The ROM for MK64 is 12mb! I know Ninty like to bulk out their iso's (when not on a cartridge) but...lol...no mate, this is for Wii

u ever heard of emulator discs or nintendo 64 games on dvd or mini dvd for the gcube ,i even have stuff like that for the wii i thought it was jus mk 64 with gcos file chopped and buiffed up i jus wanted to make sure so i jus went to abgx.net which is an awesome site bye tyhe way

Why do people type "scrubbered"?!?! Thats not a word!!! When you use Wii Scrubber to scrub something, it becomes scrubbed.

Anyway, I'm using NTSC-U Wiikey, will report back to see if it works.

northern110 u need a wii key first before u can play a downloaded game. Then u burn the iso file to a dvd i use img burn its free.

Can someone please confirm whether or not this game has a Wii system update embeded in it, in the same way that 'Super Mario Galaxy' had? If so this could disable our mod-chips and we'll have to update them again. Please let me know if this is the case and if the current 'Wiibrick Blocker' will remove it.

im an xbox man myself so im a bit clueless when it comes to the wii so if anyone could help would be much appreciated,got a pal wii with argon chip & 1.8 firmware.burnt using imgburn at 2x when i insert disc it wants to update,so i patched with wiiupdate remover & it shows on the menu screen but when i press start the screen goes blank ive used brickblocker on ntsc games no problem,but as this is a pal game can i use brickblocker or should i just update?

I have WiiD, and tried a firmware update I hadn't seen before, that fixed the Mario Galaxy problem. I thought maybe it would fix this problem, but no such luck.
Still getting "error #001, unauthorised device attatched"
Is there anything else to try???
A real shame that no one said anything about the update and that you could remove it with BrickBlocker before.
I just noticed the update at the same time as javakiko posted about it here.
I take it there's no way to undo the update and then burn a copy of the game with the update removed and play?

Unfortunally the SCRUBBER program is not programed to work with 3 partition game iso's. The program cant detect the 3th partition and for this reason "error 001" and the "mario kart" channel is not installed. You need to download the full UN-SCRUBBER ISO

#32 Have you tried the ppf patch (I linked in another thread)?
Not sure if it will only work with the full iso or this too, but might save you another download.

#31 scrubber removes the "garbage" that Ninty adds to "flesh out" the iso. which increases it's size, making things take longer for us. A good example of this is Bomberman, which when scrubbed and then compressed is around 25mb.

The problem with Mario Kart is there are 3 partitions in the iso, and the current scrubber could only access 2 of them. A new version will allow all 3, so an updated iso is needed if you want the MK channel. It is (should be) possible to remove the #001 error though with the patch mentioned above.

Et il me dit mise a jour échoué..
J'ai wiikey 1.9s mise a jour et la wii pareil 3.2
Jcomprend pas j'ai même remis le cd 1.9 config pour redébloqué les mise a jour au cas ou ..
Ca le fait pas..

Works with Yaosm 3.0, the only thing is that you can't add the channel 'cause Wiiscrubber doesn't support 3 partitions. So if you really want the channel (it's just a shortcut to see your friends or your rankings) you should take the 4.4GB version.

Guys this game is fussy. My burner is good but not with this game. try a different burner (the new LG's are all good for burning Wii games).

Can anyone help cause this is getting right on my nerves.

I've tried this and another game and niether when burnt will work. I've tried burning the whole file and opening the file and just burning it's contents with both img burner and nero at slow speeds on 2 different burners.

Can anyone give me an idiots guide please.

Oh and dji8879 this was a problem I had too, I burnt off Mario and Sonic Olympics and it worked the first time we put it on then after that, none of the games worked that I did I then thought it could of been the disc's I was using (as I bought a bulk of cheapo ones) so I got some good ones and all my downloads seem to be working all the time

if you are gettin ERROR 001 unortherised device detected go to http://www.nintendo-hacks.com/forums/t1255.html download the patch and the app build the mario iso img paste that into the patch app then paste the patch into the app press apply and burn the disc worked a treet for me THIS IS GENUINE 100% happy karting >-) >-) >-) >-)

I have Australia version wii (PAL system) and i have downloaded "Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles [PAL][MULTI5][Wii][www.zonatorrent.com]" and unzip to .iso file

I have tried to burn it to dvd several times and after that my wii always tells me it cant read the disc
