it's a collection of short films from one of the best japanese studio : Studio 4°C

The first episode was all right, it did not lose sync. However, it was all musical. It was really good.
The second episode was decent until i realised it was an MKV and loss started dropping in like my mother in law. So i deleted 2 - 7 i wasn't going to mess with it.
**** you for making a MKV.....

If you can't play a normal resolution MKV/H.264 video, you probably need to reinstall your codecs. Get the CCCP at http://www.cccp-project.net/ and see if that works. If not, close your browser, torrent client, and other programs. If that still doesn't work, well, you really need a new computer.

all serious fansub releases are nowadays in mkv format, most of them using H264 and AAC codecs ... you only need a decent PC (i play 720-1080 HD mkv on my X2 4800, old cpu, with MPC/ffdshow/CoreAVC and my load is only 25-30 %)

Like eliador said. You don't need much of a computer to play SD/DVD resolution H.264 videos (even an old P4 will do). If you don't want to fix your computer to play H.274, well, be prepared to miss out on more and more releases in the future.
