only a fool would even THINK the XBox games could be emulated successfully. LOL
Dheltem, do you have any idea what kinda frame rates the XBox pushes?? you will NEVER see a functional XBox emulator, EVER! only an XBox or X360 can run an xbox game. these emulators allow the playing of Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, Gameboy and other ROM games on the XBox.

Actually XBox games were originally developed on an emulator until the final devkit became available with the real hardware. So, contrary to what cnasp01028 says, it's already been done.
An xbox (not the 360) would be relatively easy to emulate if you have a recent nvidia video card and an intel cpu. There isn't anything else in an xbox that can't be reasonably duplicated that you don't already have in your computer.
wrappers, code morphing, and on-the-fly-recompilers can do wonders, especially when 70% of your hardware is the same thing only faster. (Xbox is old now, and they weren't using top-of-the-line chips then.)
But as to all the "xbox emulators" you'll find on mininova, every one of them (so far) are actually "emulators for xboxs".
It's amazing how switching the order of a couple of words can totally change the meaning. Just imagine if Hulk said "Smash Me!"...

barasawa, show me a WORKING Xbox emulator that will run a retail disc on a PC, it doesn't exist!! go back to where you came from. NO PC ON THE PLANET HAS THE HORSEPOWER TO SIMULTANEOUSLY RUN THE XBOX FRAME RATES AND AN OS AT THE SAME TIME!!!! until you can provide such an emulator, shut up about their existance.

actually barasawa is 100% correct all games on any platform is made and tested on a pc, only a complete dumba$$ would think otherwise, how do you think they make them? on the actual console. Also this is for you CNASP01028 there is no xbox360 emulator as far as i know to date, but there is an emulator for an original xbox which has been able to play the first halo(iso) yes the frame rate lags a bit but its working and will work a lot better with a really powerful gaming computer, so before you start bashing other peeps DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! and to follow up on your "NO PC ON THE PLANET HAS THE HORSEPOWER TO SIMULTANEOUSLY RUN THE XBOX FRAME RATES AND AN OS AT THE SAME TIME" yeh sure there isn't?! thats why the game developers can run the games they are testing on their computer you basically contradicted yourself with post No6. "every game ever written is developed on an emulator smart a$$"

The xbox emulator is called xeon and even though in the description it says that its to slow to play, i had no problem with it when i tested it except a slight lag
so google it you dumba$$ and you shall see, i hate people like you that live in their own little world and think they are right all the time and start bashing people just for sharing what they know

It always makes me laugh how ***** like CNASP01028 always come out with ther fan-boyism (either that, or its pure ignorance/stupidity) stating apparent things which have already been proven otherwise.
A note for such people; do you homework.
As for the Halo on that there Xbox emulator, I've played it. And it was hell good, so much for your "NO PC ON THE PLANET HAS THE HORSEPOWER TO SIMULTANEOUSLY RUN THE XBOX FRAME RATES AND AN OS AT THE SAME TIME"

Anything can be emulated, hell even real life things like ant colonies can be emulated, if you can emulate an entire society, a 733Mhz machine should be no problem, hell back in the Days of NES there wasn't a computer powerful enough to run a NES game (aside from the dev's machines) but later on down the line, computers CAN run just about anything. So for those saying 'there will never be a xbox emulator' you should try thinking before you speak, JUST BECAUSE you can't write one, doesn't mean that someone else can't.

Funny, don't see a single XBox emulator in this package.
