Thanks egovir. I checked the link and read both pages but still could not determine what the issue was. Maybe I'm not computer savvy enough 
. I did not install either the flashlight pack or the parallax extreme. I forgot to mention that when I try ROE, it does the same thing. It shows the new planet out in space, zooms in (as the music is playing), stops, and then begins to rotate (as music is playing), but again there is no menu or way out of the program unless I CTL ALT DEL. I appreciate your help and apologize for being a bother as I know you are busy. I am unable to post on Pirate Bay (not sure how) so I posted here again. Thanks.

imo ur problem is "inner" (not related to game itself)
4 issues i can think of atm:
a. video drivers. (try to reinstall older/newer ones)
b. old directx
c. video settings with 3d applications
d. hardware (ram or/and video card overheat)
i.e. if u use video redirection to ur tv or some other device this may cause problem. on the other hand if other games run with no problems, then this shouldn't be it.
this also may be some vista **** if u use it tho.
1.3.1 patch may help as well. try installing it and this stuff upon it:

i know this sounds stupid but i am a complete computer novice, i have downloaded the game and when i double click it to open it it opens with "power2go" a cd and dvd burning software.
how do i open it so i can play the game (on vista) and do i need certain software?

im having severe problems with pathfinding for the soldiers and the robots, robots and soldiers run around in circles, bots cant find their way to mission points

the problem u described is indeed sometimes happens.
the bot script bug doesn't always occur and its pretty much random.
it does not affect game progress tho, u can just move past bot or npc and continue. the bug cause is parallax extreme mod. maybe its fixed in the newer version. however, if its bugging you too much, u can simply reinstall game into new folder without this mod (flashlight mods are 100% bug free) and copy old saved games.
the zombie on a platform u mentioned is from same mod, but only if u pressed some keys like O or J, (i don't remember for sure atm). some of non common use keys are binded to various mob spawn (start the new game).

Hey i downloaded it succesfully but as coffeestoner i got the same error;i think it's becouse of Vista.Then as said on General ?nformation part;i installed the patch 1.3.1.The game worked finally but this time in the game menu i get "invalid key" error and it wants valid keys for both doom3 and roe...Everywhere i've been looking for crack for version 1.3.1,you had said that TNT team had made the crack but how can i get that?Please help me!!!!

I'm having some trouble with the key, I applied the 1.3.1 patch and it got the game to work on my computer (Vista, btw), but I'm having some trouble with the Doom 3 key. I created a key using the gen supplied but it tells me that it's invalid. I'm a little new to keygens so maybe I'm doing something wrong? Any suggestions?

JrAeKvEo, have you tried installing the 1.3.1 patch yet? If not give it a try, I had the same/similar problem and installing the patch fixed it. The link to the patch is supplied in posting 21 by the uploader. Hope it helps.

uhh i have a major problem
i finished the dl the game
but when i try to install the game on the C: drive it says

everytime i try to install in a diffrent way, Eg. Install only the expension, install Doom 3 only, install only the mods and there is always a problem

Thanks for the game it works . BUT WTF it came with a *****n Trojan Virus.
Norton found it extremely fast but would absolutely not get rid of it. I have Norton 2009 with the most updated definitions. Why the Hell do people like you get pleasure out of infecting people's computers? Its a good way to make everyone in the world hate you.

To the ******* who think there is a virus because their AVG free and Norton BS 09 are showing one, there is not. The file that is shown as "infected" is the crack for the game so you don't need a serial #. You guys should know by now that almost all cracks and keygens show false positives as trojans. I DL'ed this a couple of months ago and played through both the reg. game and ROE and it works perfectly. And as someone above said to play ROE just click mods in the game menu and select ROE. Great game too 10/10.

While installing the game Norton detected Trojan. But the installation gone well and the game is now working.But my problem is that the game FPS is not fine and i find it difficult to play smoothly. it ****s for the moment to me... i installed all the extras in the setup and stuff like that and, runs only in the first loading then crashes (it suppose to appear the "ID" video after that "fast" loading and then the menu screen, but stops in the first loading screen....PLEASE HELP ME
p.s. my 3870 video card has the latest ati drivers (9.4), I also have a Phenom quadcore processor 2.3 GHz, 2 gigs of corsair ram 800 MHz, and Im vista 32 bit user service pack 1

At a certain point in the game the display drivers crash. I've been playing for a while and reloaded and got the same point and it crashed twice now. No idea why it does that since it worked the rest of the entire way through. Anyone got a suggestion?

This is the 0nly usefull comment here--
Mount using Deamon Tools.. dont use WinRAR or ****
Let the setup begin, make sure u check all components to be installed
1)Your antivirus software will detect a trojan, which u must ignore. d3_key.exe IS NOT A HARMFULL exe, its just a Key
2)irsetup error will come- saying access denied
Ignore it, and press OK
3)DOOM3 Setup will just hang, so close it using Ctrl+Alt+Del
4)Where u have installed the game, look for d3.rar_
Use WinRAR to extract the files in the game directory, overwritting everything
!!! DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET, as it will do an online check !!!!
5) Use these keys to activate ur DOOM3 and DOOM3 ROE
