fixing global warming - democrat party style

http://michellemalkin.com/2008/08/13/nan-and-the-big-wind-boone-doggle/

and they tell us that we need to do without to "fix" the planet!!
when are they gonna do without something?

Thanks for the link, Hap. I think ol Boone Pickens is missing the fact that a switch to natural gas as a primary fuel source will be a very costly endeavor.

Vehicles retrofitted to natural gas lose power compared to their performance on gasoline but it cannot be intergrated into the current fuel distribution system since it requires special tanks like propane. Jets, semis, helicopters and heavy equipment need the abundance and power of of oil.

4.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 15 2008 at 01:41

I grew up in a region where ethanol blends, natural gas, propane and diesel have been in heavy use for years. I was an "Energy Brat" like some people are Army or Navy brats. My father worked for an energy company and I grew up in company housing near a natural gas compressor station. I have been in contact with these technologies all my life and believe some of them are very useful in specific applications.

I cannot say the same for those rediculous power pinwheels the dems and euros are all hard over. Oil is still the best core source of energy. We need it for planes, plastic and pretty much everything that makes a modern life worth living.

5.Posted by HapPsy on Aug 15 2008 at 02:31

exactly...
my biggest thing is that we are keeping the price of oil high by restricting supply, and because of that we are sending $700 billion per year (according to Boone) to countries that fund terrorism, and other countries like china and india are sending them even more, and since oil is roughly 80% of their economy, we are not only financing their economy, but we are also funding terrorism around the world. and we can thank the libs for forcing us to fund terrorism. but then, why would they mind that the usa is funding the destruction of the world, it's what their goal is so they are just being successful. and too many dam repubs are helping them.

6.Posted by whiskeytango on Aug 15 2008 at 03:58

its always fun to watch a bunch of uneducated ****** talk about engineering :)

7.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 15 2008 at 04:19

If you have something substantial to add, bring it on. It would be a nice change of pace from your usual venom.

Its always amusing to watch a lib try to talk about reality.

The thing I like so much about you dittoheads who download Rush's show through bittorrent . . . you're stealing Rush's ****. He'd hate you. He'd want to sue you. You're taking away ***** he could be spending on oxycontin and child *** slaves in the Carribean. Yet you adore him.

9.Posted by Skum_Chiken on Aug 15 2008 at 12:55

hmmm... obama did illegal drugs, yet you numbskulls adore him... i smell hypocrisy

10.Posted by raleighrealtor on Aug 15 2008 at 14:40

Agreeing with someone's point of view or having the same world view does not imply adoration. On the other hand, the swooning soul with melting eyes, while fervently applauding vapid "canned" speeches, does make one wonder if behind those twinkling eyes is a "brain full of mush."

11.Posted by linuxlh on Aug 15 2008 at 15:38

If it's not for Rush (and other right-wing media), I wouldn't know there was so much fun at Edwards Campaign.

12.Posted by linuxlh on Aug 15 2008 at 15:39

If it's not for Rush, I would think Sakaashvili is another Sadam. (Although he's totally out-smarted by Putin. It seems.)

13.Posted by linuxlh on Aug 15 2008 at 15:42

If it's not for Rush, I would hardly notice Pelosi sold a few thousands copies of her wonderful book, only!

14.Posted by linuxlh on Aug 15 2008 at 15:56

The left can call the dittoheads names, 'till the day their leader has a love child after jobs done in the oval office. That's how to save the planet.

"I grew up in a region where ethanol blends, natural gas, propane and diesel have been in heavy use for years..."

This little fact may go some way in explaining your inability to think without help from Republican propaganda peddlers like rush limbaugh.

WoW, 15s for a download...
It cannot get better then that!

Thanks for seeding

I should give your IPs to Rush...see if he likes you stealing his stuff.

He would say, "iiIIiIIIIII.....EL RUSHHHBO......deserve your ***** that you have stolen for MeeeEEE...EL RUSHBO!....I am seldom..if ever wrong folks...."

I used to listen to him before the oxycontin...now he is a conceited ****head NeoCon puppet....he even admits to it sometimes.....

18.Posted by Ne007 on Aug 15 2008 at 16:41

"hmmm... obama did illegal drugs, yet you numbskulls adore him... i smell hypocrisy"

What's so wrong about that? It's the part about being a bumbling ****** that people didn't like about Bush. I know Clinton lies about smoking weed, but I like the fact that he smoked it...shows he was human...shows he didn't smoke too much of it to **** up his brain also......

This is coming from a goldwater conservative. I just can't stand Rush and his defending the NeoCons and the NeoCon agenda....which is to dismantle the U.S. constitution and it's sovereignty to pave the way for a global society.

19.Posted by monkeyfan on Aug 15 2008 at 17:09

Hey spyboy, what's a Clinton blowing Goldwater paleo-con like you doing trolling around Mininova if you've got such a hard-on about hypocrisy?

Anyway, methinks it's pretty obvious you haven't the slightest clue what a neo-con is.

Booga! Booga! The vast neo-conservative agenda is gonna get ya! And your little dog too...

You better recharge your tin-foil hat cause I'm gonna requisition me some satellite mind wipe time from Lord Rove for ya. Once our black helicopters get a fix on your GPS position you, my Goldwater Clintonian nemesis, are so ****ed

Bwoooohahahahaha!

20.Posted by monkeyfan on Aug 15 2008 at 17:17

Many thanks for your work capping and uploading CF Rush Jwhitt and extra thanks to all the seeders.

These are consistently the fastest torrents I've had the pleasure of downloading on Mininova.

all the ppl come in here and dawg on Rush for doing drugs, it's the first thing they talk about and sometimes the only thing.

my guess is, most of the people in this country have done drugs at some point... hold on .... *inhale .. holding breath* .... *cough cough cough* ... oops, big hit. they sound like they are suggesting that only people who haven't done drugs are entitled to freedom of speech, and if that's what they are trying to achieve then there's gonna be a whole lotta silence goin on in this country, and around the world.

of course i$lamic countries will enjoy freedom of speech because drugs are forbidden, as is alcohol, topless dancing, and anything else remotely fun. so if liberals have their way only mu$lims can speak, and since all they do is tell others what is right and wrong everybody else that can't speak must submit. that is fitting since I$lam translated means submission.

HapPsy & monkeyfan - You guys are clearly having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have. :)

linuxlh - thanks for the comments, it is good to hear a Russian perspective. Svaha!

23.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 15 2008 at 23:55

Ne007 - "I know Clinton lies about smoking weed, but I like the fact that he smoked it...shows he was human."

No, it shows he was a liar. What is with the persistent liberal infatuation with Slick Willie. The guy would $crew mud if he thought it would wiggle.

Ktomktom - According to your argument, living with some of the technologies that the greens are quixotically pursuing has driven me to become a conservative automaton. I'm sure Saint Al would be proud of your grasp of the issues. You have also clearly missed the uniformity of the dissenting posts from our drive-by commentators and the clear individuality of the conservatives here.

24.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 16 2008 at 00:06

Opps, Sorry linuxlh, misread the flag.

25.Posted by HapPsy on Aug 16 2008 at 00:56

HEY CHEESEMULE

so just what the **** is wrong with ****ing mud anyways dam.it.

:D

26.Posted by HapPsy on Aug 16 2008 at 00:58

dam.it

i spelled it f_*_*_k and it still picked it up, these anti-freedom of speech libs pick up on everything in their quest for conquering those that desire to say what they want.

27.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 16 2008 at 01:24

:)

It's ironic that a site that offers so many torrents of the latest in Hollywood torture **** is so intolerant of colourful language.

28.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 16 2008 at 01:25

LOL

**** = ****

29.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 16 2008 at 01:26

This is getting silly.

**** = p * 0 * r * n

30.Posted by HapPsy on Aug 16 2008 at 02:15

yep
you can watch somebody f_u-c_k but you can't talk about it, sometimes these libs are difficult to figure out.

31.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 16 2008 at 03:04

Especially the vegetarians against the death penalty who fanatically oppose simply debating the issue of state-funded late term abortion, regardless of circumstances.

32.Posted by HapPsy on Aug 16 2008 at 03:44

yep, that's a thinker.

i don't care how much acid/ecstacy/weed/cocain/heroin/crack/meth you ever do, you'll never truly understand that one.

33.Posted by HapPsy on Aug 16 2008 at 03:44

No, it doesn't. Read it again. What it means is that all the chemicals you were exposed to as a child turned you into a numbnut. Using words such as "quixotically" or "automaton" do not make you seem terribly clever if you have basic comprehension problems.

cheesemule @22;

Only if it was up to leftardians.

:)

38.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 17 2008 at 11:13

Ktomktom, your tenuous grasp of vocabulary and technology reveals you for the lib that you are.

I believe the part, "has driven me to become a conservative automaton" addresses your claim that I have had to seek guidance due to my hapless state inflicted by the dreaded "chemicals". Another word you language n@zis have twisted beyond recognition to serve the green hoax.

"quixotically" was an intentional jab at wind power. You could have pointed out the fact that Quixote attacked windmills but you chose to stick to the low road. I would point out the remaining subtleties for you but it is clear it would be a waste of time. You clearly need to read more, I suggest you start with a dictionary.

39.Posted by cheesemule on Aug 17 2008 at 11:22

monkeyfan,

Amen to that.

I can imagine the future Presidential speeches if the Dems have their way:

"Rejoice Citizens! Your monthly ration of merriment has been increased to 20 units of mirth! Qualified individuals may purchase more units of mirth through our Mutual Contentment Assurance Exchange. With your help, we can stop the threat of excessive merriment. Be well, Citizens! The Future is yours!"
