FLAC is just annoying.
Seriously, it's very simple :

Music - .mp3
Video - .avi

why do people make things so difficult ?

because some people like the superior quality of FLAC!!

Thanks! :)

with a name like antistandard, one would think you would be seeking things that are not standard. What is more standard in this digital age then using mp3 for music?

Flac is uncompressed and sounds more like the original recording. Its totally free and open source.

If you find FLAC annoying, then you do not know anything about using the web or a computer. Most players support it on the computer and even some portable players. Its easy to convert if you must. All of this can be done with free software.

Thanks mate for this classic! :) :) :)

PS: kyortyor - google "flac to mp3 free" or something like that :) you shouldn't have a problem finding some simple program...

In Linux you can use SOX ( http://sox.sourceforge.net/ ) or SoundConverter ( http://soundconverter.berlios.*** ).
For other OS see in the FLAC Internet site ( http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html ).
FLAC will be the future standard in recorded music... :)
