NEWB GUIDE: once downloaded extract, if you are on vista go to Control Panel and then User Accounts, go to turn user account control on or off uncheck the box their and click ok and then your computer will reboot. Extract original.exes and then run setup and you will be done

Fermin207, It says minimum system requirement is 1gb so you should be able to play fine but, the bigger question is your GPU up to the task?

I just reformatted my pc and i didnt save the orginal compressed game that came with this torrent.i kept the extracted 1 with 7gigs i think..
I have 2 hd's with the game in my other hd(the back up one)
I thought it would be fine becuse this game doesnt come with any installer etc just like "toed" rips..then when i try to start the game it says something is missing...

Unless you have restored the original exe it shouln'dt even ask you for a cd. As its allready cracked and ready to go. If thats what you did you'll need to get an other crack.

To Ledge68 nah their realy is 1000 seeds its just you are not connecting to them. A way to get connections to more seeds is to go in your torrent client's options and increase the amount of connections you can have per torrent. If you dont know how to do this I suggest you use google. And using the update tracker (if supported by your client) helps alot.
To rccall_rccall you dont need a cd key
To hollowlala try doing a force recheck on the torrent if possible

To Eric541, I thought that that number might have an impact on the speed so I changed it to 20,000 this afternoon and it made no difference?
All of Skullptura's and Toed's torrent's are not downloading as fast as they use to? Maybe I should re-install uTorrent to make sure the settings are correct?

Ledge68 its still gonna take time for it too connect to more but you will be able to have more connections then lets say the default 100 or so. Oh ya and do update tracker every now and then if you can as it searchs for more peers. Me I use BitTorrent 6.0.3 works fine.

Jaketalor, no you can't download it. It's part of your graphics cards hardware. You and Hasan need to upgrade you PC's hardware to play newer games. Sorry.
Eric541, Here is the part that I don't get I am uploading at 100k but, I am only downloading and 5-10k? I have checked all of my setting and uploads and downloads are set at "Unlimited" so it's the peers that I am connected to that have either slow connections or setting the upload speeds way to low?

Eric541, I have tried every setting and nothing helps? It seems that there are just not enough Peers logged in to get good download speeds? I have 6 more days to go! I have downloaded a number of Skullptura's RIP's and they normally don't take longer than 1-2 days at the most? I just have to hope for a good connection with someone that has the settings set right? JMS209, to be sure that your downloading real Skullptura RIP and Files check the name of the up-loader before you start your download. If it says anything other then "Gizmolio" then it's a fake and could have a Virus or malware. Skullptura and Toed are 2 of the best on the web for get clean files.

I just got this game downloaded, and when I try to extract the very 1st rar file, I get this error, every time: Devil.May.Cry.4.Full-Rip.Skullptura\Devil.May.Cry.4.Full-Rip.Skullptura.rar: CRC failed in DEVILMAYCRY4\data22.arc. The file is corrupt.
Any ideas on how to work around it, or will I just have to bite the bullet, and download it again?

I downloaded skullptura's rip, fighted in mission 1 and all was okay.
In second mission in open areas camera is turning around all the time which makes game hard to play. It doesn't happen in boss fight in the end of mission or in platform sequences.
Any idea how to fix it?
My pc is AMD Athlon 3800+, 3GB RAM, Galaxy Geofrce 7900 GS 512 MB with 169.21 drivers.

Yeah doesnt work for me Man.. idk why the download went all fine. I extracted the file to d drive all fine. But when i ran the .bat it was extracting and it said gamefailed to install delete files and reinstall. I will try to reinstall again though 3rd try LOL

137. extract the rar. file to a simple location (e.g. c/games) then run the setup bat file again, this should rebuild the game for you and then you can rock n roll.. hope this helps

i had the same problem , but i have found out the solution
its bcoz the torrent client have shown u that its 100% done ,but u need again start the torrent and let it check again .
i did this things, and it found out that some 150 kb was missing, so it dloaded and then it worked fine ..

You will need to buy a new video card to play this game. One that supports pixel shader 3.0.
soulmates and any1 else if you dont have windows vista dont use the dx10 shorcut as it will not work.

evilneil99 a lot of anti virus software like AVG or Nortan pick up cracked exe's or such as virus's m8, this is well known and nothing to worry about.
Read the comments to see if it works and know that skullptura is well known

Dennova what you've got is fine, you can loose some to rubbish dropped.
I haven't finished downloading this one yet but this is a quick guide to how its normally done.
Create a folder on your desktop i.e Devil 4, go to your folder where you downloaded the game, double click the Devil may cry rip to bring up Winrar,
Extract the files to your desktop folder, run setup.bat from there.
hope this helps.

the demo version worked flawlessly on my computer but skullptura's rip ain't working. Laskecap have you downloaded the game if not i can assure u that all the latest skullptura's rip are complete full version. nothing is ripped. i myseslf have downloaded all the games provided by skullptura. he is a real legend in compressing the game, even greater than the previous legend dopeman. i am only having trouble with DMC 4

hi... SYiRAN. don't worry about the cmd it launches itself up when u run the setup.bat file and other thing u asked about the file size after extraction. well it is actually the same as before the exraction, this is because the real thing start when u run the setup.bat file after that the cmd thing pops up and that is were the magic of skullptura's compression comes into play. don't do anything for 30-40 mins and cmd will decompress skullptura's rip and after that u would have the game to yourself.

The game works fine until lvl 7 that appears this error: D3DERR_Invalid call fatal error.
I've read in some blogs that the solution for this problem is to change the resolution to 600 x 480 directly from the start icon (right clik, compatibility execute with..).
This solution didn't work for me, i hope that i could be usefull for you guys, and please if someone now an altenative way to fix this problem, write it down, i want to finish the game.

hey soyfede have u tried this.....
The fix for the D3DERR_Invalid call fatal error is to set the compatibily on the shortcut to make it 640*480 then later change it in game.
If you have an AMD cpu, does it support SSE2? Which DMC4 requires.
If you have a codec pack installed, do you have any broken codecs that might stop the movies being played.
Have you installed XP SP3 or all the recent updates.
Try turning the shader/texture/AA/ settings down.
check all of this and reply
nobobdy is helping me it seems that i will have to wait for the patch and hope that skullptura will configure it to be able to patch up with his DMC4 rip

thanks for a great games...at first after installation, I couldn't start the games and got some error message but after reduce the resolution down to 1024 x 768 (before 1440 x 900)...hey it works!!! it working fine after that although my monitor is set to 1440 x 900...probably first adjustment need to be done manually...

soyfede, i would like to know whether u r having problem during gameplay or during cutscene on level 7 and please mention your system specs. i have helped many other with that comment i posted for u and believe me more than 60% of them have solved there problem by applying it. crash on level 7 is a serious issue and i think that people with low end computer are experiencing more than people with high end computer. i have visited many forums and have drawn a solid conclusion that crash on level 7 is either the fault of the game developer or the driver for the video card are not up for the game on low end computer.

I setuped the game and extract "original.exes.rar" but
when ? try to open "Devil May Cry4 [DX9].exe"
it gave this error . how ? can repair it ,plz help....

great mr rademem, what on earth were u thinking, u could have simply run the the game from the dektop, the original.exes.rar is suppose to have the original launcher of the game. try to run from the launcher provide in the game folder but not from the original launcher that u extracted if problem continues try another installation and run from desktop only.

to all who have crashing problems:
do not change your default graphics settings in the options menu ( i only changed refresh rate ). When i changed grapics to VERY HIGH detail i had crash when Dante appeared in the intro, then i turned everything to HIGH and for now everything is ok. Hope that helps

Firstly thanks for the download.
However I am having a bit of a problem. I put it in my Program Files and all that, I started extraction which went fine I think. Then I got to DirectX which didn't work. It said "A cabinet file necessary for installing cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid."
I have no idea what that means but it didn't install DirectX which may not be a problem since I may already have it. Then I go to my desktop where the two icons are. DX10 and DX9. I tried each one and they both didn't work. DX10 came up with a message saying it failed to start because it couldn't find some file. Then with DX9 it just comes up with an error report asking to either send the error report or not.

If you are running vista you click dx10, for xp dx9. When the setup tried to install directx in my vista pc a message came up saying it was the same (or older) version that i already had. You can bypass the DirectX installation, just go and get the latest DirectX for your OS from Microsoft.com

to gutsyboy: Thanks for the tips man, but that was all in order and i found a solution All it took was closing other applications during the extraction process and leaving it to work with no other RAM eating programs lying around and doing nothing... (not exactly a solution but a neat tip for people that come up with this glitch)
So to any1 who has or will come up with this problem, try closing everything else but the extraction process, and just chill for a while till the end of the installation.
A fantastic game, and a fantastic rip! Worth every second of the long extraction

I'm really really confused as to what i need to do. I just finished downloading the Torrent this morning and i'm trying to go through the installation process.. As of right now i'll tell you all what i am doing.. i read the readme, and so far i have taken the original.exes.rar file and extracted it into a normal path in the progam files in a games folder. and then in the readme says to open up the setup.bat.. i double click on the setup.bat it says press any key.. so i do. it says: Delete game, extract archive and run Setup.bat again... now i thought i extracted it correctly like the readme says but apparently not.. someone just please help me out and go into depth because i'm really bad with computers.

to Samastis:U gys do follow the following steps in every torrent of skullptura.
1-open directory where U downloaded it.
2-right click on Devil May Cry 4 and chose extract to Devil....
3-after extracting,simply click on "setup.bat" and just relax and sit in your tv lounge or bed and let setup.bat do the rest of bussiness.
4-after it done its work,do what it said
5-now click on DVCX9 if u have win xp and DVCX10 of U have vista

nrohit92 i think the game will run in your PC most probably if your VGA card is not on board,
This is for XP users
just extract the rar. file to any drive with at least 12 GB of free space (even after the extraction)although the game is 7 GB
Then run the setup.bat (this may take a while)
when the installation is done, run the game by the desktop icons depending
on your VGA
ps: There is no crack files or overwriting to do, just follow the instructions and the game will be installed and be played

Games works 99.9% fine for me... a bit of a problem with audio sync during the movies but aside from that its an awesome rip.
also, i been having to play with my key board, I instaled my PS3 controller to work with my PC but DMC4 has it set up as an xbox360 controller so the buttons do not translate right. only the shoulder buttons , start, and select work when trying to play with the PS3 controller.
I heard theres a simple fix for this, i read you simple go to the options (properties) on the DevilMayCry4_DX9 or DX10 files and there should be a gamepad option where you can re assign all the buttons to work with any game pad you have, but i do not find this option anywhere, i am running Windows XP SP2, could that be the problem? do i need ****py vista? LuLz...

Checked it, everything comes out at 100% super duper smiley face.
Extracting it, super duper happy time smiley face.. everything going well.
Running setup.bat, going super duper.. except nothing is happening on the cmd window, but I see things changing and extracting from data11, data12, data21, data22 then finally data 31.. where it all stops.
At 80-something %, it says Extraction failed, delete it and re-extract and install again.
Done this 8 times now, no worky worky.
BUT. Weird thing is, me and my brother are running the same windows, same updates, same specs and same WinRar.
He had no problems extracing the game and playing it. Worked instantly, now what the f-word is up with that?
I deleted the game from registry and tried again. Nothing. Same happend when I didn't delete the registry and tried.
So, please help

I've been trying for a while now, with original exes extracted and without. Extracting the files with WinRar and 7-zip, deleting registry and use setup.bat and not deleting registry and run setup.bat
Nothing has worked for me so far.
Maybe some of the files are corrupted, I'll make a list of them.

Hey guys.U do follow the following steps in every torrent of skullptura.
1-open directory where U downloaded it.
2-right click on Devil May Cry 4 and chose extract to Devil....
3-after extracting,simply click on "setup.bat" and just relax and sit in your TV lounge or bed and let setup.bat do the rest of business.
4-after it done its work,do what it said
5-now click on DVCX9 if u have win xp and DVCX10 of U have vista
6-do nothing with original.exe or readme,whatever

HEY GUYS, I downloaded this game like over a 2 months ago and I got the setup error like some of you, here is the answer, I gave up back then but I just D\L SPORE a few days ago and encountered the same problem, something happend to the files while you downloaded it, just delete the " torrent downloaded by demonoid" info file, then start your torrent over again and it will download about 1 mb of damaged files, but now it really should work, but as faith will have it i dont have a grapich card supporting the game so haha but cheers for upload anyways =) keep up the good work

actually it's very easy Giz's games are always very easy to play, follow the instructions thoroughly over and OVER again if that doesn't work there might be trouble with ur administrator or pc is ****y for teh game,lol. it ain't freekin rocket science.

If someone can help me pls..
1-I extract the rar file onto C:/Program Files
(most of the time is shown an error saying that some random data files are corrupted. I have to force re-check on torrent, the torrent backtracks to 99,9%. Then I download again and another data file gets corrupted. Every time I do this a random file corrupts ¬¬.. In rare cases all of them extracted normaly..)
2-When I [finaly] extract sucessfuly the files onto C: I run the cmd;
3-I've reached 25%, on second try 80%, it says a famous error like this:
"SETUP FAILED. DELETE FILES UNRAR AND CLICK SETUP.BAT AGAIN"
The data files keep comming corrupted and my setup never finish the extraction. How can I download once and for all the perfect torrent w/o it come back to 99,9% and don't get corrupted files? Maybe there's a option on torrent to change the leechers so I can get the non-corrupted part of the files..

i am on vista ultimate ... not a problem when installing and in fact it was very very easy ... a suggestion for vista ppl, i find it better to run on DX9 instead of DX10, smoother! and dont bother about the highest detail on setting, cuz dont make much differences with the high detail in the gameplay ...
hope u guys can sort out the problem and play the game cuz its really COOL!

I have downloaded, extracted, and installed the game. I mount the .iso onto Daemon tools, but I get a "wrong disc inserted" error. Can anyone explain this? I also tried Power Iso, but that doesn't even detect the drive. So, basically everything works, but when I try to play, Daemon Tools and PowerISO can't find the drive, even though I mounted the game correctly. Please help!!!

afrodaddy22 you cant play this as your graphics card dosent support the 3.0 pixel shader this game requires. Unless you buy a new graphics card that does or play it on another PC you wont be able to play it.
Also can anyone tell me how to run the setup.bat file as each time I open it I get a "Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item." message :S

I extract everything smoothly, only the setup.bat, they say: can't read from the source file.

Thanks Skull for this game....For all those who get a CTD (.exe) error during videos try this :
1)after extracting skull's RIP completely, replace the .exe(28.3MB) with the one(15.5MB) from 'ORIGINAL.exes' which is inside readme folder
2)Go to 'gamecopyworld.com' and get 3 things : a) Daemon tools (latest) Pro or Lite - u need the latest....I had Pro 4.10 with SPTD 1.56 but it didnt work....Get Lite 4.30.1...(All the necessary links will b there if u search for Devil may cry 4). b) get mini image for DMC4 c) get YASU latest & copy paste it in Daemon tools installed directory
3) Mount the image & run YASU and click the cloak option.
4) Dont close YASU but instead minimize it.....PLAY!!!! no more CTD issues hopefully

its my video card that cause the problem...
Reminder to all new downloader... if you have same low end video card as i have you should set settings of the game "QUALITY = LOW" not
"QUALITY = HIGH" it will cause your pc to restart or crash when you start the game.

Thanks to everyone who seeded, i finished downloading within 24 hours =)))
Here's a quick guide (or a gentle reminder):
1) Download the torrent 100% (duh, needless to say)
2) Extract the .rar archive and place in somewhere easy to locate e.g. C drive
3) Run setup .bat file
4) Be patient and wait (it took me around 45 minutes to finish installation)
The size of the file grows and shrinks throughout the installation, so please don't get amazed and though something is wrong.

Some nooby troubleshooting:
1) Installation stuck. See if the underscore below the percentage bar is blinking. If it is, the installation is running. Be patient =)))
2) Pixel version. Make sure yours is version 3.0
3) Lag while playing. Try to run game on DX9 (which i personally do, it runs smoother)
4) Graphics issues. Mine is ATI mobility radeon HD3470 (its only a decent one, not a high-end). I am able to play it smoothly, though there's minor lag at times.
5) Game wont start. Compare your PC systems with the minimum requirements. Its very important.

need help guys...i've clicked the setup.bat file, and it ran in DOS like it's supposed to be...but then, after the data11.arc and data12.arc are being extracted, the next thing i saw in my dos command title bar was the complete path of the dos program w/c is C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe...it the only thing i can see inside the program was skullptura's name and the extracted file bar 5%...after that, it's not moving anymore, like nothing's happening...is it supposed to be like that??

Works fine with all settings to low, aside 1024x768.
The built-in benchmark gave me a "C" at an average 36 FPS. That is ok to run the game and have fun.

To be specific, I deleted the archive file permanently from my PC. So that you won't think that I don't know how to restore it from my recycle bin, right??? well I can't cause since archive file permanently deleted from my PC...Btw thanks Skullptura, you're the best gamer.

go to ---> www.torrentz.com
put skullptura's torrnent name in the search section..
without commas, dashes.. and other punctuations..
after u find what u want click on the torrent's name..
u'll see the torrent's name and torrent download locations..
scroll down until u find µTorrent compatible list here
click it and then u'll have a page with trackers..copy them
go back to ur torrents program find the torrent u want double click it, so u'll have the trackers and paste them there..
remember to have the separated!
e.g http://91.191.138.2:80/announce
http://tracker.mightynova.com:80/announce
http://tracker.mightynova.com:4315/announce
have at least on enter space..
after that click ok and there u have it! trackers
and remember to update them by going to trackers>right click>update tracker

hmm, i got a problem, when i load up the DX10 it says d3d10.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

if u are not using vista dont run DX10
DX9 is for xp

after the setup.bat is done u should get a shortcut for dx9 along with dx10 on ur desktop
run dx9 of course..if u run it and u get a fatal error message the sry i cant help u coz i have the same problem..
u can also try replacing the dx9.exe from the original files with the other one..
but i think that wont work either.. i did it and it was asking for the original cd/dvd and blah blah blah..
i didnt thing such a good rip could be a pain in the ass for some of us..

i have found what was that fatal error!
it was the nvidia driver!
to run the game u most have the new version of the driver nvidia!
Download that from Nvidia site and u'll see!

For the bios u have to check the nvidia control panel! in the '?' menu!
i haved that version of the ForceWare but i think u most try with mine,because it contains somthing different in the games configuration!

Took me almost 2 days to download this. Well worth the wait
Works perfectly for me. Cheers to Skullptura who compressed this game so effectively and made it easy for us to download.
Instructions are all given in the #readme# folder.
I extracted the files to C:/Program Files/Capcom/ and there was no prob.
The game looks awesome btw!
My Specs:
Intel Core 2 duo 2.0 Ghz
ATI Radeon HD 4530 (512 MB)
3 GB RAM
Windows Vista Premium 32-bit
