Ashleeh, you can look at the other post for SIMS 2 (about February)
It explains the process of using a Mini-Image and copying it to the TSBIN folder, etc.
However, the normal process, and maybe for this (haven't finished download) is to mount the disk image files, which in this case is Clone CD (I believe) and then you install one by one as if the image was actually a CD in the drive. You obviously need a serial number, and then you have a 'Carck' which is usually a copy of the original exe (the SIMS2 Icon that launches the game) you can get this from the DL or at gamecopyworld and you replace the original with it so that you can play without needing the CD in.
I'll post after I DL it and see what this vers. needs to install.

Well, here's a nice update:
IT says it's 'Multi-Language' but it's in FRENCH!
That really ****ed. I think it should be removed for mislabeling.
I feel sorry for people that use almost 3GB of time/energy if it's only in French (and you don't speak/read it)

My Bad, I got to the menu and it listed many languages and it was on English.
I'm not installing it bcz it's not for me, but it seems OK

works fine.. use deamon tools to mount image 1 and run setup, do as instructed,, and then re insert the image 1 and try running setup again, this wont run setup, instead it would start the game,,, everything in english except the talking and chatting and flirting and so on betwn sims.. all english, playable without knownin french.. thanks for the upload.. great download speeds!!!

It's easy to change the language of a game....
Go to > START > Run... > typ: REGEDIT and press ENTER > go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > MAXIS > The Sims > than double click on: SIMS_LANGUAGE and change it!
Dutch or English or something... just type it!

how do you seed? This download better work i tried downloading another sims 2 game and it didnt work and it took 14 hrs to download!!! I was livid. If the directions for this download are different then the other i might need help. If someone could be so kind as to help me out a wee bit

ok guys i registered just to help you guys ok ok. now follow this and it will work fine.
1. download daemon tools and install
2. open daemon tools and wait until you have a circle with a lightning bolt going through it on your task tray.
3. right click it.
4. go to virtual cd/dvd-rom--> set number of devices --> 4
5. left click daemon tools and click mount device.
6. go to the compressed files and mount cd1.
7. you need to run the setup. it should automatically open the file.
8. mount the other cd's to the other drives on daemon tools when it asks you to insert a new cd.
9. and wait for it to install!

Tu utilises Daemon Tools et tu montes le CD 1 et après tu lances le jeu.

hye um i downloaded the sims but mounted with power iso can anyone help me on where to put the sims2.exe file and it still says please insert cd 1 ???

i dont know about this, when i started dowloading suddenly my MSN and browser stopped working, i stopped the DL and started a scan that didnt pick anything up but stopped and utorrent closed my internet activity returned only to shut down again when i started DL again. seems sketchy imo

hmm... This is what happened for me..
i mounted all ccd files to four virtual drives on daemon tools, then run autoplay option for cd 1.. i chose english then typical install and that was about all i did. all my ccd files are still mounted to 4 different virtual drives but and i have run the .exe files in each of these cd's but it just goes to the same thing: playing the game. Thats because obviously i had installed it. But whats the point in four cd's if they all do the same thing? >.<"

lol dont worry, i just answered my own question. because i had mounted all the .ccd files at once, there was no need for setup to ask or even tell me it was installing and extracting stuff from the other cd's. DUH lol

Heres a thought...If you dont know how to install an ISO/BIN or any other format of games...Dont ****ing download them. The comments sections on all of these torrents are the same..how do you install how do you install..You go into your kitchen, get a big glass of water and pure it into the side of your computer..This will insure you are no longer spamming the comments section asking an elementary question in a high school forum...****ing ******s

ok, so I have a problem.I installed the game, everything seemed to be fine, but when I tried to launch it, it said:"This program has known compatibility issues".I checked the box "check solutions online" and it said that there are no solutions.Then, I checked the Run box and after a while appears a blank error box. I have no idea what to do.I reinstalled the game several times, but I have the same problem.
I have to mention that I'm using Windows Vista 64-bit and I heard that it might appear some problems when installing The sims 2.But I also read on the internet that some gamers managed to play it on Windows V.64b.
Please, if you know what I should do, respond to my message.
