Yes, you need to mount the discs, but only when installing, theres som NO-CD fixes You have to install, "Bon Voyage" "Free time" or "Ikea" to use these NO-CD fixes...
I promise that all .ISO files work, I have made all of them my self, and I have installed the Complete Pack on my computer, with these files...
One way to help me get the upload up, and test if it works, coul be by downloading The originally game form an another torrent, and then take one of the expansions from my torrent...

Maybe you could make a private torrent for only a seleted few and when there percentages reach 100 or up to there, you then could post the torrent back to us? This way you could seed what amount you have to a few rather than a bunch-load and have those few help out seeding.

I have made it that way, so that only 4 can download from me now... I hope, that in some days, it will come up and be stable...
But, I'm going a vacation, so there will go some weeks before I'm back and can seed again, fellows, but I really can't do anything...

"The Sims 2 Apartment Life" is coming as soon as I get the game... I wont promise anything, but I hope that I have it in the and of August.
I apologize for the bad seeding the last week, but have been at vacation, and tomorrow I'm going to Frankfurt...

Got to 98.9% pretty fast but now it says it will take like 3 weeks for the last 1.1% hehe,if anyone would be so kind to seed,then ill help seeding after the download is complete.

i am downloading the packs i dont have. and the size is reduced to 3.70 gb. but my download speed is at 30 kbps. it will take dayssssss. i cant leave the pc open at nights. does anyone know a way to increase the speed? thanx

Maya123, your speed depends of how your connection is... How to increase it? Don't know, sorry...
And yes, you can install the expansions you don't already have.
Again I ask, does anyone know how to update the torrent? Would be a great help for everyone at the next expanision.

Hi everybody, I have made this new udatet version of the torrent, it can be downloaded at http://www.mininova.org/tor/1669393
If you previously have downloaded my torrent from this link: http://www.mininova.org/tor/1593753 , please take your time to rename some folders and the .ISO files, and then copy them to the new folder this new torrent makes...
The folders and .ISO files you have should be named "The Sims 2 ...", but now they have to be named "The Sims™ 2 ..."
Hope you'll figure it out

I've installed Open For Business just fine, but then this thing pops up when I try to run it - "please ensure The Sims 2 Open For Business disc is in the drive, select ok and restart application" I've mounted it with Daemon Tools and I've done everything correctly.. (or so I thought)
Am I missing something? Because I am seriously confused here. 
I'd be great if someone could give this newbie a little help.

I downloaded this and everthing works and installed fine except when i play i cant open the cheat box for some reason.. i know you have to press ctrl+shift+C to get it open and it wont work. My keyboard works fine. Did anyone else have this problem with this torrent?

I'am having a problem...
After the installation of The Sims 2, I try, for example, to install one expansion.
After it is completed, comes the update process of the files, in which it asks me the The Sims 2 DVD. I've burned the image and inserted it into the drive, but it keeps asking me the DVD...
Anyone knows what is the problem? And how can I fix it?

I'am having almost the same problem.
Install sims 2, and for example try to install one of the stuff packs.
When the installation progress is around 95%, comes the update and asks me the installation disc #4. The problem is, it's only 1 dvd. And i don't know what to do.
Anyone know how to fix my problem?

Don't know if anyone is reading this post anymore... but I have a problem with my game... Everything else works perfectly but I can't open the window where I write cheats... CTRL+SHIFT+C doesn't work. And it really really ****s. I'm using Vista, has that anything to do with it?

the only prblem i'd have is that when i downlaoded sims 2 before i couldnt get it to start witht the no-cd patch, i realy want to get this game for my wife but am afraid of w8ing to download 10 gigs worth of games and then none work, do they need mounted on discs? virtual drives ? im not trying to sound pessimestic, but i give up if this one dont work.
