So Far I Have done Everthing except
i dont understand

1. install game
2. install game update 1.2.0
3. copy NR2003.exe(icon of a tire)its a no cd fix patch for the update 1.2.0 you just installed.( remember, there are 2 NR2003.exe no cd fix patches(icon of tire). one for the original game version 1.1.0 and one for the update 1.2.0. you want the one for the update.
3.right click on icon of tire and "copy" the the NR2003 no cd fix for update 1.2.0.
4. now go into C:/program files/papyrus/Nascar2003. and righ click any where in folder and paste. It will ask you if you want to replace the existing NR2003.exe? click yes. now look for the tire icon in the folder and make a short cut of it to your desktop.
5.this should do it. if not try turning off D.E.P (refer to comments of the other download of this game here on mininova.
6. If you have problems or need this update 1.2.0 & the NR2003.exe no cd fix patch for update, then add me to your contact list in Xfire, my user name is: dudemaar or on MSN messenger: computer_basics@sympatico.ca

nevermind, i got it but and now i'm stuck on number 4 where is the file papyras? i went to progam files and looked for it and it wasn't there. can you help me?

Well I usually go to, "My Computer" then go to "C: drive" then "Program files" then either "Papyrus" then " Nascar2003" or maybe its just "Nascar2003".
or you an do a search for papyrus or Nascar2003 in the search option under start menu to see where it is.
If you still cant find it, uninstall and reinstall. but when you reinstall, make sure when you are at the point were the game asks you where you want to install the game too? You select " C:program files/Papyrus/Nascar2003" or write down the path where the game automaticlly installs it too in C: drive. and later goto that path.

Hi there, i've just installed the game and done everything as you say, but i still can't play the game, it starts, but right after showing the papyrus recing games logo, it crashes, and says the following error:
Runtime Error!

I'm not so great with computers so i constantly get stuck at the no_cd fix step. I'll get it eventually i guess but if you guys have any tips, i'm all ears.
I appreciate the work that went towards this DL because the used prices for this 3yr old game is ridiculous.

NVM i got it running now. if the instructions were written like this, i would of understand it better
1 - Download, mount or burn with ISO software (I use PowerISO).
2 - Install using Serial Number RAB2-RAB2-RAB2-RAB2-8869.
(if it doesn't AutoRun then use Setup.exe.)
3 - Run NR2003 Patch.exe.
4 - Copy the two files in the no_cd_multiplayer_fix and move them to C:\Papyrus\NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. (go through my computer and follow the address)
5 - replace the tire file
6 - Have Fun

OK if you run vista go to command promt in start menu and type the following: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
this will turn off D.E.P Data Execution Prevention. go here for more info

you will also need to in stallthe update 1.2.1 for Nascar 2003 and the no cd fix patch for 1.2.1. Also we use a free program called hamachi to connect via multiplayer.

Downloaded, mounted, and installed fine. Chugging a little on my poor, old, slow computer, but that's my fault, not the program.
Odd thing. The full CD version of NASCAR 4 runs. The full CD version of NASCAR 2002 does not, so I took a chance with this, yet this runs.
Computers. Stupid things.

Installation is a breeze if you follow the instructions above
The game itself is great if you like turning left, going straight, then turning left again. Maybe sometimes you get to turn right - I couldn't be bothered to find out
As much as I like and respect the US of A ( and I really do ) NASCAR ****s
It's possible to get a bit more enjoyment out of the game by driving at Watkins Glen - the turns there go both left AND right, plus you need to brake and use the gearbox

i have everything working, i can get into the game and choose whatever i like except when i want to DRIVE the game shuts down,
i have tried the dep thing but it wont let me disable on NR2003.exe

Ok I've followed all of your instructions. I'm running the game on a Vista system and get the following error:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32 bit) or x64(64 bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

I did all that is in that video and still is talking: Wrong disk inserted! Please insert NASCAR racing 2003 season CD and retry 
Or its that I have Virtual CloneDrive.
