1. The episode will be split in two and released as two files. There is a good reason for this, see below.
2. Naruto switched formats starting with Ep 54, it is now a wide-screen HD show. In order to accommodate the new wide screen format, Dattebayo will change the codec used in its videos. The new release resolution will be 856x480.

The new codec Dattebayo has selected is H264, which will grant better video quality in the same file size and permit us to do the wide screen release without changing to a larger file size.

After reading the most recent DB statement, it looks as though they are stubborn. They refuse to release in HD format. What they say is, 'We will not release two versions, lower resolution version, higher resolution version, version for people with 13" screens, version for people with a TV with overscan which cuts off subs, or any other version beside the one we're planning to release.'

In other words, ALL that statement says is that they wont listen to any opinions other than their own. =D

As expected.

So... they said they will not release TWO versions.. I think.. what I DO understand is that the second sentence in THIS comment MAY be wrong IF they decide to ONLY release an HD version. Eat it up, people interested in politics.

IMO...D.Gray-Man is on the same level as Bleach and Naruto...still only in the double digit eps but...there are no fillers or dull moments...action all trough the series

OK, to view the epsode without need to install other player or without need to install a Selfish Codec (yes, the Codec of link: http://www.cccp-project.net/ is a Selfish Codec, its make to Others Codecs in ur PC to not Work)

Then, use a descente Codec to play H264 Video Files, link to Best:

Messimo you're an idiot who wants to watch Naruto in **** ******* quality when they can watch it fullscreen on laptop/tv/DVD etc. Dattebayo is one of the best fansub groups out there them and Eclipse and if you don't like them then go to ******* and watch them there in INFERIOR quality.On a side note this ep keeps crashing my comp is says 'Runtime error windows explorer abnormal program termination and if I press ok it goes back to desktop but if I ignore it I can watch the episode just fine and episode 55 works just fine no problems it's just on this episode can anyone help?.
