Every week since 4 years, It takes DB around 14 hours to do the subbing, after the raw is available on mininova. So It would normally be available this evening, but by the prank they did, you can tell that the release will be tomorrow (saturday).Since in US it's Friday and the Independance day...that's what the fireworks was all about and aruseus1 be serious do you really think they receive the RAW by mail!!!!!

DB is forced to announce that our weekly shipment of raws from Japan was accidentally switched with a shipment of Chinese fireworks. Like all good Americans, we love loud noises and bright lights, so rather than attempting to solve the problem, we are all enjoying destroying the office with industrial grade explosives.
When FedUps gets us the correct shipment, subbing will resume, assuming any of us have any fingers left by the end of the holiday weekend.
To all of you dim bulbs out there, that means Naruto will be delayed this week. Please do not write to us asking when it will be released. It will be released when it is done. Any and all complaints about the delay will result in a ban.
In addition, sending us any links to what you think is a "quality" raw will also result in a ban.

@ all the whiners: Why do you think that DB doesn't take any ***** for what they are doing? So they can complain?... Try and think... they do it because that is what filesharing is all about. (almost) Every other site makes ***** on their sites. Mininova does it, TPB does it... They just do it on commercials. So saying that DB should just accept donations would be saying they should go against what they (and many others) believe filesharing is about. Sharing files without profit for the benefit of all who downloads it and without losses to the company who makes the product.
The reason why almost noone makes Naruto anymore is because they themselves stopped... not because DB forced them to. They are just better at this than any others IMO.

Okay so I can understand that the staff of DB wants to celebrate the Fourth of July. I think it speaks for itself that people should respect that. That's why I can relate to them being angry. What I don't understand is their threat that they're going to drop Naruto. I've heard them say this several times before. This is the very reason I'm taking a course in Japanese so that I'm not dependant on their subbing. Although they do a great job and it's sad that people can't wait three more days for their release. If its delayed because they are overworked, or short handed, that is understandable, we could help. If everyone donated 50cents or $1, they could be getting paid for the labor they are doing.

#68, I understand what you're saying, but I think that asking for a small donation isn't a bad idea. Let's say that they recieve $80,000 in donations (or if the majority of the downloaders pitched in $1), they could give 60% or so to children with leaning disabilities (or charity) and keep the rest to compensate them for their time and work that was put into translating. They could even upgrade their equipment instead of using the m o n e y for their personal use. I think that asking for a donation is a good idea because the m o n e y is for the labor and not the file itself, which doesn't devalue what filesharing is in any way . Also, no one would be under any obligation to pay. If I like the quality of their work, I quarantee I'll give more than a couple of *****. One could also think of it like how Spybot S&D is free to use and share, but if the user wants to contribute something in return, he is free to do so.

what the snobs get mad about is slight incorrect misspellings and punctuation, and blast these up and coming sub groups, that do naruto hours faster than DB, then they complain about DBs speed/troling. its one or the other speed or accurac(w/ as.sholes).

Let me rephrase that. They should, if they were to accept donations, donate a portion of it to top universities where researchers could benefit from it. To all those who are crying about DB and releases: Hey guess what? Independence Day in America is a holiday. That means they don't go into work b/c they are too busy spending time with their families/friends. If you really want to watch your anime, either go learn Japanese or shut the **** up and be patient. Just b/c you're 600lbs and do nothing but sit in front of your computer doesn't mean the folks at DB do that. Go out, light some fireworks, eat some BBQ, get out.
