You can open .daa file with a software called "Power Iso". You can find it in this torrent site for sure.

does it does not iclude RSE (Realistic Sound Engine) bcuz the title says it does but in the bottom of the main comment it says that it doesnt

To answer my own question, yes it does. RSE for drums, bass, and guitars.

i downloaded it and it works great but i have a little promlem... certain sounds (clarinet for example) are muted when im using the program through my speakers, but not when i listen through my headphones. its not a huge problem but its inconvenient. anyone have a solution?

I can't get PowerIso to open this. it keeps telling me 'The File Format Is Invalid Or Unsupported'
This is definately a .daa so i don't know why it won't work.
Has anyone got any idea's?

Warning: Compression formats such as ".daa" or ".uif" are almost guranteed to contain viruses or trojans. Think! First, you need an uncommon program to open the files - most virus checkers can't open them and check them out. Also the compressor itself is often hacked because you have to download it off the net. Finally you have messages here were people are coming out and saying look, the program is infected. The best thing to do is boycott .daa and .uif.
Ask yourself: Why not just use zip? To save 1mb on a 100 mb download? Please.
Ask yourself: Why are there 30 torrents out there for guitar pro 5 and they ALL use .daa or .uif? None of them use .zip? Why?
Boycott .UIF and .DAA. You have been warned.

When I Mount It With Power ISO it gives an error "This file Format is Invalid Or nsupported".
Any suggestions anyone??????

Direct Access Archive, or DAA, is a proprietary file format developed by PowerISO Computing for disk image files. The format supports features such as compression, password protection, and splitting to multiple volumes. Because of its proprietary nature, popular disk image mounting programs such as Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools currently do not support the mounting of DAA images.
Currently there is no published information about the format. Among mainstream applications, it can be opened or converted with PowerISO and MagicISO. Various free open source packages are also available to convert DAA to ISO images.

People having problems extracting the file, I had the same problem with Power ISO in the past, and this is what worked for me:
What you have to do is extract all files to a folder, say onto your desktop or into your documents. Then open the folder and run the application from there. You have to extract all files to a specific folder first, you can't just use Power ISO to open the one file.
I can't say whether this will work for this download, as I haven't finished downloading it yet, but I haven't had a problem doing it this way. And no one else has answered the people having problems, so I figured this was better than nothing.
