HEY HEARTBUG...tommy6116 again...i gave u a big thanks for the bday present on the other torrent. BUT...here's my problem. Even though I installed ur file and used ur name (tried in both caps and small letters)....but still every one of the serial numbers showed a "registration failed" message. I kinda of thought this might happen because same thing happened with other uloader torrents for this version. Before install and before registration, i close kaspersky completely and still no luck. I suspect that somehow there is a left over register or something from previous installation a week or so ago. But i have done many searches (both registry and hard drive)and register cleans to be sure no old register keys or files or folders are left over from before after previous uninstall...continued below

Continued from above….Still same registration failed message from each and every key. I copy and paste and even entered serial manually...still no luck. ANY IDEAS, because i believe it works for u and others. Have not had any other problems installing any of your other torrents. If I were reading this...i would have a headache by now. Thanks again so much for reacting so quickly...UR THE MAN!!...I would be getting a headache if i were reading this...and i did drink enough booze for both of us as u suggested.

Heartbug - in the "reginfo" folder in the registry there are four keys..1-default data is (value not set)...2-Code Data is (ID AC E7 10)...3-Name data is (None) and 4-Serial data is (None). Have no idea whether that might help u analyze. Also tried using different IP address through a proxy when registering as opposed to my regular LAN IP in case xilisoft had my IP from earlier install..but no good either. I won't be upset if u don't have time to answer...as your providing uploads for all of us is WAY more important than my little problem....but just in case.

@tommy6116! sorry 4 delay. OK lets come here. easy thing, uninstall, remove all tracks from registry and the drive where u installed it first. Then, reinstall with name HeartBug and keys i provided. no need to change ip or dc internet. (i may not reply soon cuz m bit busy now. cooking salmon mooooohaaa with lots of spices. m watering now. LOL)

HeartBug....After uninstall, Completely cleaned hard drive and registry..no signs of any files or keys left over after searches. Installed again (have done several times now) and still same result when using ur name and serials. Can't figure it out..any thoughts?? Wild or Farmed salmon (i like both)... chinook, sivler or sockeye??....always use lots of butter and fesh lemon as it is being grilled or whatever....hummy hum hum...I am so jealous right now.

Today my Xilisoft video converter ultimate stoped working, i mean i cant register it anymore. I have many serials, and when i first tryed it, worked ok for few days, but today not anymore. So i then tryed a new install of windows in vmware and serials work ok, that mean to fix the problem we must reinstall windows (clean install).

vdsl and HeartBug....sounds like vdsl's issue above is exactly what happened to me. Xilisoft must have some way of eventually recognizing bad serials like kaspersky does. Even with clean uninstall and reinstall (reg clean, etc). Reinstalling windows is not a practical answer...so perhaps HeartBug can come up with a crack like on Kaspersky or offer another suggestion. This is too good of software to give up on. "vdsl" can you look in the "reginfo" folder in your registry for Xilisoft and tell me what the "code" is.

sorry for delay. infact ma xilisoft is still working. I do not know, y u r getting such problem. do one thing, same serial with different names (not HeartBug) or with name HeartBug (H and B r in caps). It should not stop working. lets c or will try something else.

open HEARTBUG.nfo in notepad. u will get serials.

freash install on another comp works fine , but uninstall/ reg clean will not allow codes to work again after it been detected by xilisoft , - block updates on firewall and auto updates - if anyones know where they hide the flag to stop prev install working , please post

Hey Longpole001...thanks for the comment #15. At least it proves I am not going crazy, cuz I have the same problem. I have been scrubbing the heck out of my computer with reg cleans, etc after uninstall with no results. Even do extra reg searches to get rid of any xilisoft keys. Been searching hard for that file that flags the prev install. I Bet its hiding somewhere in system32 folder. PLEASE let me know if u find it. I will do the same if I do. LOVE THIS SOFTWARE...HEARTBUG...HEEEEEEEELP or I will have to hit the Vodka tonight.

Downloaded in 2 minutes, Installed with very few problems.
I have unchecked the Automatic updates box in preferences just in case.
Yet to convert a video but looks pretty good so far.

longpole001 & DaSpecialistX....I have figured out how to quickly and easily get by the flag that Xilisoft uses to prevent registration. If you are interested let me know. I would rather contact u through another way without giving email addresses on this post or we will get spamed to death. guys its simple for those who r having problems with serial numbers. Just open the .nfo file provided with notepad and its all peaches and cream after that. All serial numbers are there Nice work heartbug

If you guys don't want it to ask for registration info after a few days, just block the application from accessing the net in you firewall settings.

I've done some snooping around the registry on my own, cause no one seems to find an answer for this. Right, here it is!
1. Go to Run: regedit
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xilisoft\Video Converter Ultimate\RegInfo
3. Modify those string values:
Code: "B4 D9 25 3E 28 B0 FC 6A 8E F5 B2 DE F6 1A E5 C5 AC 35 46 48 BC 85 B9 9F 5A 32 35 15 C0 F6 2F 14 71 FB B6 B 4B B7 4D "
Name: "HeartBug"
Serial: _leave it blank_!
Of course don't paste in the "quote" marks. It seems to work, the program thinks it's registered. If it will revert in sometime to Unregistered again, just export the newly edited registry entry to a file, and launch it before you run Xilisoft.

1. Disconnect your internet connection. (Strongly Recommended)
2. Install then run xilisoft.
3. Use the name and code below.
