i dont see why people would want a a 'super ubuntu'.
ive been using it now for quite some years and ive found most users like its for its felxabilty and lack of unneeded programs that just take up space and memory.

Wubi is something that installs Ubuntu "inside a file", on your Windows partition.
-no partitioning, no formatting, no chance to break your computer just to try Ubuntu!
To do this with Super Ubuntu (and Ubuntu, of course), just mount the .iso with daemon tools, and open the file umenu.exe... (the rest is just next, next, next...)
Once you get tired of it, just uninstall it like a normal program...

You know that Ubuntu is a free software . If i download it from - www.ubuntu.org . then it will be same as you have uploaded ?

For those with more comprehension skills that 8D32, this is the Ubuntu 8.10 release that the uploader has added to. He has "slipstreamed" extras into the installation process that many users would usually install on a clean install of Ubuntu. These are things like the codecs for DVD and MP3 playback, Flash player, Java and all of the updates for Ubuntu, OpenOffice and the **** up until this torrent was released. Many of the things included in this release of Super Ubuntu are the first things linux noobs ask about when they install Ubuntu, so Super Ubuntu is handy for ppl migrating from Windoze or linux noobs in general.
The down side is that because of all the included extras, Super Ubuntu is a larger download than the vanilla Ubuntu 8.10 .iso. This is largely moot because if you downloaded and installed normal Ubuntu and then installed all of the extras through apt-get or synaptic, you'd probably download more data than this torrent anyway.

Experienced linux/Ubuntu users may or may not find this slipstreamed version useful but I heavily promote Ubuntu and I'm always trying to convert Windoze users to Ubuntu. It's easier for me to install Super Ubuntu on a noob's system and know they can play common file formats right off the bat rather than having to fiddle for 2 hours to get all the "extras" installed.
In some ways, Super Ubuntu is the version of Ubuntu that Canonical would release if they didn't have to consider legal and philosophical issues.
Keep up the good work SuperUbuntu.
