Well, the episode info on my onscreen guide calls this "The Book of the Sword: Episodes 1 & 2". The next one is then titled "The Book of the Heart: Episodes 3 & 4". So maybe if this miniseries does well enough in the ratings, it'll get a regular series. And they'll make this miniseries into six one-hour Season 1 episodes for reruns or whatever. :p

Yea... 1/2 way through watching it now... it's rather lame. Typical 'ninja' people ****ing around too much to make it look like there doing something.
Chick just happens to meet a 'computer expert' - lol - that helps her out later on.

Oh, quick plot... an aranged marrage get's attached by ninjas, girl get's saved by her brother that ran away from home a year ago. He get's killed, and her father gets shot. She's now trying to find out who and why. (All happens in the first 10 mins)

i think the show is good. it reminds me of a tame buffy. a little different but some similarites, girl hero, scooby gang, in love with a guy that is dark. petiton to make a regular series is posted on a blog at abc family's website. go to the samurai girl page.
