Whith Alcohol.....etc.First i put rome then barbarian and then it ask me about somme updates. Ok and then when i want to install Alexander...........blank, nothing. It just hapens nothing.

I have installed rome TW and barbarian invasion,it seems everything ok,the problem is only with Alexander,it seems missing of the upadate in the folder update,but anyway thanks

Copy first the crack file to the directory where you've installed the game. If you've already done this, see if your version of Direct X is the proper one. If not, install the one that the game gives you to install.
Hope you'll manage to play this game.

some directions on how to install it included with the files would have been nice
i went to the set up in rome total war CD 1(in used WinRAR to get all the files out), to the install and it asks me to find .sky.cab. and to verify that it exists??
please help ASAP

destroy666... Could you please help me out on how the f... I can install this download! I try to open the file that is named Rome Total War Cd1 (which has a winrar icon) and winrar says that it is not able to open the archive, which ends with .iso

probobly because your winRAR isnt set to open ISO files, check out in options and make sure the box is checked, i had to check that box when i installed WinRAR
and can someone help me out, the game makes my computer restart everytime it try to play campaign

shogun total war did the same thing to mine, never could figure it out, and i downloaded like 3 differant uploads of it. i think it has something to do with your computer.

125758 The problem is that you probly don't have Direct X 9.0 installed, so try to install that and see if it works. Thats usually the problem.

ALEXANDER DOESN'T WORK AT ALL 
even when you load de image file the CD doesn't have a proper icon, and also the autorun does not work.
When you try to execute the setup program it does nothing, and it doesn't seem to be a proper executable file.
Rome Total War and the Barbarian Invations Expansion work perfectly!

This Torrent works, save the Alexander expansion. No Viruses (scanned all files w/ Norton Internet Security '08)
To install: with alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools, mount the ".rar" files as images (YOU DO NOT NEED TO UNPACK THEM. they are actually image files of some sort, though I'm too lazy to check which kind).

In terms of the crack: some users here report that the supplied crack worked fine for them, but i kept getting a "please insert CD and restart application" sort of message. If you've got my problem, try finding another crack with a google search... they are pretty abundant for this game. i used the v1.5 crack at: http://www.***************.com/site.php?postnum=961
and it worked fine (I'm running Direct X 10... if you've got a version older than 9.0b then you may need to update your directX as well.
to install any crack, overwrite the origional files in the game directory with the cracked ones and add any new additional files to the directory. you can also save the old directory files by simply renaming them (example: "RomeTW_.exe" or "RomeTWorig.exe" from "RomeTW.exe"

The main game and Barbarian Expansion work but the Alexander Expansion doesn't work for me, looks like the same for everyone else who has commented.

Oh also your problem, i don't know if it will work but when i use DAEMON i turn all the emulation options on, try that if you haven't already otherwise i'm not sure why it would do that didn't have a problem.

I tried to install this, got it completely downloaded and mounted all 3 rome total war cd's and when i installed it started missing hundreds of files... who ever ripped the image did a bad job. it wont install...

The Alexander image won't start.
I get an error when I try to autorun it or start setup!
I see other have same problem and some don't.
Give us a freaking explanation or a tip how to overbridge this error and install Alexander!

Hmmm I guess Alexander is somehow corrupt although winrar doesnt tell it when unpacking.
Cause the Setup file is about 500MB.
But when I unpack it it's around 300MB.
Wich totally makes no sense.
So *** is going on :S

ok I see some people have problems with even installing the game.
first of all let me tell you this.. you dont need to unzip. just use virtual image drivers such as, "magicdisk" easy and free. it sets up several virtual drivers just like your cd-rom driver and makes the file "act" like a cd-rom.
now I saw that some people were missing a lot of files during the first install, so did I. so i went and look for it, I was missing allot of files on disc one.. and found it they were placed on dic2. I haven't figured it out yet but I think you need to unzip in order to make this installation possible.

The sky.cab problem seems to be that you have to extract each rar cd seperately

For those who are missing some files.
Extract all.
When it said bla bla, missing bla1, press Win key(btw. ALT and CTRL) then go to cd2 folder find that bla1, and copy to cd1 but in the right path.
if it said missing cd1/setup/data/bla1, you have to go like I said above and copy it where it saids (that bla1 file).
It will be about 10 files you will have to copy like that, and sometimes it will be in the CD2, sometimes in CD3 folder, but it works when you install it like that.

This is for anyone having trouble with installing Alexander. You need to reload the torrent again, when you do your torrent client should automaticley start checking the files.
When its done click on the file tab in you torrent client and check the percentages of your files, for me alexander was on 64.4% so re-download anything thats not 100%
All files are clean and working n1 uploader

I tried moving the files like kvaju said but it wanted me to move them into some setup folder in the G drive i mounted with iso. I couldnt move them in there cause it doesnt have room to move them in.

when i inserted disk 2 after the completion of the first....it doesnot accept it(it shows the msg"insert disk2",but even if i click the ok button it keep asking)......the autorun works though...please help

For me even Rome Total War can't work ( I haven't tried to install Barbarian yet). I installed it, put crack on Installation destination, double click the crack to run the game...
