probly a stupid question but im asking why do people aim for 700mb avi files if this is burnin to a dvd anyway. wouldnt quality be better at a gig or two?

Are you serious? Why do you assume that it's going on DVD? Can't you think of a different media disc that holds a little over 700mb? Think REAL hard. It LOOKS like a DVD...figure it out yet? I honestly don't believe you couldn't figure it out before you finished typing that question.

People aim for the 700Mb versions because it's easy and convienient. Sure the quality most times are better on 1 gig files but to me, and I think I speak for most when I say that the 700Mb files are good enough quality. I usually download the 1 gig torrents when it's a really long movie. In that case, the 700Mb files just don't cut it. ( that is just my preference ) Hope this answears your question

FYI @ o0fiGment0o & others who need it spelled out... "rrpostal" wasn't talking about DVD's (we all know they hold much more than 700mb), he was referring to people like me and many others who burn it onto CDs!!!! which only hold 700+ mb.

I don't know about the guys giving this one 10/10, but the ****en thing needs a password. Anyone who has seen it must know it, or are you talking through your ass survivormad and specsuite. 
The readme file gives you a web address to obtain a password from a website, and all you get is ****.

Good copy audio=10 video=10 I even put it on DVD with 5.1 surround sound and sounds great.
