Open "filescav.exe" go to Help/Licenses, check "Professional-use license" and click "Open License File". Target to "SebastienLatour2008020748531.reg" file and OK.

Hi,

I'm having some slight problems using this program.

I needed it to recover lost [via accidental formatting] uni docs for me, so I searched the formatted physical drive for [*.doc]. Took some time, but it found all the files I needed and was able to recover them. However, when I try to open the files, it comes up with a different type of encoding. I was using Windows XP Pro with Office 2003 before, and now I am using Windows XP Pro SP3 with Office Pro Plus 2007. I plan to undergo my honours next year, and desperately need these files which include my past assignments and notes.

Would those aspects affect the viewing of my docs?

Is there anybody that can offer me advice?

Any advice will be well appreciated,
