This is a fake crack. the file lang.ini has nothing to do with game load. it simply labels the mai game window. a real crack would focus more on offline activaton

C'est très simple... Alone In The Dark 5 utilise le système de securité appelé Securom (rappelez-vous bioshock si vous l'avez téléchargé
en gros il faudra surement 2 semaines pour qu'un crack valable soit disponible. Ce style de sécurité est coriace a cracker et le mieux dans tout ça : Il ne sert a rien !
It's very simple... Alone in the dark 5 use the security's system called Securom (Remember Bioshock if you downloaded it), we'll must wait about 2 weeks to get an available crack. This king of securty is tough to crack and better : It's useless !

GCW fix did not work for me anyway. gave me an error that some security modules can not be started and when i tryed to tweak it a little it just restarted to ask for serial activation again. If this crack worked for anyone please confirm.

yeah thats ********. if atari knew where to find people that were cracking their games they would just sue them for ***** not hand them ****ing ***** to not break the law. its a completely ridiculous rumor that people need to stop spreading. think about THIS logically...people who have been getting warez for more than a year know that this is not the first game to take this long to get cracked. it's rare but it happens and they always figure it out eventually. so other games use securom? so what??? you think every game that has securom over the last several years uses the exact same version? they update it to stop cracking. thats kind of the entire point of it being there. if they didnt keep updating it and making it more secure it would be pointless for it to even exist.

i tried it but it don't work for me i think because my installation is italian and the lang file of the crack is german... I tried to modify it manually, but after a simil-activation it sais game started but the game don't start

Si sono italiano... Ho esattamente quel problema...
Prima diceva (se non modifico Lang) "file Lang.ini not found" o "cannot open lang.ini".
L'ho modificato a mano (per la precisione i primi 3 richi solamente) e ora mi fa fare qll specie di attivazione successiva (connecting to master server ecc...)
Poi dovrebbe partire credo... Ma non succede niente... Speriamo che esce na versione col file Lang per tutte le lingue se no mi sa ke non ci giocheremo mai (o ci giocheremo in tedesco)

yeah that crack is very good. if you have actually bought the game and activated it with a valid serial. It's just a fixed mini image so you can play without the dvd.

allora ragazzi premetto che non sono un cracker purtroppo xò me ne intendo un po in questo campo...posso affermare che il file lang.ini x quanto lo modifichiate non cambia niente xk sono semplicemente le scritte nella finestra per il codice quindi evitate di cambiare e ricambiare voci all'interno del file! 2 il file alone.exe neanche va toccato xk il gioco non necessita di un crack nodvd quindi il file che bisogna modificare x baypassare l'activaction code e: paul.dll questa ddl va modificata x far saltare il processo di attivazione....cercherò di capire come farlo e se troverò una soluzione ve lo dirò...

Cracckata la craccano... Resta da vedere quale sarà la complessità della procedura... Ricorderete penso tutti i grattacapi di starforce... Certi erano talmente rompiscatole che per Cracckare perdevi più tempo che per giocare.
Il file lang come Stexkillbillg serve solo per le scritte, ma non è da escludere che alcuni riferimenti di quelli in esadecimale (X10 ecc) rimandino a porzioni di codice nella dll paul. Cmq non ho provato il game in tedesco quindi non so se nella lingua originale del crack esso funziona...
Spero solo che esca al più presto un nuovo crack...
Cmq non so se avrà vita lunga questa protezione, se non erro i produttori di bioshock hanno pubblicato addirittura una patch per rimuoverla inquanto troppo invasiva(correggetemi se sbaglio dato che sbaglio quasi sicuro)

4-press next and u will have to download the 2 crack on gamecopyworld 1st

lol petite anecdote : j'avais envie de jouer à ce jeu donc je suis allé sur un site et d'occas je l'ai vu pas cher! Du coup je me suis dit "bon bé pkoi pas"! fredder - from what ive read this is a common problem. this is to do with which version you have downloaded or the crack youve downloaded. Seems like some cracks only work with the multi version, some only work with the iND release. I guess it wont be too long before someone comes up with a decent fix for this. Just like assasins creed, seems like a russian release hit the torrent sites causing all sorts of problems. I got all sorts of errors from one like this to a securom error not even starting the game. Im gonna wait for a while til someone like reloaded or razor can beat this reliably.

I´m posting this comment because I´m playing the game wiyhout any problem and it seems that nobody has found the way. The solucion is not mine. I´ve just added a lot of proposed solucions that some of you put in the several torrents and It worked.
FIRST OF ALL, THIS SOLUCION ONLY WORKS WITH WINDOWS XP 32. IT DOESN´T WORK ON VISTA 64. NO IDEA IF IT WORKS WITH OTHER SYSTEMS.
1)Mount the image with Magic Iso (I used the version 5.5).
2) Autorun.exe (if you use magic Iso it will show up automatically).
3) Install the full game. If it ask for a serial use CAA-7CKP-Y7GC-KC9W-URC4

Try to do this:
Instructions:
1. Copy the Keygen in The AITD 5 Folder to The Original .exe 2. Run keygen
3. Start the game
4. Use as Serial: CAA-7CKP-Y7GC-KC9W-URC4 from The Keygen And click Activate!
4.1 Now You you can see a Message: This serial number was used on too many computer!
5. Click acivate Manually
6. copy the activation request code!
7. Insert the activation request code on the keygen into The Free line 8. Close the ALONE IN THE DARK AKTIVATION!
9. Click Aktivate on the Keygen. Now, when the keygen close, the game activated.

Hey, guys. I was checking this out just to see what kind of problems people had downloading this monster PC title. Yep, there's problems. You're not going to believe this but, you can pick up the Full Retail version of Alone in the Dark 5, the brand new one that came out last year at BIG/LOTS for a whopping $6.00, you read it correct a whole $6.00. Couldn't believe it. So, I picked myself one up. It's at the front of the store on the power aisle in front of the registers on a clearance rack with all the other computer software programs and DVD's. You'll have to dig a little but, it's there. Good Luck!
