THIS game got a spyware on it. SPYWARE WARNING.... only comes up when you are trying to install the game, then is shows up not if you scan it while you have mounted it.

SO DON`T INSTALL IF YOU CAN.... the spyware aborts the installation.

how to play it with Ati HD cards install the hofix to the game after the game is installed use an mounting program mount dvd2 after you patched the game. and copy the files to the mine dectory and say bye bye to the bug with some movies going black. play the game rember lanch the the exe file in the mane folder note the game look awesome with dx10 cards note the hofix drivers can be found on game sites rember to get the Ati-HD Overclocked A History Of Violence hofix fix patch will work with all HD cards. (got an HD 6300 XD) the file i found was named the patch (Overclocked_ATI-HD-Series) very small file

deadskill, the spyware is probably just a false positive, and the reason that the installation aborts is probably due to you having your AV/Internet Security software running while you are trying to run this...

Some folk really don't know their *******s from their earholes seriously!!!

It is a well known fact that a lot of cracked games get detected by AV apps as spyware/adware/viruses... they are however just false positives, you will find this with several keygens also, seriously Deadskill, I don't see anything wrong with this game at all....

When I try and start the game it pops up an error saying DVD not found, I am using Daemon tools 4.08HE to play it, any ideas how to fix?

after i installed the game it ask me for dvd? where can i find no dvd crack? .... when i put in the second disk the game started to run but crashed after the light house logo intro movie.... any sugestions would be apreciated.

You need to load up the 2nd DVD and then copy all the files of it and over write the ones in the program files folder for the game, then double click the icon on your desktop and aslong as the 2nd dvd is still loaded then the game will load.

Hey,

I think I got this right now.

In order to play the game you have to mount the second dvd into the virtual dirve. Before this you have to copy all the files from DVD2 into the C:\Program Files\Lighthouse Interactive\Overclocked

That doesn't work. Game will start but will pop up several error messages beforehand, also causes your entire PC to reboot/crash during random scenes.

This needs a crack.

@Hazzerz, cracks usually don't solve reboot problems, check if your RAM modules are defective, too hot, too overclocked etc..

Also see if there's enough power to your gfx card or try lowering settings.

CD 1 has a trojan, adware-****king. The game may work perfectly fine, but i'm not risking it.

The Trojan is a false positive, like LesPaulzRul said.
If you don't want to play, then have it your way.

Write dvd1 and dvd 2

DVD1 Full setup

FINal:
DVD2----> where you setup, copy full DVD2 and overvrite all files!
And DEstkop icon klikk and play!

I don't know what you guys mean by "copy all the files of the 2nd dvd"...i only have one file and its an image file...so i'm quite confused...

Confusion or brain damage?
You mount the image (one file that you have ,THE IMAGE FILE) with program called deamon tools RATA TA TAAA.It's incredibly easy.Google tutorials for this or something.

I'm amazed how many people don't know this things.
