You may need to configure the settings correctly on the program you're using to download files. If you're using uTorrent, try this website http://www.utorrent.com/setup_guide.php
If you're using Azureus, try this link http://paulstamatiou.com/2005/10/02/how-to-configure-azureus
If you're using any other program, simply search "HOW TO CONFIGURE [client name] SPEED" in to your favourite search engine.

I recommend you use a program called CONVERTXTODVD. It's easy, simple and fast. It's drag 'n' drop with the files, and a simple click on "Convert" and "Burn". You can download a 30 day trial from the official website here http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
