It is because it is about 55 minutes long rather than 44.

No it's not longer.
Duration: 00:56:38. Season 1 episodes are all around 53 to 56 minutes long.
The video bitrate is higher (1355 kb/s) and audio too (160 kb/s) therefore the file is bigger.

I can't believe are still worried about file size in an age when 1TB drives are just £100-£120 online. Thats 10p per Gig. So 2000Mb difference (350 vs 550) is 2p of storage space.

Okay, I'm downloading and if this is the only 500+ Mb ep it will be okay, but why is the file that big? Was last night's season premiere longer than usual?
