GREAT record, after 1st time listening to it. It has some sort of connection with With Teeth but more raw at times. <3 it, great work NIN!

"FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, an audio format similar to MP3, but lossless, meaning that audio is compressed in FLAC without any loss in quality. This is similar to how Zip works, except with FLAC you will get much better compression because it is designed specifically for audio, and you can play back compressed FLAC files in your favorite player (or your car or home stereo, see supported devices) just like you would an MP3 file. "
***? how are those file compress smaller? *** kind of dumb **** is that?

^^ No ****, It will be dialup speed because they are going to introduce Web 2.0 / Internet 2.0 to phase out this current system. Google it.

It kind of makes sense to get it from here. The operator of the site has to shell out big ***** for the bandwidth everyone uses. As you know, with torrents we all donate a portion of our bandwidth.
Think about it. Not only does he make and distribute the music for free, but he's paying for the privilige of delivering it to us. The man is a hero.

ATTN: y'all Probly know,, but for those who do not - this album can be FREELY downloaded from the nin's website. T.Reznor is buying this time!!!

I've just tried to download it from the website, and lossless versions are available via bittorrent only so... no point of arguing about where to download it from ;-)

i tried to get onto the nin site, but its being hit hard...figured i'd find what version i wanted here. i was right

kade6767, what are you talking about?
Sure, adding it over and over to the same torrent site is dumb, but that doesn't add a lot of bandwidth to the torrent site, it's the link to a tiny ass torrent files, and the comments... WoOoaah.
Downloading it straight from NIN has clearly resulted in a nearly non usable website from all the bandwidth they are taking a hit from. It's polite and fair to download from somewhere else.
The only bandwidth that's really being used is our own, and that's our choice, and it doesn't effect you.
P.S. Thank you so much Trent, your setting an example that I hope will carve a deep impression into the way music is spread and created in this world.

Hi Trent, NIN and fans.
I'm 29 going on 30 this month and still really like NIN music. About 12 years ago I got NIN's first two CD's and rocked out with my c**kout.
Thanks for the Slip flac files!
Peter.
