i'm off to download this torrent.

Anyone have a problem where you can see the game on the Mem card, start it, but right after it starts, you get "The game could not be started. (80020321)" ?

if you want to finish this game and to see the ending of it then you will have to download full image of crisis core and play it through the psp iso loader using usb cabel. i did it that way right before last boss battle.

i downloaded the rar file unzipped it renamed the file and set a .cso after the name -> CrisisCore.cso if you want to know the name. well then i format my memstick and create the folder ISO there i put in the cso file and when i try to start the game my psp says No Games Found...i have a psp 3.90 M33-3

Could someone tell me how to get this game on a 1gb stick?(946 mb that is, with 3.40 oa on it, leaves me about 911 mb of free space). I ripped the cso file to 926 mb, but that still is to big for this card. If someone could help me out, I'd appreciate that a lot!

how did you guys get it to be 926MB??? i use YACC at 9 and can only get it from 1.59 to 1.XX and when i took out the update folder it helped a bit but it only brought it down to 1.06???

i downloaded this and then expanded the .rar file using 7-zip
and the only file i had it it was FF-Crisis-Core, which was no file in particular (it literally says that the type of file it is is just file)
as you expect this didnt work so i tried adding .cso after it and nothing happened
i tried putting it in the ISO folder but that didnt do anything
confused and frustrated
