& @ slin - r5 means it's dvd version from russia (and a few surrounding countries) but has a different audio source... so the audio isn't perfect quality.

welp guess its still too much to ask for a quality review here? i dont mind all the thanx to the much deserved rippers but u can throw in a small review on the quality! and btw r5 video is slightly lower quality than dvd, sooo if someone would pls comment on the quality id apreciate it,and im sure a few others out there would also 
i understand fxg does great dvdrips but there are a few other r5 rips out there i have checked out,and would love to see the quality reviews on fxg's r5-rip to compare to the reviews on the ones i have already dl,and see if its worth the dl since i wasnt impressed with the quality of the other 2 r5-rips! bottom line only 5 seeds atm! i wana watch the movie soon in best possible quality before the real dvd quality rips are out!

For those who question the quality of FXG's rips, they should know, they are always reliable, and video quality is always on par with axxo, and sound is often better. Don't waste time questioning the quality of genuine FXG movies, just take it for granted, they are great. Expecially for the ***** you pay for them

If you havent seen this movie, I just wanted to let everyone know how horrible it is. It **** so bad that I wanted a refund from the theater. I personally feel that Apocalypto is 10000000000000 times better. But this copy I would rate v10 a8.5 ... It ****s though... just my opinion!

The movie rip quality may be great, I haven't seen a bad rip from FXG yet; but the movie itself has got to be one of the worst I have ever seen.
HORRIBLE movie... Dinosaurs in 1950's films look better.

If I were you I would refrain from commenting on how good or bad a movy is in general as it is up to each one of us to make up our own minds, and people sometimes have widely different opinions one subjects such as this one.
As to the Audio and Video quality I would say that, in my opinion, they are both at least a 9 out of 10.
I finished downloading this movy 3 hours ago, and my ratio is already 3.162 but, seeing as this download appears to be popular, I will keep it up until it the ratio hits 5.

Im new to mininova and downloading torrents but all the movies I have downloaded from FXG are fantastic quality and Im really impressed!
I started using mininova to try and find a movie called 'Young@Heart' and I have searched everywhere but had no luck.The torrents I have found were just ads for other sites or nothing at all. The movie is aparently out in america on the big screen now but was 1st on ch4 in the uk just over a year ago.Its a docu style movie about a choire of elderly people in america and its amazing.

Excellent quality, good audio but like others have mentioned it is low. Yes it does loose sync in some spots but not very long or noticeable.
Too bad the movie ****ed. Should have been called The Hunter... something other than 10,000 BC due to all the historical and geographical inaccuracies.

As many of you noticed, Mininova experienced a massive blackout this week. The problems begun when the hard disk of our load-balancer (running LVS) started having issues (random freezes and crashes). When attempting to fix these issues, our hosting company found some other problems and were unable to start the server up again. Wanted to say this on Book of secrets rip but no more comments allowed for some reason, I had been a fan of axxo rips for a long time and still am but FXG is TOP QUALITY!!! What sets it apart is the inclusion of subtitles in most FXG Rips.
p.s. axxo fans pls dont have a go as I am just saying I like both

158 help can any 1 help me I have just uninstlled nero from my computer and downloaded a new 1 but it was taking ages so put my computer of and every time I put my computer on it is flashing everything on the desk top and trying 2 go 2 my desk top picture and then flashing again as if trying 2 load sumthing just managed 2 get on the net and here but it is still doing
it but not taking me of net but freezing every minute or so any help please

maybe its just the movie but the sound seemed ****py in this movie as if made in the 70s... sometimes the sound wasnt in sync how ever other FXG have been better

Can anyone please suggest a working torrent for the docu/movie 'Young@Heart'?
Was first shown a year ago as a documentary on channel 4 in the uk.Apparently it has been re-released as a movie in cinemas in the US just last month.Its about a choir of elderly people on deaths door. Have been searching for months and need a little help...Anyone who can suggest any working torrents would be much appreciated!!

Hmmm. A mixed bag of responses from people about the movie. What the hell, I have a 60GB limit with super fast connection - 700MB won't made a difference even if it is bad.
Also seems a few people are too quick to complain or make assumptions about audio and not being able to play the video. Usually this just comes down to insufficient software (ie. video and audio codecs etc...) and lack of experience. Have yet to come across any video (avi) that I couldn't get to work or be able to hear... and I use Windows Media Player 11 in Vista.
There's my 50 cents worth. Now to download.

Guys, for the 4 people who have reported that this does not have any sound,
Install the correct codecs ( K lite codec pack) and it will work, or play the file using VLC Player ( google it)

ya know, ppl that are "fans" of JUST fxg, or JUST aXXo or klaxxon, are really robbing themselves of more search options - I like em all, so Im not gonna choose (but i was not happy with the klaxxon version so here i am)
oh, and if I wanted a review of any of the movies i download, I just google it, but in the comments section of mininova is NOT where i want to see that type of opinion, soo ppl, if u hate the movie, I REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR OPINION, just the quality of the file is all we need, if yr not doin any research into yr downloads in the 1st place, its not my problem

Audio: Poor. Out of sync, Narration in movie cannot be understood which you need in order to follow the story.
P.S. My wife & I are Sci-Fi/Fantasy fans. We ejoyed this 'B' movie.
