In this software everything works fine except DIAGNOSTIC SHADING. whenever I try to shade the model, it doesn't shade properly :'( Anybody knows how to fix this...plz.

I need help. i installed alias, then i created a flexlm folder in c: did everything with the aw.dat and keygen files, but when i try to open it, it crashes and says AliasStudio application file has stopped working, and then a autodek product configuration opens, i dont know if its a vista issue or im probably doing something wrong during installation.
i also have other autodesk software previously intalled, so i dont know if this can cause any conflicts. (3ds max design 2009 64bit, autodesk inventor 2008
im using vista 64 ultimate

Hi sfaz,

so did it work for you? Because I need help too. Every time i try to start AliasStudio, it stops and sends me to Producht configuration.I didn everything accroding to the instal information. So whats wrong? Please help me. tnxx

same problem, alias 2009 its not vista compatible, so i think we need to wait for some kind of patch, hope autodesk do it soon.

i'm using xp sp2 and it doesn't work... i can't crack it.... i did everything but it stil doesn't start.

Hey guys I got it to work with Vista (I am using the 64 bit version) but I am guessing this will work for the 32 bit too. Just go to the program file (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AliasStudio2009\bin\Alias.exe) and right click, then properties, then go to the compatibility tab and run under XP SP2 mode. It worked for me.

i just downloaded sp1 alias studio from autodesk web page.. it supports vista 64 bit, but still doesnt work. its not asking me for the the licence file, it just crashes when i run it. so im guessing its driver related issue. asus eah3870 (video card).

I`m using the x32 and for moments thought crack was gonna work, but didn`t.
anyway after having folowed the instructions i have runned the software, selected utility task and folowed obvious options so now i can read: "product activation has found the hardware identifier for your system this identifier will be used to activate the software"
ETHERNET(EXXXXXXXXB)- ((HAVING THE E and B letters been added to my physical address ref)). now i press the copy to clipboard tab - press next tab and selected the instal licence/and type (paste) option and...voila:
ERROR:EXXXXXXXB IS AN UNRECOGNIZED KEYWORD.

will try to reboot if works won`t return!

Hey guys, i have just tried to install it is done, but after applying the license file it says it is done, but after that page it restarts and comes to the starting page with the options of product config page. Can anyone help me plssssss. I am having a Win XP Sp2. Will this compatible for this OS.

Unfortunately the KG is not working on XP SP3 I dont understand the instructions please be more specific as HOW to run the KG since from the run box it cant find the files.
And after successfully adding the aw.dat to the flex license it keeps asking to repeat the same process over and over.

Please help me out, Im sure Im not the only one stuck.

TO MAKE THIS WORK:

or at least make alias open

-install alias

-Put your hostid (physical address) into aw file in place of "your host" for every line. (file in crack folder)

-Save the aw

-Make a folder called FLEXLM in your C: drive

-Put the aw file and the awkeygen in FLEXLM folder

-Use run, and enter this C:\FLEXLM\awkeygen.exe aw.dat

-The aw file will be updated

-Got to start>programs>autodesk>aliasstudio2009>liscensing

-Choose> I have a liscense to install> next> Install from file> next> find the aw file in FLEXLM and load it.

Should work make sure you did everything correctly.

Hi.
Just go to the program file (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AliasStudio2009\bin\Alias.exe) and right click, then properties, then go to the compatibility tab and run as administrator (on vista) and it works.
At least I got it to work that way, hope you can as well.

Hey guys!

Well, some of you may be having issues with the wrong physical address - make sure that when you reach the dos prompt that you type in 'getmac /v' (the space is important to use) and then follow the steps as outlined above in these other posts. The license should work then!

That was the problem with my installation first time around, I was using the wrong physical address.

Hi !
I'm using xp sp2,
I'v followed the instructions that are in the reedme file,
but everytime i try to start Alias Studio it says
" The application failed to initalize properly (0x000001d). "
can anyone HELP ?????????????
