You're right, it's not. You think most actual conservatives really like McCain? They're just voting "against" Obama.
The point is neither "choice" is really that great - these politicians and the Republicrat "parties" are killing this country. Look at the bailout that just got voted in, even though calls to Congress and the Senate were overwhelmingly opposed to it.
The founders of the US warned us specifically not to allow a bunch of private banks promoting a phony paper-***** fiat currency system to gain control of things and that's what we've done.

Yes, look it up. The "Federal Reserve" is unconstitutional. It's not federal, it's a bunch of private banks that operate without impunity behind closed doors. It's not a reserve, they don't back ***** anymore which is why we have out of control inflation. Add in a useless, corporate-controlled media and an uneducated public and you have the fall of the United States of America. Or at least a 10 year depression.

No, I don't. I don't want socialized medicine either. I don't want government to continue the trend of overtaxing citizens and re-distributing the wealth - again it's unconstitutional. We are 50 Trillion ******* in debt as a nation (counting debt and future government entitlements), and we cannot afford to police the world anymore. How many countries have we ****** off by trying to bring "Democracy" at the barrel of a gun? Credible, real threats we act on immediately. But this whole "so and so nut job leader doesn't like so and so" and we better preemptively act on it has got to stop. In fact, the only way it's going to continue much longer IS WITH A DRAFT.

And here's where the Obama worshipers are wrong; he's still a tool of the military industrial complex. Even if we spend years to get out of Iraq Obama sounds like McCain we he starts talking about Iran and Islamo-fascism. Iran has 0 nuclear weapons and no standing army. Consider the 100's of nukes the USSR had in the '80's and how that situation was handled. Now consider the current American policy of preemptively attacking a nation who "might" be doing something nuclear. It makes us the aggressor and it doesn't fall in line with what America should be about.
Both of our "choices" are bunk. THE GAME IS RIGGED. That is the bottom line.

Don't you get it? They want us caught up in this "back and forth" between our "choices" so we don't notice that neither are all that great. Nor do they do what they say they will. Bush isn't even a conservative by definition, his budget is far more bloated than Clinton's was. I guarantee president Barrack Hussein Obama will continue the US government's military tradition of sticking its nose where it doesn't belong; just like Bush and Clinton (though not to the extent of Iraq) did before him - it's not just a "Republican" thing. All of the actions we take in the name of "good" end up coming back at us years later. It was the CIA who armed and trained Al-Queida to take on our "enemy of the moment" Russia. ****** Hussein was our ally only a few decades ago.

Neither side acknowledges in any realistic fashion key points such as following the Constitution, a strong defensive national policy while MYOB, the current erosion of our civil liberties, and fixing the ***** problem with proper value-backed currency and not more credit.

Come and live in Australia where I live and you'll get a feel for socialism and real government control. We can't fart without needing a permit and pay a tax. If you happen to be a lazy, good for nothing then we have the life for you. More welfare than you can poke a stick at it. The lazier you are the more you get. For Gods sake America, wake the **** up and get it together or join us. Read and understand your constitution and live by it.

I was lucky enough to live in the U.S. for 10 years, and you have an awesome country. If you don't like the U.S. then perhaps travel to other countries and maybe you will understand why Barry Hussein Obama is opposite of what your founding fathers preached. Unless of course you are looking for a free ride, well then he's your man.

i dont care if the presidents were purple and green. yes it will be a moment in history to have a african american pres. but a moment is all it will be. he will never do anything to better any of the people i know. remember this its not about race at all. theres been a white pres all my life. and as far as i remember ive been white all 35 years. im still low class out the gutter. so if a black one holds promise of something better for me and the projects then bring it out.
