Fake, atleast, VLC media player cannot play these files.

what are you using... cant get the files to open on vlc, mplayer or the divx player....

It doesn't work for me. I've ran the files through Videoinspector to see if I needed different codecs but it doesn't seem to be the problem. Videoinspector says the files are not valid. Thanks for nothing...

Yes I second what winston8 said in #12.
Picture is grainy & sepia-toned but that seems quite right.
Sound is occasionally garbled, but I also think that
goes with the cinematography. Very glad I get to see
the whole series--is really a landmark effort from the
originator David MIlch... as habitforming as the
'Wire' was, but the language here is easier to
understand, since the profanity comes from the
white man.

Hey u knuckleheads, rename the files the same name but delete the .bc! after the .avi. Your players don't recognize them as avi files because of the additional extension and don't worry about the warning u get when u try to rename them.

Does this file DL fairly fast? I've only just started DL and I want to get a rough idea of how decent the DL speed is.
P.S. even if it does DL slowly, let it be said I still appreciate the fact that you uploaded it so thanks
