I'm downloading it now, I'll let everyone know how it goes.
I think we may have to reinstall so we can use the Season's Crack, as tha's the only crack thats ever worked for me.

there is no NOCD included and I don't know of any patches for Bon Voyage yet.
You'll have to reinstall The Sims 2, installing the last xpac whose crack worked for you after the others.

no matter which expansion I install last, it still wants the Bon Voyage CD

Me too Clopert. I tried everything. I looked everywhere. Now I can't play sims until I find the damn no-cd crack. I mean, I am super grateful for even having someone upload it... but someone needs to crack this and I mean ASAP!

If you used the Seasons Crack (the one that was a little app you dragged to the SIms 2 folder and launched) and still have it you can move "The Sims 2" app from TS2 folder to your desktop, as well as "Bon Voyage" in the Expansion Packs folder, drag the seasons crack in and launch it.
at least, that worked for me

hey Clopert, I actually brought Seasons and have the disk for it.... do you know of any place that has just the crack? I found the torrent you were talking about... but it has all (and I mean all) of the expansion packs and is currently unable to find the tracker. I want to cry.

Hey all
My sims desperately need a holiday! I have downloaded Bon Voyage for my mac but because there is no 'no CD/DVD' patch I can't get it to work. I've read from previous comments that no matter what order the expansion packs are installed, because Bon Voyage is the latest expansion, it's the one that will require a crack. The seasons crack doesn't cut it.
Has anyone found a crack for mac that will allow this expansion to work???

Hey KConnick.... believe me... I am hurting for this crack. I can't even play the sims until I get it. I am pretty computer savvy and nothing has worked. I have trolled the internet... looked everywhere... and still nothing. Seriously if someone has this post it, if someone knows how to make it... post it. Please God, please.

Haha, Lilpepito, I was merely saying that there has got to be some tech nerd out there that knows how to do this. If i knew one myself I would have kidnapped him and tied him in my basement until we all get what we want... A PATCH. I want to kill the person who posted this torrent. Because rigggght under where you search for it, it lists a crack.... A CRACK FOR PC listed in mac games. Maybe I was just the stupid one... who knows. I am really, really, bummed out. I looked everywhere. Not only do we have a sad economy, we get the carrot of Bon Voyage dangled in front of our faces, after months and months of waiting, only to not be able to use sims at all.
This ****s. Someone help us.

yes sorry, you won't be able to play Bon Voyage that way, it's just so you can play your sims with seasons or other without having to reinstall the game all over.

THe Seasons crack i often talk about is found in this torrent: http://www.mininova.org/com/1217777
it's only the Seasons Xpac with cracks and is 700MB or so. If you use Azureus or something you should be able to just download the crack.
The crack is basically a little app thing that you put in your sims 2 folder and double click (like the normal icon you click to play).

i've got the almost completed set (missing free time, kitchen bath, and weekend fun with no-cd) comes with a little extra contnet and will add custom objects for the sims and a list of cheats but i don't know if it's worth it if you want me too just reply

Don't know if this would work or not, im still in the middle of downloading... but what if you uninstalled seasons and just installed bon voyage using the seasons crack... because i could go without seasons its not that great of an expansion pack... don't know if this works or not just thought id see what other people think... ill try it when mine finishes downloading

Clopert, I love you, but I am beginning to think to whole search is just repugnant. I am just curious what kind of a ***** uploads something that cant be used? I know it works (bodyshop) but f'real? Someone has got to find this thing soon, I am playing my original sims game... and that is just... so blech.

Hello Everyone,
After much determined searching I have found a NO CD CRACK... It works, I am using Bon Voyage this very moment. Yay!
Very simple if you are on a POWER PC, just download and away you go.
If you're on an INTEL (like me) it's a little more tricky, but still pretty easy!
Download the power pc torrent, unzip, rename the app -I went with 'The Sims 2 (booter)'
Put the 'Sims 2 (booter)' in The Sims 2 folder, DO NOT overwrite 'The Sims 2' (obviously!)
Now, 'Get Info' on 'The Sims 2 (booter)' and check the option to open using rosetta.
Boot the game from 'The Sims 2 (booter)' your 'The Sims 2' app will ask for the CD but the booter will bypass.

I will let everyone know what is the happs when people start to seed it. I guess the forums on demonoid have been aglow with people trying to get this patch. Thanks to the gang over there for helping us poor saps out. I will keep everyone updated when i figure out if it works (I have an intel)

yay so far it works wonderfully!
The only problem i've encountered is when you go to delete a pool, the red highlight doesn't appear and you can't see what you're deleting, only the +60§ thing

well look .. i open the game to install it yeah ?
than during the instalation it tells me to update the 'software' and the only thing to update found is the crack and when i clic continue it says that the crack wasnt install properly and has to be re-install..... can do anything else :S

marcfesse,
rename the crack to anything you want and put it in the trash. That way the installer won't find it.
Make sure your original sims 2 app is called "The Sims 2" and put it in your main The Sims 2 file.
run the installer and it should find it.
if you don't have the original, chances are you'll have to reinstall.

ok, so I actually own sims 2, nightlife, university, open for business, pets and seasons.
because of the order i installed them i need the seasons disc to run my game, problem is, i lost my seasons cd and im in very rural southern south korea so its difficult to replace the mac version. will this seasons crack help me?
im running 10.4.12 on a macbook pro.

I don't know if anyone will know this but i was just wondering if it was possible to extract the meshes and textures from pc stuff packs and upload them as packages that mac users can put in their games. I know that people have exported the from stuff packs, retextured them and posted them as uploads so i just thought this might be possible.

Guys!!! I installed Glamour Stuff, and it was fine. The icon substitued the original The Sims 2 and everything. When I click to play it asks for the Glamour Life CD!!
I reinstalled The sims 2 and the glamour stuff too but its not working, keeps asking for the CD, I only have the original for the sims 2. What do I do???

hey i have a question. i got bon voyage to work and installed all the expansions packs ect. but when i run bon voyage it runs it without any of the previously installed expansion packs. can anyone fix this or know why it does that?
