yes it is excellent quality.
a CCCP program is not strictly needed as i have played it on vlc media player. however, there is some occassional video skipping with vlc, so a CCCP program would be better.

Yeah ive never heard of CCCP either would nero 8 open it and is it possible to burn mkv to a dvd

The quality on these rips is awesome, more so when you consider they're ripped at the same definition . Can be pretty processor intensive, but the damn things will play near perfectly even on a XBOX and those only have 64MB of RAM and a 733MHZ Celeron processor.
Anyone wanting something that'll play all media under the sun with very few exceptions should look into the cross-platform player XBMC.
