HELP!!!!

so here's the problem with this torrent, it work for 24h or until you are connected to the internet. at that point, a message comes up that it is not a valid SN and you can't open any other CS4 apps.

are there some files that you need to delete to prevent this?? I have the other sn included with this file, but i think i will get prob. so any help would be awesome!!!!!!

1.download Little snitch.install(disconnect from internet)(restart required)
2.install CS4 collection (use the one of the 2 serials)
3.after CS4 install make sure little snitch is turned on.
4. when you start a CS4 app little snitch will pop up and tell you that CS4 is trying to connect to Adobe sever to verify the serial number or what ever they need to verify.At this point you will deny the connection with the help of little snitch.

here's some advice: LEARN LITTLE SNITCH.

the bad news for you is that you might have to reformat your MAC HD to get rid of the fact that adobe has flagged you with a bad SN.

Thank you to the uploader very much, but I do have a few questions.
Before I installed the program, I neglected to read through the comments, therefore I didnt know anything about little snitch, etc. To sum everything up, I already used both the serials and when I enter them in the area I'm supposed to, little red "X"s show up next to them... it seems like there's no way for me to validate.

If anyone can help me out, it'd be amazing.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to block adobe activation AFTER you have successfully installed the software? I ran little snitch instead of adobe block script and little snitch didnt work

I've had this for a few days (yes, I've been seeding the whole time) and think I'm ready to try this. BUT: It seems to me that little snitch is always on--is that not correct? I downloaded this and installed on my mac, and blocked all registration connections via little snitch, but now today, when I try and start up dreamweaver I get the message, License Expired, Licensing for this product has expired. I have the best part os 10 different serials numbers, which I have removed the program then reinstalled using different numbers, but then cant even get the program to run without the message every time, coming up then closing down, please also note that iI did not select the 30 day trial version. I looks to me that this can only be ran for 30 days either way

Within using this, Never do an update as it registers the software then deactivates.

Don't waist your time downloading, until you see a justified comment on what is wrong. Anyone else have this problem?

@58 If you remove little snitch from your computer, it will activate with adobe then close down, don't take away little snitch.

@60 Don't download again, just keep the DMG file, remove the application, change your date on the computer remember to unclick automatic time checker, reinstall and your back on. This will only work if you have kept a copy of your original download.

This will work perfect, only if you use the adobe application to uninstall.

Does this require a lot of maintenance to keep it working? I plan to install it onto a friend's new iMac but he's a bit illiterate when it comes to torrents and cracking, don't want him to have to stress out all the time and he's a graphic designer so needs these for work. I'm sure he'll buy them in time for that reason, he's just getting started so *****'s a bit short right now but if this is gonna be a pain in his ass I'll leave it and tell him to just buy it.

i'f downloaded adobe master collection, installed it, i use little snitch now but i have 2 questions..

1. i read above and some said that little snitch not least forever? so after a couple weeks would i be unaible to youse it ?

2. before i downloaded little snitch i tried to make photoshop work with an other serial, it said it was a good one so i accepted it... but now it says (only photoshop) SN is invalid.. i tried to uninstall all of the adobe master package and re-install but now it still says the same.. does anybody knows what to do ???

1) The first app you install from www.adobe.com after downloading and installing as a 30-day trial.

2) Run the "block adobe activation" script file (or change in terminal as POST 83)

3) Delete the "cache.db" file (as POST 72.... (3)a....)

4) Open the app, and input a serial from 'iSerial' or similar for that individual app.

5) This allows full use of the app. Also allows full updates. Updates you run from Adobe.... before opening the app after the update, YOU MUST re-delete the "cache.db" file again.

- but most importantly added the code in the terminal,
Will this current download work with that previous alteration in the terminal?
I asked TrixRabbit, if I should remove the four files or folders that were down loaded from the previous download, but I haven't got an answer from him on how to do that. If I can just delete them from the vuse library or is there a specific way to remove it from the system. I don't think they were ever installed completely, because I don't see them at all in applications.

I saw some of your converse with TrixRabbit on ...[CodeTempest]'s crack.
To be honest I can't see you will have changed much prior to the apps being installed.
So my advice to you is the same for all....
Follow the step-by-step instructions that I posted on [POST 72]
This will allow a very easy method of install, and no messing around in terminal.
Allows full updates, so long as the rules are followed in [POST 73]

quick question. I probably was a little eager in dling cs4, installing little snitch and running the apps before waiting for the work of TrixRabbit, ...[CodeTempest], Xplodead, BigSpender et al.
Now that I've installed cs4 and put in a serial, rather than choosing the trial version, can i still use the Activation Blocker script (found at posts 72 and 96)? Or would I be best to delete what I've got, dl the trial versions from adobe and then use it?

I double checked all the above, restarted and tried again and got the same message.
I googled "dscacheutil" and it would seem that it's new in Leopard rather than os version 10.4.11 (Tiger, or something!) that I'm running. If that's the case, is there an equivalent file that I need to change (like lookupd) or do i not need to worry?
I opened a few of the cs4 apps (and input SN as discussed) and they seemed fine.

I can only guess that the app blocker code tries to use dscacheutil to flush the DNS cache. I hope it's not too important, cos I don't know enough to start trying to do that manually!!

Failing that, set the date on your MAC 1 year backwards... then follow the steps on [POST 72]
Then put the date forwards again and check it still works

I recommend you to download SerialBox and follow the instructions you'll find there. If you dont want to use LittleSnitch, you can also edit your hosts file to block Adobe's activation servers. I've been using it for a month and no problem at all.

I'm hoping some one can help me.
I installed this torrent following the instructions of BigSpender almost two weeks ago and things where working fine, but today I when I tried opening Illustrator a message popped out telling me that the application had quit unexpectedly, after effects and fireworks are doing the same thing and I have not installed any updates since I first installed the programs.
Since I'm new to mac I don't really know what I can do to repair it if anything.

Hey folks...

I followed step 71 (including downloading Code Tempest's script)...and everything seems to work fine...until I open up one of the applications for the 4th or 5th time...

The error message I receive is...

"excuse the interruption but...our records indicate the serial number used to set up this software is invalid...

"This serial will no longer permit you to use this produc"

ANY IDEAS?!?

I haven't seen anyone post a similar error like this so far....

Did you install the app as a TRIAL? and then later enter the serial number?
If not, you need to uninstall and start again following the procedure EXACTLY as [Post 71]

The only other explanation for this is the 'Hosts' file that the script changes.
Try and check/change manually as per [Post 81]

Just want to "Thank You!" for providing a clearer instruction!! However, i still came upon a problem when editing the scripts on Terminal. After i put my password, I typed "vi/etc/hosts" followed by ur instructions on post (#82). This is the respond:

I wanted to first give a big thanks to everyone on here that is checking this and helping everyone else out. I downloaded the krack and keygen aswell as the file and got everything installed successfully! After reading everything I wanted to just make sure everything is going to STAY working successfully, so the only thing that I did was run the activation script blocker and use one of the serials in the text file. I'd avoid doing updates - just did one and it rejected the serial after i deleted the cache.db and then said the license had expired. Had to delete all adobe products - then go back and install fresh.

yep... followed your instructions and it was working perfectly. Then a day later I ran an update, then deleted the cache.db...it then asked me for the serial again which I put in and everything seemed to be ok. Then next time I launched it said the "excuse me the serial is invalid"... Then said my license had expired...

The first time I typed the script manually - so maybe I stuffed up? I've now gone with the provided "activation script blocker". Are you still running updates ok?

Ok to clear up updates....

The hosts file that you need to change either in Terminal or by using the block script posted loops back the 'call-home' for Adobes pirated serial numbers.

Once this has been changed the only reference of the pirated [blocked-out] serials is in the "cache.db" file you delete.
This means that you DO NOT need to block with little snitch, and can run all updates forever more.
After an update Adobe secretly replaces the "cache.db" file with a list of all bad numbers - this makes your current serial invalid.

By deleting it, then putting in the same serial you first used, you create a new "cache.db" file that is clean and gives you a fully running app.

Sadly this will not work for very long. There are a few programs now written that by-pass LittleSnitch.
For your own saftey and peace of mind you should check out LittleSnitch's forum to see which apps aren't blocked and re-trace tried and tested methods listed above.

@tulpfiction to make it clearer Windows formatted drives comes in [NTFS] & [FAT32] which in MAC version is [Mac OS Extended-Journaled] & [MS-DOS]. [NTFS] will allow anything more than 4Gig+ to be moved or copied but not the other and i hope this is clear-cut solution to your problem and when you do get your "shiny new Mac" be aware also that external drives that are formatted [Mac OS Extended-Journaled] will have problems reading on a Windows-based PCs. Have Fun Experimenting

Sorry, let me clarify.

Photoshop works fine. However, every other time I run it, it tells me that the serial number is bad and I need to put in a new one.

I delete the cache, put in the serial number provided here, then it runs fine again.

It's apparently checking the serial number when I turn it on...

Does that make sense?

I did not have a previous installation. I reinstalled the OS and updated.

It's not exactly an error message. I open Ps and a window pops up that tells me the serial number is 'bad'
It gives me the option to install a new serial number, buy a serial number, or run the software. If I run the software I can only run it once, the next time I run it I will need to put in a new serial number.
However, clearing the cache works.

I am running CS4 from this torrent.

WHAT!?!?!?!? hey bigspender - so i followed your instructions to a tee with the terminal (took me a while to get it going cause i had the terminal windown coming up so tiny as to be unusable... did some forum searching and found that "monaco" font must be installed and used as terminal default for it to work). anyway, i entered everything as written and after the last line of "127.0.0.1" entry, the "::1 localhost" appeared as you said (though there were a number of spaces between the "::1" and "localhost", maybe 8?anyway, i wrote the code (:wq) and exited terminal. the only odd thing was that upon exiting terminal, it asked me if i wanted to terminate the shell because the following processes would be terminated: "/login" "/bash" "/bash". i assumed this was right, since your instructions didn't say anything about this....

The error you have got in terminal is the problem you have.
Did you press the [ESC] key after "::1 localhost" on the last line?

Also this error could be from 'copy/paste'.... Did you TYPE all the instructions, or copy/paste the ones written here? Terminal is very sensitive to bloated code from font formats etc.

I've went to this site (http://www.cs4all.****.hr/) to try and do script block.. (as there was no info about your block script on that site).. I tried their suggestions... but I'm not a pro Terminal person.. but created a root user (to elinmate using sudo), logged in.. and at one point they said :
Enter the Terminal (Applications / Utility). Type this:
sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts
This did not work as I couldn't create the correct path..as it keep saying "no such file or directory".

There are a few apps now written to go 'behind the scenes' of LS [little snitch] and so Adobe will eventually see you are using a pirate serial and block you out. Plus you have no support for needed updates etc...

If you are running Leopard OS [10.5] then use the block script, delete the cache file, launch the CS4 app and put in the given serial, then you will be up and running.

If you are running Tiger [10.4] then you need to manually edit the hosts file in terminal.
If have devised a method that is a little easier than that posted on [Post 81] if you want it.

Please be aware that Terminal is VERY SENSITIVE to bloated code from fonts and styling, and many problems come from 'copy/paste' ing the text from things like this comment box into the terminal.

The user agreement should not be popping up at all. You aren't deleting the "cache.db" file before using the app every time are you?
Did you run the block script? If so, which version of OS X are you using? Leopard [10.5] is fine with the script, but Tiger [10.4] doesn't work, and the manual Terminal patch is needed.

Updates should be accessible in and CS4 app on the MenuBar, far right under "Help" >> "Updates" .... This should start the Adobe Updater Program for all CS4 apps.

You are right with Uninstall / Reinstall causing issues. But thankfully you don't need to do that.
Disconnect from the web, then run the block script, delete the cache file [all as Post 71] put in serial number.... That should be fine.

If Adobe has blocked you out already, let me know and I'll tell you how to reverse this.

Yes, I do have 10.5 and was able to run the block script. Just like Bianca, I downloaded directly from Adobe because I didn't wanna wait and I only wanted Flash and Photoshop. I tried using serials from iserial, but none would take, so I used the one found from post 71 and it was accepted. Hope that's not where I went wrong.

I did delete the cache file a few times when I installed each of the apps separately and also when I ran an update from the Adobe website...

I wonder what I'm missing... Is there a way to see if I'm still in "Trial" mode? Or will I just get cut off after 30 days if I made a mistake? The Update option from the menu bar is still grayed out.

No luck... that sn didn't take. I also downloaded Illustrator direct from Adobe and only the sn listed from post 71 would work. Unfortunately, the update option is grayed on this app as well.

Wonder if I should dl the master suite here and try? If I do so, do I need to uninstall the three I downloaded direct from Adobe?

I have a question ... i just installed cs4 the Bigspender-way (many thanks!) on my iMac, and it works great


but when i started reading, i installed little snitch ... ni problem i uninstalled it and cs4 works great ... but now i wanted to go on msn, and it says that the server is down or that i'm not connected to the internet ... strange ... i uninstalled msn, and installed the 7.0 version, but same story ... then i installed aMSN and there it said something about a socket and that the host is down ... i also have a macbook (here i didn't install the cs4 suite), so there msn works just perfect


so can it have something to do with installing the cs4 or little snitch for 5 minutes?

CS4 isn't your problem with connecting to the net.
Did you TRASH the LittleSnitch app, or use the Uninstaller that was in the .dmg?

I would re-install LittleSnitch, as it is very useful anyway for many other apps. Configure it well which will be a little annoying for the first day of using your Mac, then will run in the background fine.
No need to block connections to Adobe with LS though.

Please read [Post 70]. You can certainly do an install of only a few [or one] of the apps in the CS4 Master Suite. You pick and choose. The serial on [Post 70] will work if you follow the steps there.
Likewise upgrades are fine too. It will not interfere with any other Adobe app as long as they are CS4 apps. If they are not, then remove them and install the new CS4 versions you now have in the Master Suite download you just acquired To do this you will also need to run the relevant clean script mentioned several times on this posting board [do a search].



UAEmirate....
I have no idea. I believe that you have access to download a trial version of the app direct from Adobe's site if you are in the UAE... but I could be wrong. Check there anyway. If you can, then you can patch the app in the same method as listed here on this site.

The problem I am having, which I haven't seen mentioned in this thread yet, is I keep getting stalled on the installer alert. I am not sure how to even install this program. I feel stupid. I am sure it's easy, but I just can't figure it out. I've tried to follow directions on post #70, but I keep getting stuck.

So my questions are, does someone on here have a working serial for Indesign CS4? Or can someone help me understand why I can't get this to work right. You could try this:

1. Start Font Book from the Applications folder.
2. Select All Fonts, and then press [cmd + a] to select all.
3. At the bottom of the "Font" column, click the button tagged "disable selected fonts" and click OK
4. Run the Partical Wolrd plugin.

If that goes smoothly, reactivate all your fonts after.

To update, you need to close the app once the update starts.

Then open any CS4 app, and it will ask for the serial number again. Just put in the same one.

So far so good but I can not find the cache.db

I installed the full package (except Photoshop) but there is no folder Adobe PCD/ cache

when I type in the terminal:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache/

my mac answered:
-bash: /Library/Application: No such file or directory

I also can´t find the folder in the Finder or Spotlight

I know Maphy had the same problem and solved it but I don't find the solution in the posts. Can anyone help?

thanks for upload. I have downloaded it and open the DMG file, then opened CS4 files then run set up, it beings to initialize, then does a system profiling, then opens the installer window but then an alert comes up over it saying 'installer alert;. But there is nothing in the white box to tell me what the alert is. I have tried hitting enter but no luck. Cant get past this Installer Alert. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like a problem with your Mac, or possibly corrupted download of CS4.
Try running disk permissions from "Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility" and fix any errors then try again.
Failing that, we'll have to do some investigations!

Do you mean you have previous installs of CS4 apps... individually?
If so this is where your problem lies. The master suite is fussy about where it gets installed to.
Uninstall all CS4 stuff, and follow the instructions and clean script that Adobe offer:

Then do a fresh install.

There is always an easier way to do things...
I haven't read a lot from this forum, but I got a serial pretty easily by downloading the keygen provided by the uploader on the description page:

I'm an old fashioned windows gal who just got a mac, and I absolutely love keygens. Either get someone with a windows to use this, or download CrossOver, which is a great application if you want to run .exe files on a mac. Generate a key for the mac, and that's it. No changing dates, no going into registry's. Hope this ends up helping someone

I have read nearly all to post above. I downloaded and then followed the instructions on Step 70. My first issue is that the cache.dp continues to come back even after i delete it. Then i open the blocker script and input the SN. I am then asked the next time i start Ps if i want the 30 day trial or if i have an SN.

i am /was a new mac user...and i got it to work Kaptanim.

what you have to do is the following :

NEW INSTALLERS:

1) After downloading, open and install the suite as a 30-day Trial
(DO NOT INPUT A SERIAL)

2) Download the following script file.
All you have to do is open it!

3)
a) Press (Command + Shift + G) and type: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache/

b) Find the file called: "cache.db" select and delete it. If you are declined permission then press (Command + i) and change the "Sharing and Permissions" (bottom of dialogue box) from "system" to "everyone", and type your password. Then delete the file.

4) Open the CS4 app, then type in the following serial:
1325-0051-1253-2953-2623-3607

For Acrobat Pro type in the following serial:
1118-0011-0841-2246-4404-1353

You only need to delete the 'cache.db' file after the first install, and then after any updates.

NOT EACH TIME YOU OPEN AN APPLICATION

Great work Big Spender, I edited the hosts file as you suggested and all seems to be flying well, I'm studying Graphic Design at uni and it was a pain not been able to do my stuff at home.

Oh and CS4 is soooooooo much better than CS3, the UI is VASTLY improved!

Thanks for all the info Big Spender! Like sycosingo (Post 242), I placed the serial number in before selecting the 30-Day Trial because I got this off Demonoid.

I had some instruction there to right-click the cache file and to "Lock" it. Should I do that or no? I'm not sure exactly what that will do. I don't want it to interfere with the script or anything in case it does. I am a Mac no0b.

Step 1 - Make sure you've run a CS4 app once (use trial if asked). Quit any open CS4 apps.
Step 2 - If you've previously entered a serial, load any CS4 app, go to the Help menu and

Step 3 - Open Terminal (found in Applications/Utilities/). In the terminal window, paste in:

I'm not sure what your asking?!
OK here goes:
A.1) The adobe apps need to be fully installed on a fresh system. When asked to register, select the 30-day free trial.
After all is installed, run the "Block script" or change the hosts file manually [on OSX 10.4 it has to be done manually], this stops adobe from checking if you are using a pirated serial number.

A.2) The "cache.db" file is a list of all blocked out serial numbers. Upon updates Adobe tends to reinstall this and so your serial number can become blocked.
Simply delete the cache.db file when all apps are closed after running the block script. When you launch a app for the first time it will ask for a serial, and use the one mentioned above. This will create a new "cache.db" allowing your pirated serial number to function.

now i have a dumb question when i opened illustrator i got a message from "adobe updater":

"a new version of the adobe updater is available for installation. click ok to install it now. Note: you may be required to authenticate in order to install"

i hit cancel of course.

but i have a question, if the system realizes that it needs an update, doesn't that mean that my computer is communicating with adobe, and if my computer is communicating with adobe, does that mean that they will find me and disable my adobe programs? omg, i hope not!!!!!

The way the CS4 apps are patched is very clever. They are FULLY working, this means essential updates are all installable. The Adobe connections are still all working EXCEPT the call home feature in the hosts file which tells Adobe what serial number you are using.
Go ahead and update to the latest versions. Then just delete the cache.db file to be safe, and upon re-launching any app for the first time after updating you will be asked to put in the serial I gave you. This will only happen the first time on the first CS4 app after the update / deleting of the cache.db file.

Well, i was trying to install it from off a server that i had put up, i just put the file directly on the Mac computer and i am going to try it again that way, it is the Laptops hard drive i am trying to put it on, but in case that doesn't work i downloaded the torrent, put it on my server so i could access it, and then tried running it from there.. But i can see that things are going a little differently now that i saved the file to the laptop directl

Great, well done.

So for everybody's information, Adobe CS4 like most system heavy applications MUST be run from the Mac it is to be installed on [the ".dmg" program file needs to be saved on the active Mac], and onto the same hard drive as the OS is installed [Normally called "Macintosh HD"].

This is how most people will be set up and work anyways.

What you have written in your method in Post 418 is absolutely correct.
I can only think that you are following this procedure EVERY time you run a CS4 app.
If this is the case there is no need, and consequently deleting the "cache.db" file each time will keep on forcing the CS4 app to search for a serial.
After deleting the cache file, then starting the app... followed by inputting the serial number supplied in [POST 70] the app will:
a) launch and run fully featured
b) save your inputted serial number into the "cache.db" file [that's why it re-appears]. This is a replaced one making Adobe think the apps are all bought and paid for.

If this isn't the case [as in you don't keep on deleting the cache file] then we need to investigate a bit more. There is ALWAYS a solution!

Yes it has made a difference! As soon as you read this, disconnect from the internet and follow the instructions to change the hosts file manually in terminal [POST 79] and make sure you TYPE the code and DO NOT copy/paste it from here [the formating in the font on here makes terminal confused and bloats the code].
The block script was written for Leopard to change the call home feature of the Adobe suite. With out this modified Adobe can at will check your serial and block you out from using the apps.
Make the change in terminal and you should be sorted for life.

What I did is I downloaded the file and already installed it, like a regular program with the SN it came. After one day, it said the SN was not correct, I tryed the second one, and now is telling me the same to use a valid SN or have a 30 trial day.
So, I want to know what to do now to use the program.

Thanks a lot for the help. I've installed Snow Leopard 10.6 and whenever I'm connected to the internet, I get the error code telling me my serial number is incorrect.

So, I heeded your advice but every time I delete the FlexNet folder (as well as permanently from Trash), Adobe automatically creates it again and places it under my Preferences. Hence, I still receive the error messages. I've tried playing around with the order I do this, even input different serial numbers, and restarted my Mac but Adobe continues to generate the FlexNet folder the instant I open any CS4 program.

Help with this would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!

Try opening one of the CS4 apps. You should get reminded that you are using a trial.
Quit all CS4 apps, then run the block script again. [Terminal shouldn't load]
Then see if you can find the cache.db file.

@ assetevol...
Set the date back on your Mac by 1 year. Then follow the instructions on [POST 70].
Then put the date forwards to today again.
No need to uninstall to get that app working.
However if you intend to install the master collection then as previous posts have stated you need a Adobe free system and need to run the clean scripts. Do a search on this thread as all the info you need is already here.

Followed BigSpender's instructions in post 459. Used the downloaded script this time instead of doing it manually b/c, like in post 92, Terminal says bash-3.2# after I do the first couple steps. Afterwards, however, I still can't find cache.db.

The folder Library > Application Support > Adobe now has additional contents. It contains the following:

- Adobe PDF
- Adobe Photoshop CS3 (don't know why - this machine is brand new and has never seen adobe products)
- AIR
- Color
- Common
- CS4ServiceManager
- Dreamweaver CS4
- Flash CS4
- QuickTime
- Updater6

Perhaps the document "cache.db" is somehow hidden? Perhaps it has a different name? What would you suggest?

You just have read and proceed carefully.

Install
1. Disconnect from the internet.

hi BigSpender or anyone else,

after cleaning out anything Adobe of my system and installing I couldn't get the Activation Script Blocker (no seeds!).

I went reluctantly with the Terminal. when I enter the ":wq" command I get this error message:
E45 'readonly' option is set (add ! to override)

I have no password on my account, but that shouldn't make any difference in the Terminal, right?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstalling using the clean script [POST 326] and reinstalling will work fine.

Alternatively if the programs are now opening as a trial [Adobe may have given her this option when it discovered the bogus serial], move the date on her Mac forward a year. This will make the trial expire.
Then move the date back to today's date. Run the block script and all should work just fine.

Another method is to edit the Host-file.

You can use terminal to give TextEdit root access to the hosts file. Open a terminal window and enter the following:

sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts

Hit return and enter your admin password when prompted and again hit return.
Your Hosts file should automatically open in TextEdit.
Add the following to the open Hosts file:

127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com

The entries should ideally be made between the existing broadcasthost and ::1localhost entries.
Save the file and quit TextEdit.
Now, If using Leopard, you should use Terminal again to flush your cache:

sudo dscacheutil -flushcache

You can also do the same in Tiger with the following Terminal command:

lookupd -flushcache

Can someone show me where to get that blocker script that Bigspender talked about? I've tried the link he provided on post #70 but it didn't work...my torrent app stays 'connecting' forever but nothing happens.
