No, you need an Intel computer. PowerPC will not work.

It doesnt work for me.
I have done everything that is said in the crackinstruction.
Here is the terminal text:

mansmag, try it:
--> cd /Users/mansmag/Downloads/Guitar\ Hero\ III/Guitar\ Hero\ III_Crack\ Test.app/Contents/MacOS/ [this command ("cd" will move you to the folder that contains the iPatcher file]

--> sudo iPatcher [this will atempt to run iPatcher with root privileges, what is required.]

--> type your password and hit enter.

I'm having big problems !

I'm getting the same error as mansmag, and I tried LaaZZz fix but that didn't help. I get this error if i put 'cd' before iPatcher :
aarno$ cd /Users/aarno/Desktop/Guitar\ Hero\ III_Crack\ Test.app/Contents/MacOS/iPatcher
-bash: cd: /Users/aarno/Desktop/Guitar Hero III_Crack Test.app/Contents/MacOS/iPatcher: Not a directory

What can I do to fix this?

Hi guys! I found a solution! =D

Short answer:
1)Install GH3
2)Download and install patch1.1 (from Aspyr web site):

3)Download the same crack from other source:
h t t p : / /w w w . m e d i a f i r e . c o m/?g0g1vjaycl0

Long answer:
First of all, its important to say that "Guitar Hero III_Crack Test.app" is broken. Tried to rum from terminal and got "LSOpenFrom***Spec() failed with error -10810 for the file" (Had no idea what to do, but we can surely say its not working hehe) "Verify Local Data" does not work, so what we have to do is patch GH3 to 1.1 and download the crack file from other source, as said above (short answer). Crack it as explained on the CrackingInstructions.txt file (included on this torrent).
The reason we have to patch is simple. The cracker was made to GH3 v1.1.

J'ai enfin trouvé la solution : -) Tout fonctionne parfaitement.

1 Télécharger le torrent et l'ouvrir complètement
2 Télécharger la mise à jour de Aspyr et l'intégrer à Guitar Hero
3 Télécharger le crack. Mais avant de l'utiliser, ouvrir les permissions de tous les éléments (Guitar hero, le crack lui-même), même les dossiers qui les contiennent. Pour cela, cmd-i tous les éléments et dans Partage et permissions, tout mettre à lecture et écriture.

Et cela marche.

On Mac OS X
Install the game first
then download de path from this page

run the installer for this app
then download the crack for this page
http://www.*************/?g0g1vjaycl0
then change permissions of
/Applications/Guitar Hero III/Guitar Hero III.app/Contents/MacOS
/Applications/Guitar Hero III/Guitar Hero III.app/Contents/MacOS/Guitar Hero III
just click (Command + i) go down and there you can change the permission (to read & write)
then open the crack thing and drag the app of Guitar Hero and that is it easy

Crack will work if you do this:
chmod +x "iPatcher path"
chmod 775 "iPatcher path"

But still you have to download patch 1.1 from Aspyr site

i see the ipatcher file them i open the terminal and im not sut if it is ok but i typed the word "sudo " (with the space after as it is sais. then i drug the ipatcher file to the terminal and i get "new-host:~ Lion$ /Users/Lion/Desktop/Guitar\ Hero\ III/Guitar\ Hero\ III_Crack\ Test.app/Contents/MacOS/iPatcher

Heres what happens to me when I run the crack test tho.
So i open the crack test
It asks to change permissions, so I type in my password
Everything seems good and then this pops up

/Users/***/GHIII/Guitar Hero III 19-11-12/Guitar Hero III.app/Contents/MacOS

W00t got it working finally!
u have to change then permissions of all the files and if u havnt it will say lik:
/Application/Guitar Hero III/Guitar Hero III.app/Contents/MacOS
/Application/Guitar Hero III/Guitar Hero III.app/Contents/MacOS/Guitar Hero III
This means that u have to go to those particular files and change their permissions to read and write

Stop asking for seeds and open your firewall, i downloaded it in one hour so the problem is not seeders... I got every mininova's files at 2,5mb/s so if you have any problem, it comes from your connection...
