so the install is 4.7gb? what did he remove that made it so much smaller? the actual game is 7.4 gigs for the dvd and probably around the same for the install. obviously something is missing. usually the install sizes at least match with his rips unless he takes something out.

u cant 'take out' tiberium wars. it was never included in the expansion. the original requires tiberium wars on top of the 7.4 gig expansion dvd. the Skullptura version doesnt need the original so if anything the install should be much larger for original game files. confusing but hey if it works with all the vids and sound then who cares? it would be nice if he told us what he got rid of sometimes.

Geez, get newsgroups and then download the game. You'll get the maximum speed you're paying for at your internet-provider, and when you do, downloading an extra 7GB is almost nothing.

no need to run as Admin , see that sign "!?" in readme, because i don't have that stuff like UAC so i didn't knew. Now i tested on Virtual PC, so run setup.bat as usual.
If game requiers original Tiberium Wars, maybe path where u extracted have non english letters, so extract to normal path and run setup again.

TNX gizmolio! it works fine 4 me! TO ALL who hasn't figured out it yet how to run this... 1st u need at least 6 gigs HD space, a kick ass video card(i got 512MB Nvidia GS7300 or higher), lots of RAM (1G RAM should do). Extract to your desired folder(i recommend c:\progam files\) and run setup.bat... w8 4 a while ana walla! play 2 ur heats content!

The cnc3 is installled in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts...

don't extract with "here" option, not good idea, that's what n0obs should avoid, and that's why they have problems.
If u use Winrar, select "Extract files..." and choose normal/whatever_u_want folder (+ read comment Nr88 10 times) and run setup.bat. Simple.

i am wondering, would be easier if you made that a WinRAR self extract that will extract the game in after installed mode in the specif directory, program files bla bla bla and have the shortcut you want and the registry entries. i did that to have it in my DVD with Tiberium Wars and its 1,7 GB only as yours.
think of it you will be relifed from thos n o o b questions and the installation process will be more easy and nicer

because some peeps have "download" folder near path limit... so if they extract with "here" option they will see "magic" exraction errors.
Btw just remembered one funny story:
one guy has PC like 10 years, i saw him writing down on paper from one window, and writing in from paper to another window , i explained him copy/paste thing and he was like - "WOW, you are genius"

i suggest u lower down your detail settings (I only left shadows in the MEDIUM setting and others i practically turned it OFF 4 better framerate )in the OPTIONS menu to avoid GAME CRASH... this game will really tests your video card's performance w/ lots of lighting effects, units & buildings are made onscreen )

I unpack the files, run that setup, get a shortcut on the desktop, and the message says "run from desktop".... and when i try to run it in any possible way it says "you must have CNC3: tiberium wars installed to play this".... Isn't this, like, a standalone?? I even have Tiberium wars installed!!! (the full size version).
What to do???

Unzipped it using WINRAR in a SIMPLE DIR 'C:\Games'
Clicked on SETUP ( did not need to do RUN AS ADMIN ) No serial needed!
Clicked OK everytime it asked to install
Once it was finished, I clicked on CNC3EP1 that comes in the main DIR
Game started!
Great job.. it would have taken forever to get the 7.5GB CNC3 Kanes Wrath.
Hope these few steps can clear some problems for some ppl.

1 - The size of the game is 1.5GB compared to the 7.5GB.
2 - You don't need CnC3:Tiberium Wars
3 - Setup is the easiest thing one could do. Just run setup.bat. Mine didn't even last 5 seconds!

One more thing. From the comments I have read about some getting the message that they need Cnc3 installed, they all say they have it installed. If I were you, I would uninstall it. I think Skullpture managed to reduce down the size by compressing the video scenes but they are of high quality. I'm just guessing!

only english. download the language packs
this one gives u the same gameplay as the 7gig dls

I guess that Kanes Wrath retail is a standalone game but EA has made the game check for that game on your computer and that Skullptura has made a file to come by that. Thats why some people have problems and its says You need the C&C 3 Tibirium Wars installed. So if that is true then the retail game of Kane´s Wrath can also work with the "patch" in this version. I´m only guessing now based on what I´ve read since I dont got the Kane expansion yet.
It says in the description that nothing has been removed so that must mean that the quality of the cut-scenes have been slightly reduced or does the languages take up that much space on the Dvd?

Deleting the folder is not recommended because that will not always remove all files and it can also make your computer "slower" because of registry keys. The best way is to remove it with the programs own remove installation file and if that isnt presenet go to add/remove and look for it there. If there is no remove file then and only then is the only option to remove it manually and after that search the registry for all the keys that contains Kanes Wrath and remove them (I highly recommend to make a backup of the registry before removing or altering it). Since I haven´t downloaded the torrent I don´t know if there is a remove installation file in it or any other means to remove the game so this is not for that specific game but for games in general.

This is absolutely ridiculous, so many seeders and leechers.....yet I have been trying to download this for the past 8 hours, I have been looking at my peers in the DL and about ten people have 100% finished and NOT a one of them are seeding anymore.....not a drop of dl rate....guys, if your gonna dl stuff, at least leave it up for others to get from ya for a week or so....that is my usual routine.
If your not going to upload then DON'T download torrents!!!

All right, here's a problem I can't find anyone else reporting. I've searched and searched. I downloaded the reloaded 7 gig one first, had this problem, found this one, DL'd it, and having the same problem. I install just like it says to do, everything goes smooth. Then, when I try to play it.. the splash screen comes up, thinks for about 6 seconds, then forcibly restarts my computer. I can't even get the game to go full screen or anything. I've updated DirectX, drivers, everything. What's going on here? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hah, fair enough.. this computer is pretty new. I play much more advanced games on a regular basis (admittedly on a low setting). Tiberium Wars runs perfectly at moderate settings. But thank you for the quick response.

It´s compressed, but even when uncompressed its 2 GB less than the Retail, so I guess the sound packs takes up a large part (wich has been removed in this torrent except the english one) and also I´m guessing the cut-scenes quality has been reduced a little. I have looked around a little and I was probably right in my assumption that EA made a full game that doesn´t need the first game to run with the help of a "crack". EA has made the game look for the installation of the first game but obviously someone has find an exploit to come by that. Those of you that see the note about the need for the Tibirium Wars installation, hasn´t installed Kane´s Wrath properly, follow the uploaders advice and it should work.

EA and all other game companies require a unique key thats why It wont work with a key "generated" or it could also be that EA know of the keys on the net and have banned them. If you want to play online buy the game since that is almost always the only option (at least if you wanna play on official servers).

This morning, I removed the original C&C 3 thinking that I could use the space for something else. Then, the game prompted me that I need C&C 3 installed. Reinstalled the original game, and Kane's Wrath worked again.

I applaud you gizmolio and of course Skullptura for this amazing upload not to mention your skills & techniques in compressing files , from 1.59 GB to 4.45 GB this is definitely the torrent you want to download , and if any one getting a black screen after clicking the shortcut , my advice to you is to wait for 50 seconds and the game will run like a charm ,and about the setup.bat file, I actually think it was made as a C++ program so that it can generate an exe file and to also bypass the checking of Tiberium wars , what a great way indeed , Thank You again guys.

I agree, games that one think is good should be bought, I buy all the games I like and see torrent and such as a way to try the game before buy (demo is to short for this Imho). I bought the Red Orchestra after the trial (they seem to have these from time to time) and unlike most trials this was the full game, more games should follow this as it is a perfect way to play before buy and avoid buying something that at first is fun but after a little while gets boring. I agree fully with darkzero550 and all others, Thx gizmolio=).
