The reason why people don't like rar's is because with most .avi files you can view after downloading just a little to check if file is legit.
RAR is a way of hiding that as you dont know what your getting till you got it!

the actual movie isn't that great. i watched it and probably only nearly laughed once or twice. its not that funny.

I agree with 29th comment.I spent 5 hours to download a movie.So i dont like to download rar. Cos i dont know wheather im downloading a good movie or not till i finish download.
So mininova should not allow movie files to be uploaded in rar format.

What is all this moaning about the rar format. UNRAR it when its finished, never problems there.
rar protects the original source file i.e. no-one can mess with it and so there's no corruption or cropping. Large d/l's with file name like Hellboy are much easier for the authorities to track. If you d/l over a period of 5 hours or more, it will be spread all over your HD. When you unrar, the file goes into a closer pack of data on the drive so it can play smoother (assuming you take care of your drives). Always go for rar if you can and don't fall into the ignorance trap.

Kasunsr, seriously.......lol, you have no excuse!!! If you were worried about the quality of this torrent a moderator just gave you the equipment you needed to check it before downloading the whole thing. Even if you just wanted to know if the movie itself was any good you still would have had to download the whole thing to decide that anyway...even if it was an .avi file!!!! lmao Or, you could have checked the rating at imdb. Why do people ***** about free movies? If you don't like certain file types, don't download them. There are plenty of people that upload avi files. I'm sure you can find one. If the films are higher quality I'll take them however they come. I've heard a lot of people having problems with unpacking rar Winzip 11 pro and I've never had a problem. I can pick any one of the however many rar files and unpack the movie inside and its the whole movie. I just seed and then delete the rest. Thanks uploader I love futurama. Whether this is good or bad it'll go good with my collection!!
