I am having problem
Whenever I want to join any server in LAN Or internet It shows invalid CD key. I have reinstalled it 6 times each time deleting the registry and the counter strike folder But It does not WOORRRRKKK. Any solution?

Use Pacsteam and download cs 1.6 for free...non steam is a memory!
With pacsteam,you can play on steam servers...FOR FREE!

i think i have a solution for 22#
1.install the game
2.when your done go into you program files
3.look for your counter strike file then open it
4. look for somthing called cd key if you have xp it should look like a blue rubics cubefor the icon and saya cd key.
5. double click on it and it should ask you if you want to put hte cd key into your dorectory say yes
6. then go into the game and wolla!! it should work now
this is one thing i thought of im not sure it would work becaues i didnt download the game cauesi got from a diffrent torrent so i hope it workd for you

First I've installed the game, it didn't work. But after installing the maps.exe it worked fine. It connects to servers as well.
My problem is, in some servers it asks for sXe, when I try to run sXe I get error in the log file:
[C:\Program Files\Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike.exe] -> Incorrect version [c32db24e414d9d0de8f225f9dfc8c27b](BLOCKED)
Any advice?

@ 41 man! go to mphack UTFG (use the ****ing google) and download the latest hack it contains aimbot and wallhack and NO VIRUSES !! and is undetected but if u are playing on some good server and an admin is online he will ban you so be carefull . it worked well for me just download it extract it read read me if ya want then open cs DONT JOIN ANY SERVER open leis.exe and join a server and HACK!!! ok bye bye .. whenever i create a new game or join a server the map loads then the "you are playing the official version of counter-strike...." screen appears when i try to click ok the game stops responding and the game gets stuck on that part. this has not happened only in this but also the other
