Hi all, the game downloaded fine and burnt to disk with ease ! The Game loads up, intro and menus work fine but when you actually go in and try and race it the 360 pops up with disk is dirty ! ???
Ive downloaded this twice now and the same thing happened. Any ideas ??

to D3mQN didyou use a verbatim dvd disk to burn it on
if not then for my experience those dvds are the only ones the xbox 360 acceptes

mi31 I have used a number of different brands of disk and all have worked excellent ! Apart from some plain white tops I got cheap that where rubbish ! 
. The Disks im using at the min are Mr.DVD . . . I have burnt 17 games already with these and everyone works perfect . . . :S ??

I'm a bit green when it comes to downloading games. Wanted to know whether I need any other software to unpack these files or do i just burn straight to a verbatim DVD???

Gridracer, The Games usually come down in rar files. Just select a file and extract. You get a .dvd and an image file. I use clone cd to burn the image at 2.4x . . . In my experience the slower you burn the more likely it is to work

BTW - use imgburn and verbatim dics - never had a problem burning at 2.4x

hey dudes i have downloaded this
and it works perfet
i burned on verbatim dl dvd
using img burn at 2.4x
i was playing the game on grid world/story mode
i completed all the race's until i got enough ***** to
make my own team.
i completed the usa box.
so i moved on to the EU box, i completed two races on euro box
and when i went on the third race it
gave me a (dirty disk error) 
and now it doesn't work keeps poping up with (dirty disk error) 
is there any one out there that can tell me what to do plz.
i still have the .iso and the .dvd

To the people who the game does work properly:
What kind of DVD's Drive do you have in your boxes?
I have got the same problem with Colin Dirt (i have tried burn the game few times and everytime is the same - dirty disk. I have got also problem with Forza 2 but in this case my Xbox freezes (every time during loading the same race. Many of other games work fine. I HAVE BENQ DRIVE IN MY XBOX (Europe) AND I HEARD IT CAN BE REASON, so question again: What kind of DVD's Drive do you have in your boxes?

Currently i use Philips DL DVD's and never had a problem with burning any games using imgburn. All that i have burn so far works great.

My 360 was flashed and it got the 3 rings of death so i phoned MS up they sent a courier repaired it but it came back with a benq drive in it
i got it flashed and i have problems with some games i have a lot that work fine but a lot that dont they all worked on my other drive
someone told me its because the games are not stealthed i dont no what that means.
Does any of you know if this will work on a benq drive or am i asking a stupid question
isnt it cool that if your flashed 360 gets the red lights MS will fix it even if it is flashed.

Did You send to MS Xbox with flashed drive? or may be You reflashed drive to orginal firmware version befor sending???
PS. I have got next game which is freezing every time in the same place on my Xbox - Devil My Cry 4, but also I have read that Philips DL DVD's are very good for Benq drives - I am going to try and give you answer that it is true for my Benq.

sent it back flashed & they fixed it for free & my label was a right mess cos i tried to fix it myself towel trick clamp fix etc
came back with new motherboard & a benq drive in
i got it flashed but 1 third of my games say unplayable disc or please put in 360 to play with a mad green background.
i know its not the discs cos my m8 has the same games as me & the excact same games do the same thing some even on verbatin.
MS will fix or replace it for free as long as there is no chips or solder tampering.
i hope this works on mine 66.9% so far
is there any way to get my other games to work let me no dudes or am i screwed with them ones

I have a BenQ drive.
Burnt using clonecd and game does not even boot up...devil may cry 4 works fine
used 2.4x speed and verbatim disks...so not quite sure what the problem is
got 10 games so far and no probs, first one here

Didnt work for me the disc is dirty clean with cloth
i didnt use a verbaitim cos i havnt got any

Its region free but ripped by another group so will give that a try once downloaded.
Also found you shouldnt have anything running when burning a dual layer.

I have burned this to disc and the xbox will not play! it shows multi-media where the game name is ment to be.
Iv done this the same way on other games and it worked.
any1 got any ideas?

hi guys.. could someone tell me if i can just download this, unrar and mount the image with imgburn or clone dvd n burn it
or does it involve things like ss merging, layer break values or anything other than simply burning the image?

Hi downloaded and burnt using clone cd comes up like some of the others, dirty disc i first used a cheap dl dvd then tryed a verbatim with the same results they boot up ok and can play the single races but when trying to go on the world mode bang dirty disc? 
.Going to download the vortex one as rksaidha seem to have had some success.

hey guys this works im certain.
1. try using verbatim DVD+R DL discs.
2. try setting your writer speed to the lowest possible -> the lower the speed the better your chances of having a working disc
3. for windows users, try using imgburn, run the auto settings, dont worry abt layer break values etc just use the defaults
4. for mac users download OSx360 and ignore the .dvd file, just use the .iso
5. and you need to mod your xbox before playing
