anybody have any ideas on a good inet service. i know some dont like uploading/downloading lots so they kinda monitor bandwidth, and restrict speed if u use too much.
i have att yahoo now, but with microsoft on the verge of buying yahoo, and with billy bob gates gettin all cozy with the top lib ppl, that only means that microsoft, like all libs, doesnt believe in freedom of speech, freedom of thought, or the free exchange of ideas, and as such they will monitor everything ppl do when they get into the business of ISPs, and i want no part of them.
thanx for any input.

Thanks again liberals for making our world a better place.
Now who are the nazis?

HapPsy, I have cable internet. There is no upload/download limitations and I've only received two legal notices from my cable provider for illegal downloads, both were movies.
The service is unpredictable, but reliable.
Good luck.

i am thinking about cable, but i have never had a legal notice with this service and would like to find a service that will keep it that way if i can, i am talkin to ppl with cable here now to see if they have.
and for those in denver, good luck, stock ur bunker and break out the combat gear, cuz the convention is coming.
lol
thanx jwhitt62

Getting a notice of an illegal download from your ISP usually due to bittorrent and not your ISP. There are companies out there that post trap torrents and send a notice to your ISP, which they can determine from your IP address.
They send a message to your ISP stating that your IP address is downloading copyrighted materials, they don't know who you are unless you ISP tells them. Movies are the most common torrent that will be monitored like this, especially during the first weeks of release.
The usenet/newsgroups are a good place to get all sorts of stuff including movies, and there is no seeding so it is safer and kinder to the monthly download limit if you have one but they do require a little more effort.
A good intro to the usenet is here:

cool, thanx, i have heard some bad things about comcast restricting transfers, another liberal blocking access to the world of freedom i suppose, jeez, no freedom of speech, no freedom of thought, no free exchange of ideas, no net neutrality, when will the liberals stop limiting freedom.... i know the answer to that one, when we vote em out, "Power corrupts, absolute power......"
thanx guys

jwitt62 Glad that "Bush/Cheney" in '04 worked out for you so well.
Heil Bush!.Oops....gotta go..I have to go get gas at the gas station. Thanks for the low prices George and D_ick. Mission Accomplished! Now who are Nazis? sure the liberals are....My..look what they did to this country in the past 8 years. If only the Republicans had any power these past 8 years, we'd show those liberals how the country should be run...Oh, wait a minute..I'm sorry I thought the libs had the power...oops, my bad

Actually, you should be looking towards Jimm'eh Carter and the fili-blustering nine-percenters holding the majorities in both houses of Congress for some perspective on your gas prices. They and the watermelon-headed donks before them have been 'encouraging' alternative hippie power by blocking domestic oil exploration/production and Nuclear energy for decades now. They love the fact that we are paying so much at the pump, and they love that their ignoramus collective of useful idiots and enabler-bots apparently knows jack-**** about the relationship between supply and demand too. I'm sure they'll appreciate your thanks.

Anyway, do you volk honestly believe the Pelosi-Reed and the big O are gonna Hope & Change ( TM ) your whining arses into vehicles powered by hot air and sunshine in the "eight to ten years" of The Inevitable one's Presidency of these here "57" U'nited States of Amerikkka? No, they're gonna mandate that you eat whatever redistributed cake is left after they've skimmed the frosting off...And you'll continue to lap up the *****s you've been given and blame the Republicans too. You'll be free to do this of course as you march resolutely to your mandatory volunteer assignments in the new and approved Civilian Conservation Corps.

I have to admit you do nice projection spudwas2. The "Heil Bush" really framed your position well.
Assignment for today - Look for examples of Filibustering and Pork barrel attachments in the Congressional record since 2000. Hell, while you're there you might as well search for examples of something called 'accomplishment' by Pelosi, Reed, or Obama. Extra points if you can tell us which Congress critters called for Socia...no wait...'Nationalizing'...No wait..."Taking over" the evil capitalist oil companies who dared make a profit.
19.Posted by spudwas2 on Jul 26 2008 at 00:46
Yeah..that "heil bush" remark was suppose to be giveaway. Also a direct response to jwitt and the nazi remark. Hey monkeyfan,,,How's that voting for Bush/Cheney in '04 working out for you.
Evil oil companies who dared make a profit? I'm sorry, My bad. You're right The Oil companies are definitely in trouble. We should all get together and help them make a bigger profit. Why should one executive get a "400 million" retirement pension. I'll do my part. I'll buy more gas. It's important to the U.S. economy that the oil companies don't go into the red. Thank G_O_D the democrats don't have the votes yet!

spudwas2: You do realize that the National Socialists German Worker's Party didn't much fancy corporate capitalists (or big-box chain stores) either don't you? They would have been very comfortable with your advocacy.
As for President Bush? I notice that he was re-elected, and that he currently enjoy's twice the 'popularity' of the democrat-led congress...
