Yeah it came from 24735 to 15301...but now i think it is working fine as it has updated 4 times and days r decreasing by 1 only....thanks after all 15300 days is also enough...but i had love to know how u managed to get 24735? plz i love this package! btw thanks for uploading...thanx a lot for such wonderful package!

Have a look and see if you're still on the trial version you should be using the trial version if you are then i'm puzzled but like you said 15300 days is still pretty sweet let me know if it drops again it could go to 30-31 days but everytime you update it would still revert back to 30-31 days

I have a question though, after I have updated, I clicked on "About" it says that the date of my Virus Signature Database is 20071221, all the other modules are updated (2008). How can I update the virus signature database to 2008? Thanks again. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Just checked mine mate and my antivirus signature database is(20080514)try updating it manually if that dont work wait till it updates automatically and check it again mate.

I'm using the trial mate dont worry its the full program the eset break extends the trial period thats all.

HEY to the uploader...theres something fishy to this app...
first of all, how can it possibly update even without internet connection...it occurred after I installed the crack (and im sure that i unplug the internet cable)
2) why cant I access the "ZONE AND RULE" editor? it's locked for whatever reason.
So can you kindly explain these two cases?

How can you update without internet connection? well you cant!!your're system would need to connect to their servers to recieve the updates. Why would you unplug the internet cable? you dont need to during the installation progress.

Well nod32 stated that it had the most up to date virus definition after I installed the crack (which was BEFORE I resumed internet connection)
as to why I unplug the internet cable, it's just my habit.

run update again BUT make sure you have you're internet turned on mate and you'll get the latest definitions.

I installed the trial version (removed username and pass and chose option to select update method later) and installed the fix - BUT after updating it only says I have 31 days left (i.e. the standard trial period).
Any ideas why it isn't working and how I can fix it? Any help would be much appreciated

Guys, I just wanted to let you know. Before you install this software, make sure you disable any other anti-virus software you have. I had Avast! installed and the two programs conflicted (though ESET does inform you of programs that may cause a problem before installing.) This took a whole day to fix so please be careful. Otherwise happy downloading, everything works

Knightly- I did have 8 Jan 's download (Free Updates Expire in 2050 by TemDono. I had uninstalled it before loading yours, but this sentence re-appears at the top of the page and I have 15284 day(s) left. Is this a problem?

Try uninstalling it again reset you're system then reinstall it then update then let me know pal i've been using this for quite a while now and i've had no probs whatsoever you should get 24000+ days mate.

You've said that before yet you unplug you're internet while installing this IS NOT NORTON if you dont like it then remove it and put system hogging norton in instead.

You could always download the trial and then use the eset break to extend the trial period mate see if that helps

thank you for sharing this software but i have a question, i read the comments above and it seems im also encountering the same scenario. my remaining trial period as of now is only 24697 from 24735 after being installed. is that normal? so it means after 24+++ days this software will be forfeited? or it can be install again and start the trial period from 24+++ again? thank you in advance

can you help me please?I installed eset smart security...well,it works good,it has 25677 days of trial left,but when I try scanning my computer,and watch scan results(show scan with log in a new window) it tells me,that a big part of my computer was not scanned(error opening,or it sais archive damaged)I don't know why,because I installed windows a week earlier..so it should be ok,it works fine .......I don't know if smart security is scanning those files...anyway,it shows me,that i'm protected,no viruses found..i'm not sure if it's true so i thought I should ask someone professional...anyone else encountered this problem?

Mine expires in 24,641 days, and is also up to date has been for 93 days now. You don't update it, it updates itself. Read previous post to understand.

HOW TO GET IT TO UPDATE!
Ok, after installing and patching, I had the same problem as a lot of you guys. The damn thing just would not update and kept saying that the 2007 definition was up to date!
HERES HOW I GOT IT TO UPDATE:
Change your display mode from standard to advanced (bottom left).
Click setup (top right)
Click advanced setup
Click update (on the left)
Click the clear update cache button
Click OK
Your all done!
Within a couple of minutes, mine had updated itself.
Should work for you too!

I keep updating, but it reads the same.
Version of virus signature database: 3428 (20080989)
I still have 24615 day(s) left
I also tried 92, but still nothing

Well, I've tried to uninstall, so that I can re-install it to see if that sorts it out, but...
I keep getting the following message:
A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file:
C:\WINDOWS\Installer\ess_nt32_enu.msi
So now I'm stuck with it...any ideas???
