Both cracks for this game will cause saves not to work right in some places and the galaxy map to not work. You have to use the galaxy map to travel so you will get about 2 hours into the game and get stuck not being able to travel. But those two hours are cool! Just need to wait for a fixed crack and we're in business!

Well, you will be able to play the game for about 1 hour, until you get to a part where you are given a ship, once on the ship you need to access the galaxy map.
With both cracks this is not possible, and you cannot progress past this point, becuase you need to use to galaxy map in order to select a destination to travel to.
Well the Galaxy map dose'nt work with Reloaded crack same with Detonation crack.
And clicking the right mouse button fast when you load Galaxy map dose fix the map for 1st part in the game, but when you get to your destination in the galaxy, you have to pick planet where to land and that part is broken, tryed many things and its a no go...
Guess we need to wait longer for a better crack...
Tested on 8600GT 256 with 175.16_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_whql Drivers

So you were just, by TOTAL randomness, on a torrent page without wanting to download? OH, I'm sorry, you're just downloading musics, movies and softwares, but nooo, not a game! Man, people worked to make this, and for free? This can't be.

Solution to get cracked install working. go to your local game store and open up the case for the game. Inside is a small square cardboard card that has the registration code on it. Take it out and put it in your back pocket, then place the game back on the shelf. More likely then not even if the store catches you doing this the worse thing they can do is get mad at you. All they care about is if you take the game out of the store, but with this game you don't need the game, just the code. If you are really squeamish about even taking the card out of the store then either right down the code or take a picture of the code.
Once you get home, uninstall the cracked version that isn't working for you and reinstall the game with your new code. This game doesn't have any cd checks so there is no need for a crack if you are using your own registration code.

Here's som info to the crackers. Dont know if you allready know or if it helps.
It seems that the game sets a InvalidBuild(or nInvalidBuild=1) variable to 1 in the BIOengine.inf, every time the game starts when using a crack. Maybe the solution is to make this variable stay 0.

Ok, if any of you guys is really eager to play and doesn't want to wait for a crack fix nor buy an original copy there is a different way...
You can use the console to teleport to locations without using the Galaxy Map - it works for me but if there are some events that are triggered during travel you will miss them - therefore I wouldn't recommend this method - you'll probably be better off waiting for the crackfix

In Gamecopyworld it sais that you actually DON'T need a crack to play the game. You give a correct serial and it works. Has anyone tried that?

yes.. but the thing with the serial is that it must be genuine.. (that means you must buy the game)..
they designed the game so that every 10 days it checks to see if your key (that you provided in install) has became pirated.. if it has the game doesn't work anymore

The map IS doable!
I'm not kidding, if you immediately press right button and left button and move the mouse around a little after the map has loaded you will see the map.
Just tweak around a little... I will upload a picture that allow you to see my map.

It's terrible, even RELOADED-patcher repaired galaxy map only temporary, after my first landing, when I was trying to return back to Normandie I've got M.E. crash ("General something". And than Galaxy map stopped to work again... It was just just my waste of time... So if it is also defense of the game than it's ok and probably I still can buy the game, but if not and it is just a non-optimized game... than this wouldn't help to sell the game, for sure... And btw they've cut part of the famous scene... it seems?!...

I think the crack listed there on the Russian website is the same as the Reloaded crack. The file is the exact same size and was last modified at the same exact time as the Reloaded.

THE GAME STUCKS RIGHT AFTER I CLICK ON .EXE! The Mass Effect's logo picture pops out on my desctop and thats that..! nothing more.. pc stucks and I gotta restart..! btw... if you don't put the crack.. and turn of the internet.. the game won't start.. after 2 - 3 retries (at connecting to the server.. to check the legitimacy of the serial) it will tell you to go **** yourselves

I tried pulling the Internet cable... but the pc still frozes right after I click on the MassEffect.exe file.. in fact.. this time.. after waiting around 2 minutes.. the pc auto-restarted..!

It was an ongoing debate whether it was nvidia's 8000 series or realtek's (sound drivers) fault. This happened to me, and I updated, and then, voila, game works. Latest drivers cure for all.

I am almost sure that i will buy this game when will be here but until this time i just want to see and play this game.
I am big fan of kotor 1 and 2 and this game is so similar.

BioShock had a similar protection and it took a little over a week to crack
Hell, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory had starforce and it took 6 months to crack
It will be cracked in a few days in the meantime use to console to get to planets

I got sick of not being able to do the side quests. So I downloaded a guide and took the console commands above and looked up the correct planet names and matched them up with the quest names for easy traveling. Hope it helps.

How come this torrent is so slow... There's 900 seeders and I can connect to 1 maybe 2... the only speed i'm getting is from 40 or so leechers and it's damn slow...

It's been great, some crashes here and there, but nothing that opening the game again won't solve. The big problem I'm having now is the damn Mako. I land on planets just fine, I can move around and all that, but I can't seam to be able to leave it to run around. I keep pressing the "E" jey but nothing happens... I'm on a misson that I need to get out of the Mako, but I'm stuck cause I jsut can't...

the installation was fine for me, but running the game is another story, once in awhile it pop a message saids that "your game has been compromised...etc" some time it just crash, those are smaller problems, the big issue is that during the game play, after I got the normandy ship and trying to acess to the galaxy map, it froze for a bit and kick me outa the map. anybody else had these problems?

Saved Game Fix
When saving the game the user receives the following message “A problem occurred while saving the game. No game session data was preserved. Please try again.”
You can work around this by going to the BioWare\Mass Effect\ directory in the new My Documents location, and creating two new folders one named "Save" and one named "Config". You will then be able to save your game.

Hey guys. I was so happy when this finally finished downloading, but when i tried running it it gave me an error message and it just shut down. Yep after a bit of digging it seems x800s dont include support for pixelshader 3.0, which is required. Sorry . Dont know if there is a workaround for this, problem is your card is native to direct X9.0b, and it needs 9.0c.
As for most new games, im pretty sure most new gen games need 9.0c now, crysis and r6vegas ect ect... Hope u got some spare **** .

ok, there is a really annoyin bug despite the "workin" crack. yea, the crack works to an extent, however sumtimes when a weapon overheats it doesn't cooldown and it stays locked unless u load a previous saved file. it's super gay.....anyone else have this problem?

Its not the crack, its a problem with both legit and pirated versions, its a bug that occurs when you unlock a certain acheievment (not sure which), and its a problem bioware need to patch, no doubt they will make it as difficult as possible for pirates to access, as they will with all dlc for this game.
Solution: Play better, stop overheating your guns .

I actually encounter a problem with the game : I've played without crashes during a couple of hours and now I can use the vehicle. I can't get out of the vehicle (E or enter don't work).

i played the game with crack fix for the map galaxy..works fine!but when i land on some planet with volcanos and stuff ..i cant get out to the ship anymore!the 'n' key dont work!!

well i have the same problem as farokh13. im stuck at 99.9% two files left.
those are rld-mass.r22 and rld-mass.r23 which are stuck at 99.7% and 99.9% respectively. im still downloading at 50kbps per sec but nothings happening. its just a waste of time. if there is no way to solve the problem i advice ppl to not download this stupid torrent. utter rubbish!!!
