There are some reports that the crack is an emulation, and slows the game down. We might have to wait for a new crack.
Not 100% sure though since I haven't finished downloading yet.

the game DOES work.
BUT
After playing like 5 races, I can't steer anymore.
None of the steering controls from either joypad or standard keybord will work anymore.
Does anybody know something about this?

Hey anybody getting this problem, that when it turns dark in Le Mans 12 hour mode race and the headlights turn on, the frames drop like crazy, even in low settings. Don't know what the heck is wrong, the rest of the game woks perfectly exept for those races.

I'm using the xBox 360 controller for Windows ..... the game is preconfigured for this device, and the game play and accuracy is amazing.
With the right input device, this game is quite possibly the best street racing game ever seen on windows.

I dont think thats the problem Shadex, cause in the top secret tracks that take place at night the game runs fine even with the headlights on. Its just in the lemans 12 hour races that i get that slowdown. Its ****in the **** out me. Good thing it only turns dark once in the race.

Hi yall.
After i extract with rar, I am unable to burn the iso image into my cd. the cd has a storage capability of 4.7 GB, but the size of the iso image is over 6 GB. Can someone please suggest a way to burn the iso image onto a disc.

For those having problem running the crack (like I did). Do the following:
1. Add the parameter '-novirtual' when executing GRID.exe (Modify the shortcut to add it)
2. If that doesn't work, try downloading another crack (if there really is one, although i tried with gamecopyworld crack and worked)

The game does not launch
If you find that the game fails to start and does not display the GRID logo, we recommend altering the properties of the GRID application shortcut and adding the argument –novirtual to the end of the “Target:” box. For example:
"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\GRID\GRID.exe" -novirtual
This fixes an issue with certain Antivirus software and users running on XP64.

works great great game EA should learn something from CODEMASTERS the graphics are great and most important thing is the game is so well optimized that it runs so smooth i have a Geforce 8600GT not a great card but the game runs so smooth at 1280*1024 and 4xMS settings i cant tell u..but i am little disappointed with the controls of the game but its just the way i want the car to handle my brother feels the controls are ok...
great game from CODEmasters and i have learnt that they have signed a contarct with F1 also hope they bring a f1 racing game on Pc

works great on low settings for me, according to systemrequirements lab i wouldnt be able to run it.

amd sem**** 3500+ 2.00 ghz
1gb of ram
Nvidia geforce 8600 gs
pretty low end pc that plays most top games smoothly such as:-
call of duty 4 (online) best game ever
race driver grid on low settings
race 07 (ram hogging game but works)
dod source
etc etc
the only recent games that struggle for me are Assasins Creed and fear combat.

Copy the cracked executable over from the Crack directory on the DVD to your installation directory.

if you installed grid, there is a folder in program files - codemasters - grid theres a grid.exe in there, what you have to do is copy the crack from the download in tho the grid map, and replace it ( make a backup first, just make a new folder, call it backup and drag the old grid.exe in there )

Hi...Unrar the files...download and install isobuster (program to run iso files)...open isobuster...in file open de iso image (the program show you all the files of the iso image)...select all the files and click the right mouse button and select extract...the program create a folder with the game and you don´t need a DVD DISC, in that folder select setup and install the game...sorry for my english...am from Chile...

Woo, cant wait to throw this at my 9800 GTX and chew this game up.
Not bad for seeding too.
Just finished downloading, took about a day and a half to download.
Using winrar 3.7
Took 7 min to decompress 6.42Gb with winrar.
Using PowerISO 4 to mount DVD iso.
Setting up game now.
Wow, that took a while to install. 15min.
Copied the crack to install folder.
Starting game.
Wow! Even the menus look good in this game.
First race is awesome! Hooked!!!

I'm running a E6600 Intel duo, 3gb 5200 ram, nvidia 8800GT, at 1440 by 900, 75 Hz refresh rate, and the game runs really smooth and never lags even in big crashes. The only time I can tell that the game is giving my card a rough time is in Le Mans when the headlights turn on. Nothing big just slows for a few seconds. Great torrent everything works perfect!

Why can't you guys, just put the ISO into the torrent, why to split it into rars??? I hate that, it makes you have two times the space, of course if you want to seed, as me.

-780i Chipset
-4 GB Ram
-8800GTS with 512MB VRAM
Works grat on 1280x720, but problems come if I try to run in 1920x1080.
I have a 42" LCD TV, that is why I always try to run games on 1920x1080, but still looks great on 1280x720.

Hi folks,
can someone help me out please. i am a little bit a noob. I have downloaded and extracted , mounted the iso and installed. i have copy and and pasted over the real exe. the game wont start at all. all i get is a error message that grid.exe has failed to start. i have tryed to patch it with v1.1 and v1.2 and used the exe files from gamecopyworld.com whatever i do i cannot play this game. pleasde someone help me out.

white widow, usually when u get an error message, its a software issue. At least when the game doesn't start. How did u put that computer together and not know how to solve an error problem? Ether way, mess around with the actual program because the hardware specs are only for performance of the game.

ISO works a treat and its a ****** good game ^__^
Only other thing i can suggest is to use a 360 controller for driving,
Much better response than using keyboard

em yes but you must hawe 2 dvds of 4.5 GB.take the iso file and extract it with winrar than put 3.5 GB on 1st dvd and 3.5 GB on the 2nd dvd.and when you want to instal it you must copy the files from the 2 dvds in one folder and later take the files from the folder and make a ISO file vith NERO.
