Anyone who might like to seed this link, I would appreciate it. For arkan, you may want to mount the image using toast.

When I try to install, I keep getting stuck at the "Select A Destination" screen. I've tried to mount with toast and I get the same thing. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

8.Posted by mrmatthew on Jul 09 2007 at 13:30

Hey... also having problems installing the no-dvd crack. Anyone out there who can help??? I open it up with toast, up comes the 'to install double click the install icon' window, without anything in it. please help!!! :+

9.Posted by dcskater33 on Jul 28 2007 at 08:00

gr8 game, :) didnt think it would work. to install just open the first stuffit file, a .dmg thing should appear. use the installer to install battlefront. (it will only work if you install it the same folder and all the other stuffit things.) then you need to burn the battlefront dvd toast onto a dvd. then enter the serial number and play. :) :) :)

If u guys are ever looking for a serial number to ANYTHING (and I mean anything: program, application, game, u name it), u need to get seria box-just search for it on torrentz.com and there should be a torrent or 2 for it-then, once u install it, just search the name of the program, game, application, etc. and there will be serial #'s

works very well on macbook pro, small lag on some scenes for a PPC game :)

12.Posted by electric_russia on Dec 02 2007 at 07:07

Someone who has made this work please post a step-by-step that actually works.
I need to play this.

13.Posted by nineinchnails on Dec 06 2007 at 01:31

Having the same problem as mrmathew. opens in toast and says "to install double click the install icon" and there's nothing in the folder. What are we doing wrong. :'(

14.Posted by tommmybeny2 on Dec 21 2007 at 03:52

MuVo has a Serial. I bought the real game so I have one, too. I don't know MuVo works but here you go!!!

DJD0E-5TH14-R814J-3XDN8-MVCMH

Also, I don't know much about Toast but I heard of it. Can someone get me a torrent for it? That would be great!!!

Also, Intel works great for this game. But, Endor and I think Naboo is extermely slow on any computer. Dumb move Ayspr!

Hi everyone. I worked out how to make the NO DVD work the idea is to create a DVD/CDR image that can be mounted onto the MAC.

1. Open disk utility in Applications -> Utility -> Disk Utility
2. Mount the image "Star Wars Battlefront - No DVD.toast"
3. The image should show up under the list of images.
4. Select the image. It should be around 516Kb. Very small.
5. Click "Convert" on the top panel to convert the image into the format of DVD/CDR on the drop-down menue.
6. Give it whatever name you want.
7. Put the disc image (*.CDR) in a handy spot like the same folder of the game.

Whenever you want to play the game, you need to mount the CDR image before you start the game. You can write a short batch program to start both if you feel lazy.

This was easy. I've only used a MAC for 6 months and I worked this out myself in a matter of minutes of running into this problem.

Have fun!
Howie

OH JUST REALISED SOMETHING

I'm such a noob.

You don't need to convert ANYTHING.

Just right click the .Toast file and select MOUNT. It will mount it as a CD. If you double click it, it will mount it as a image.

Run the game normally after you do that.

hehe i'll think twice about making such noob posts.
Cheers
Howie

Hey

When you say that all you do is right click the .toast file, I'm assuming you have toast installed??? I don't have the MOUNT option when I right click... :c

I tried your first method, (with the *.CDR) and it didn't work.. When I mount the .cdr, are the contents like the .toast file? Like the installer but without the icon? Thanks a lot..:)

Right, after a lot of doing random things I finally got this to work:

1. Unstuff the first part.
2. Open the .dmg thing.
3. Burn the no-cd.toast to a dvd.
4. Install the game (save it to the same location as the other files)
5. right-click and select "SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS" of the stormtrooper head icon-don't run it
6. open contents
7. open mac os
8. Double click on the black box---voila

(I made an alias of the black box to save time)

easy as pie

25.Posted by shredgnar on Mar 09 2008 at 14:54

When I attempt to mount the dmg into an image, even using disk utility, it doesnt work claiming theres no mountable file systems. I tried converting it to a cdr but it gives me the same message. I tried creating a new disk image and copying the files and that didnt work either. Its not giving me the nocd.toast that other people were talking about, because I dont have titanium toast. What should I do?

26.Posted by hackonamac on Mar 15 2008 at 19:26

does multiplayer work? yes or no

27.Posted by shredgnar on Mar 16 2008 at 18:59

Ok so Ive tried creating the .cdr and using it, but it still says insert the dvd. I tried burning the no dvd.toast to a cd, which didnt work, and i tried to open the files from the install thing, but there was no file called mac os, so that didnt work either. PLEASE HEEELP PLEASE HEEELP

36.Posted by DYLman2515 on May 05 2008 at 07:15

This game works, all games from softzone do, the ways to get them working are a little obscure though, but i had no problems with this game, you shouldnt have to burn the image onto a disk though, at least i didnt do that, i just mounted the image and away i went, didnt even ask me for a CD key which was strange..:S

oh well worked for me

im seedinggg aswell

37.Posted by tommmybeny2 on May 10 2008 at 23:28

This contains a no DVD patch?

If it does, can someone upload THAT only?

I already hav the game so I don't wanna download the whole thing again.

38.Posted by drkessence on Jun 05 2008 at 04:44

Okay, so here is the stupid person's guide to doing this. Basically, put all of the .sitx files into a single folder. Use stuffit to extract the .dmg file. From there, press Control + Click on the .dmg file and open it in Disk Utility. Click on the file and then press the button at the top that says Open. It will create a couple new icons. They should be: Serial SW-BF.rtf, Star Wars Battlefront - No DVD.toast, and Star Wars Battlefront.dmg. I couldn't get the .toast file to open, but the .dmg worked fine. It will ask for the CD once you try to run the game. WARNING, you DO need the disk to play if you use the .dmg file so you will need to make one.

39.Posted by drkessence on Jun 05 2008 at 04:52

Otherwise you can use Disk Utility to turn the Star Wars Battlefront - No DVD.toast into a CDR file

40.Posted by drkessence on Jun 05 2008 at 08:50

Okay, here is an even easier version. Once you've gotten to the point where you have the 3 files, Control Click on the .toast file and open it in Disk Utility. Then put in a blank DVD. Select the file and then click burn. Feel free to erase everything you just put on your computer. Put the disk in and then load the installer. It should work exactly like a normal game DVD. However, the CD key that was supplied here won't let you play online for some reason. I keep getting a message that says that the CD key won't allow me to play online so if someone has a different one then please post it.

41.Posted by ledzeppelith on Jun 09 2008 at 06:14

Ok I have both images mounted (the install and the toast) so I click on game and then enter serial number and it takes it then the game never loads. So I quit the game and then click on the icon again and it never loads. MY computer is fast though I'm running a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

42.Posted by padwon on Jun 09 2008 at 17:33

43.Posted by padwon on Jun 09 2008 at 19:02
