The french voice is not as good s other languages (Igo design of its software). But it is a very great soft !!!!

In this site you can download POIS and Speedcams for most navigatores like Igo 8, Tomtom etc... you just have to chose the Country, the type of Poi you want and at the end you can chose the type of navigator you using.
for Speedcams choose Road Safety and download the IGO 8 txt format

copy the file to SD iGO8/content/speedcam

Installs OK on SPV C600 but then buttons don't work.

Hallo Mit_cd. Great work. But i have installed it on my myguide 7000xl
everything is working except the gps. It just will not find a gps.
So its useless for me. I tried to change the sys.txt i added.

it just will not work.
I tried an igo 2006 version and it detected the gps automaticly
Please help because i like it verry much especially the maps (east europe)

try this !
1.Get in Settings> GPS, tick the GPS. Mine is on port 2 baud 4800.Unceck GPS then tick the icon in bottom, right corner for autodetect.
2.sys.txt

Just put the version on card no need M4 or PATCH

I cannot get it working! My PNA AIRIS T920 keeps saying: "storage card/setup.exe file cannot be found" My former version of iGO 2006 does have a setup.exe, and it works fine! Can You help me?

Just put the version on card and tick the iGO.exe file
if this ERROR appears " Program application database cannot be found "
edit the sys.txt file and remove this entry :

Hi! I tried the new version as well, the problem was the same. I must have a setup.exe direct on top of the card, otherwise it won't start the application. Where is the IGO.exe in yours,I couldn't see it? Thanks for your help!

Hi mit_cd! Seems it won't work for me. I just tried to put the maps from your IGO 2008 to my IGO 2006 to have at least the maps updated, but it dosn't recognise the new maps either! Do you have an idea how can I update them?

thanks mate it runs perfect on my htc tytn II, just put all the maps and languages you need on a card. once the card is placed in the PDA open the map called 2577 and double click the autorun exe. et voila.

updated maps for iGO 2006 you will find in this torrent :

Salut! Am incercat sa instalez, dar nu-mi vede fisierul *****day.dll. Nici in explorer daca ma duc nu il vede. Desi copiez intregul director. Ii dau copy, overwrite, etc si degeaba. Nu il vede. Multumesc pt ajutor anticipat.

Salut ! Si eu m-am confruntat cu aceeasi problema . Am formatat cardul, dupa care am copiat intregul director cu un card reader. Initial am folosit pt. copiere Microsoft ActiveSync . Fisierul nu il vad nici acum , dar softul functioneaza perfect .
Dezinstaleaza celelalte versiuni iGO daca le ai cumva pe PPC.

Loaded on my SPV M700. It won't find the GPS device. My GPS settings are Port 9, 115200 baud but the software only searches upto 57600, I have tried to write in the sys file the setitngs but without any success, any ideas. cheers

i have a solution for you . Download my new torrent "iGO 8 ROMANIA - without installation.rar".
copy iGO 8 on your device , edit the sys.txt file and remove this entry :
[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"
Now just copy what you need from iGO 2008/iGO8/content... to your device iGO 8/content... [this files is in my older torrent Igo 8 - FINAL FULL + CRACK ( working licence ) zip]
tick the iGO8 application file

Just to make some things clear, does editing "the sys.txt file" mean only removing alltogether:

Also where should I "tick the iGO8 application file"?
And how do I install/run the application?
Do you think the WM 6.1 will not interfere with IGo8? I mean are they compatible at all?
Sorry for all these questions, but I do not want to wast my *****, and as I am very happy with my Trinity with IGo6, I definately would like to use the new version of the SW with my new gadget.

I have the same provble: want to install igo 8 on an HTC Touch Diamond.
What I have done:
I downloaded several packages. I copied them on the internal storage root into a folder named "iGO 8". So for example content is available at \iGO 8\content etc.
I checked the sys.txt, it has no [folder] block at all.
So everything seems to be perfect, but when I click the iGO.exe then nothing appens except that it semms as if it's started (the 4 color symbol is displayed). There is no error shown at all.
Have you got any idea, what this can be. I tried 3 diferent torrent package, different language etc. All have the same symptoms
I would appreciate it if you could help me.

I have tried your torrents as well:
First I tried the Igo 8 - FINAL FULL + CRACK ( working licence ).zip
I downloaded and extracted it and copied the 2577 and iGo8 folders to my internal storage's root.
As I had no igo.exe in the igo folder, I started to look for it in every folder. Then I found the autorun file, which I ran. The installation was successful, igo.exe was displayed in the programs folder.
However, when I started to run it, nothing happend besides the color circle makin 1-2 turns. I tried to edit the sys.txt as well, but it did not help either I also tried to copy igo exe to the igo folder from the romanian torrent, nothing happend. So I uninstalled this one from the programs (I had an uninstall icon in programs), and deleted all files from the internal storage card.

Have tried all that you have kindly explained including editing the sys to get rid of the "application not found". Im now at the stage when I presson igo8.exe the startup screen for igo flashes for a second but the program won't fire up ? Has to be something fairly simple at this stage. Do you know if it will work with an HTC touche cruise (p3650) ? I read that the cruise is crashing at startup if AGPS is not deactivated. Can you please tell me if it will work with the AGPS on the cruise ?

Thanks mit-cd , all is perfect now. Just a small mod in the sys.txt and its singing like a bird. Way faster than the iGo 2006. Only thing needed now is a good skin for 400x240 which is proving difficult to find at the moment.

Clarion MAP370 with iGO8 now is ok, after removing in the sys.txt file":
"[folders]app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"
and rename folder iGO8 and iGO8.exe => Clarion (as old folder) and Clarion.exe

Hello,
I also tried a few different torrents. Igo8 installed fine and everything worked. Then i discovered i had one big problem: GPS was about 8 kilometers wrong. I was in a city, but GPS thought i was in a city 8 km away. I drove a few times with navigation, but i kept the same problem. Now i installed the Romania version first, then the Content-map. I had to change the language of the menu + spoken language. I connected the GPS and........YES now it was on the right adres. Many, big, great, HUGE thanx to mit-cd.

Cand ****esc programul ecranul se face negru, si chiar in colturi cate un pixel colorat. Intr-un colt un pixel verde, in unul alb, albastru si rosu. Daca apas pe ecran se aude sunetul specific de iGO, dar de vazut nu se vede nimic. Am un Asus A696. Any Ideea?

Have installed the Igo8 to my new Samsung Omnia. Installed fine but when I came to run it came up with an error message: -
Failed to open file: ui_igo8\120_200\loading.bmp exiting application
and then I got a black screen.
Any ideas.

turn the Omnia to landscape before opening Igo 8!!!!

Can anyone help me ?
I have installed this application on my HTC TYTN II and when I try to activate, the program starts to load and than my device stops responding. This only happens when I set the sys.txt file with correct gps port number. If I use an incorrect port number, than the program loads ok, but when I try to change the port number from within the settings->GPS params, the device stops reponding again.
Does anyone has an idea how to fix?

PNA-ul nu actionaeza nimic ,****este ca si cum n-ar vedea SD cardul, functioneaza doar hartile si programele cu care l-am cumparat(EEU si MioMap v 3.3)
Daca puteti sa ma ajutati ce trebuie sa fac sa pot folosi IGO8 cu cele mai noi harti va multumesc mult.
Sunt incepator si nu ma pricep la aceste lucruri, este primul GPS pe care-l folosesc.
Saptamina viitoare plec in Anglia sa fiu camionagiu si o sa am nevoie foarte mare de GPS.
Va multumesc anticipat

To all those who try to install this soft on Windows Mobile Smartphone and then wine here that it doesn't work - IT WORKS ONLY WITH POCKET PCs! That is your device should have a touchscreen! There are some stripped down versions for smartphones too, just search around. Meanwhile, http://www.pocketpcfreeware.org/ has some nice collection of legal freebies for Pocket PCs, including travelling software and some GPS tools.
And, yes... PLEASE SEED!

Va roooog ajutati-ma si pe mine....cand lansez programul mi se face ecranul negru, dar intra in program deoarece se poate auzii sunetul specific de iGO daca apas pe ecran. se vad doar 4 pixeli colorati pe ecran, chiar in colturi, unul alb, unul albastru, unul rosu si unul verde abia vizibili (is mici de tot). PDA-ul este un Asus A696. PLS HELP. 10x

Hi , I have the following problem. I have installed Igo 8 on a Mio P550 and it did not work. After a while i wanted to try my luck with another verison of igo8 so i wanted to unistall it. But when i accesed the unistall application nothing happened, so i raw deleted it (without unistall). Now i want to reinstall Igo8 , but when i try to install it (with the autorun) i get a message saying "Nav N Go 8 has already been installed . Do you want to reinstall it " I click "yes" but nothing happens. Does anybody have an advice for me ? Thanks

jayto and others, Route 66 (uk and western europe) works on my Binatone Carrera X350 and runs direct from 2 gig sd card, just follow instructions http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3981232/Route66_Navigate7_v7.0.3489_WM2003_WM5_WM6_Cracked___All_Europe_
Take out the card and the original Binatone software will run. It's slightly better detail for uk mapping, though not as user friendly as Route 66. Also worked on a friends Nokia phone.
