patch is for version a and program is version b so it won't work like this.

Still NOT working. I have tried downloading and installing this Torrent (vegas pro) from 3 different people. It NEVER WORKS. I follow the directions to a tee and still nada. What am I doing wrong?
Here is what I do. I download using bitcomet. Then I install. Then I go to keygen and patch to the folder sony vegas pro. I then run vegas pro. It asks me for serial number which works fine. Then I say that I will register with another computer (as instructed). Then I go to activate and it says it is an invalid number. What am I doing wrong??
