The patch is for all language versions: EFIGSPCH and all engine versions.
I don't know if it works with swapped localization file.
Is there anyone who made this crack working on Vista x64? Which image do you use?

Me too, but I swapped twice cracked protect.dll from ver. 1.5.03 (GCW) with mouting and unmounting image (from GCW too) and it works (probably for 3 days)...

you must run game trough bat

open notepad and write in:

start bin/xrEngine.exe

save it as somename.bat

and put it in STALKER Root Folder.

I run vista 64 and installed english version. It asks for stalker ?????.??? disk. Hopoe someone comes up with something that works, soon.

There's no crack for 1.5.04. I do have a working crack for v1.5.03 (with 3 day activation removed), but 1.5.04 is not cracked yet. There's a workaround but it only fixes bugs in scripts, not in the engine itself and it does not enable some new features (such as stamina bar) and also, some locations don't work properly. (there's a patched script to fix this, haven't tested it yet).

And also, the crack may not work under Vista (at least I haven't heard anyone to get the crack working on something else than WinXP).
Maybe american release will get cracked faster.

i've already saw some of the changes in this patch, i think the game works better now. Though its a bit (actualy more then a bit) harder now. Ammo is now a problem... Quests work better now

i take my words back, it's impossible to leave Cordon, when you try to switch locations, it asks you Do you really want to go to that location? After clicking OK, it just turns you around 180 degrees on the same spot
